can't wait for your Buds 3 Pro review!! it would be so good if you compare them to the original Buds Pro, it's a rare comparison and I can't find anything about it as someone who wants to upgrade from the original Buds Pro. I'm especially curious about the sound quality.
I really appreciate all the hard work you put into your investigations! Your dedication and thoroughness are truly impressive. Thanks for sharing this with us! 🙌
Thanks so much for the great review. As a recent Galaxy 6 Classic purchaser that decided to skip out on the 7's pre-release, I'm kind of glad I did. Apart from the larger sensor (which may or may not be leaps and bounds more accurate than the 6) and a slightly snappier processor, I just see no need for the extra money on the 7. Especially when the 6 does pretty much everything that the 7 does. I get great battery life on my 6 classic and can last 2 full days without a charge, though I charge anyways since it's quick and I don't wear my watch to sleep.
@@enfeeyano True. I only got the 6 classic because it's my first real fitness watch and I was late to the game. It was right at the time Samsung had the buy 1 get 1 free so ended up paying around $160 for my 6 classic. Then the regular 6 for my dad for Father's Day. I do like that Samsung has a nice trade-in program, so if I ever want to upgrade in the future, they give nice credit for watches in good condition.
I would really like to know what the battery life is without AOD. I use my watch primarily for notifications, heart rate and music control so I always turn off GPS, NFC and everything else I don't need. Get around 3-3,5 days of battery with my Ticwatch 3 pro ultra and I wonder what similar usage would get me with this watch
Hi Ryan! Love the video! I own a Watch 4 and the case seems to be the same style and size for this one. any idea if it'll fit they are definitely cheaper if I get a 4 case
Thanks for the video. The problem with the Galaxy Watches are the intrusive Alerts. I've had many Galaxy Watches as I am a die hard Samsung user. I need the watch to help me with my ADHD, it's really helpful in finding my phone, and giving me important reminders of things I am highly likely to forget. I recently suffered a health issue meaning that I need to monitor my health, and the GW is perfect for this. BUT, what I find is that Samsung Health keeps alerting me to things I already know, like 'You've been walking for 10 minutes". Or "You've stopped walking", or "You've walked 5000 steps" 0 I do not need these alerts as they very much distract me. As someone who suffers with ADHD, I find the alerts annoying, as I think I'm receiving an important message, so I look at my watch, only to be greeted with the foolishness mentioned earlier! Also, I'm always running late for things, so I grab my watch as I'm rushing out the door, and try to see what time it is, and if i have any missed alerts, but as soon as I take it off the cradle, I get an obnoxious smiley face telling me that the watch is at 100% - that evil smiling face stares at me for about 5 seconds as I'm desperately trying to see what time it is! Then, when the face disappears, I get an awful heart shaped animation with rings inside it talking about Health Goals for the day - I have to wait another 5 seconds until that is gone to finally see the time, and use the 'find my phone' function to locate my phone (I almost _always_ loose it), and then get of to my meeting/work. As I'm rushing to my appointment, I then get a vibration on my watch, which I always assume is an email, or something important about my work - so I slow down to look at the watch, but all I see is a notification that I've been walking for 10 minutes!! I dont want to turn notifications OFF, as I need to monitor my heartrate and overall health, so I'm stuck with these constant annoying health notifications!
I have the watch 6 classic 47mm. I like it but its definitely too bulky and in the way during sleeping. My settings allow me to wear it or have it off the charge for two to three days. But i always charge it when showering or anything that doesnt require me to wear it. I use it for basic needs. Nobody needs a watch that lasts seven days unless you do a lot of traveling without tech.
Full 24 hours with 20% in the bank with always on display sounds like there's no worry of battery life lasting all day. I'd definitely be worried with the smaller 40mm battery though...
It looks like the bezels are bigger on the Watch 7. I have a Watch 6 and went to the store to look at the 7 and it looked like it had bigger bezels. I pre-ordered but I'm thinking about canceling.
Beware! Went from 5 Pro to new 7 watch and now l'm completely unable to turn off health app related notifications. The options that used to be available to adjust are now completely missing so I'm forced to be distracted with annoying alerts such as Daily Activities Set etc. I can't turn DND on as I' miss the alerts I actually want. How are we going backwards Samsung!?
Hello, I am garmin lover but use galaxy watch for the voice memo features. I see you do to. Do you know if garmin is planning to add voice recording direclty with our a phone in any of its models? Battery life of galaxy watch frustrates me, when compared to the venu 3.
Is there a way to use Spotify on the watch itself? So is it possible to just connect the watch with my earbuds and go for a run without my phone? That would be crazy.. If not, is there any other watch that can do that?
check the total burnt calories. I compared my samsung watch 5 to my previous fitbit and polar devices and total burnt calories was under reported by the watch 5 by atleast 30%.
It's not bad as if you disable all that gimmicky health features on it as it will help extend the battery life. Should be able to get 3 days out of it.

Could you do a battery test on the 40mm as well?

Does the display have an adaptive refresh rate?
Let me know how you test the batteries during an all-day training with the location turned on, e.g. a trip to the mountains thanks
Can you follow gpx routes in the 7 or is it still an exclusive feature of the Ultra?
Samsung says it requires 7 nights wearing it to calibrate to you. Did you wear this for 7 nights or just 1 night for the review?
Wait, BP is available now here in the US?

I'd be surprised if they did, but hypothetically if they did, it would be on a Venu series like Venu 4.

I'm not seeing any definitive reason to upgrade from my 6 Classic. I'll wait for next year's Watch 8 Classic.
Ryan , we do not have silver option for 40mm ? right
Correct, but the cream with the silver band looks like a good combo.
Can you buy or install ''Watch faces'' on this like the Galaxy watch 47mm?

44mm

In the community most people have a charging routine, either early morning or evening for 15-20 minutes. And I never let it go under 20%.
