I want Davies too, i mentioned him like 2-3 years ago with countless others when i did my wishlist back then. Atleast we did sign one of them in Lisandro Martinez.
Nypan is a mainstay of the Rosenborg first team and a lifelong United fan. He played in the friendly against United in the summer and is showing huge promise but he’ll definitely not go for 84 M.
Kyle Walker is one the best signing City have ever done. His speed allows them to play so high up the pitch. Davies would be that guy for us. He is instantly the fastest playing in the league
The Nypan price is around 10M €, so 8,4M £ is closer. Was reported a week or 2 ago. He is a big United fan and played against Untied in the summer at Trondheim. Was on as a sup in 2nd half.
Davies has created this situation so that "he" gets a considerable fee, not Bayern. Yes you can give Bayern a fee but you're still going to have to offer the player a huge signing on fee on top of that. All Real have to do then is just keep increasing their offer to the player to get him on an official agreement in January. All that aside, we need players who want United not the money, new era.
Would love if we got phonzie. For Canada he plays often as a winger and is easily the best concacaf player. He would be class in any position on the left for united. Crossing is underrated in my opinion. His pace creates loads of easy cutback type crosses. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Davies was saying that if he could play in any other league the Premier League would be his first choice. I think if we can stiff arm Madrid, he could be a red in the summer.
I hear this notion of taking injury prone players being OK as they can rotate fitness with our other injury prone players a lot. It’s just people trying to convince themselves when they know it’s a bad idea. Clearly it’s not how injuries work. Our players have been concurrently injured for months at a time. The idea they can take ‘being fit’ in turns is just daft. I hope our shiny new technical team are smarter than this
For players we need I think we’ll see a high profile departure or two to raise funds - that we wouldn’t necessarily expect, like the Ince, Hughes, Kanchelskis summer
Joe ignoring the signing-on fee for Davies. The talk from Spain is they're worried United will give him a fortune. Plus Real might focus more on Trent on a free
You can pay players bigger sign on fees than Madrid. You can pay a bigger salary. Utd can offer a gtd first team position unlike Madrid at the moment. I also wouldn’t underestimate the pulling power of Utd & the Prem, even if against Madrid.
Davies would be an amazing signing. If we don't go for gyokeres in the summer we should try for Jonathan David on a free for two very good canadian Internationals. Also I was thinking... 🤔 because Ruben Amorim has a good relationship with Pedro Porro maybe we could try for him in the summer for Right wing back.
Obviously it’s a game and definitely not the basis of signing a player but I buy Nypan for any team I’m managing on Football Manager. He becomes a world beating player. The difference is, he’s about £6m on the game which is much more realistic
Malacia and Shaw out , Davies in and promote Amass - thats a net profit right away Not sure about Branthwaite but i guess Maguire, Lindelof and Evans could all leave so we will need someone
He's a very, very good CB playing against kids. Just because he's huge (and somewhat skilled, and not exactly slow, true) doesn't mean he's ready for a top league.
@ and I never said he’s ready give him a chance he might prove u wrong since he’s young and hungry we haven’t learnt our lessons have we keep buying players overpaying and they do fuk all
I want United to steer away from making big money signings for big players as it just doesnt work for us However, Davies would be one of the exceptions. He would be the perfect LWB in the Amorim system
Yeah I’ve been saying the same, get some top players for lower clubs. It’s historically been a United thing to do but we’ve gone away from it. I’d take Davies though especially with the system.
And it’s on a free just need to pay wages and signing on fee. He’s a 60m player easy. He’s the best out there for that position I’d say, that’s available anyway.
You guys do like following people off cliffs. ETH is the obvious example. But Maguire is definitely another. He’s been a terrible buy. Utter madness that the inept Utd suits paid £80m for the slow mistakes ridden lump who just refuses to leave for obvious reasons. And using Southgate liking him as a reason to defend him says everything.
How can a football podcast know so little about footballers that dont play for united? Watch some football lads. Do your research so you sound knowledgeable when talking transfers
Like this comment if you'd sign Davies!
Feels different this time boys!🤞🤞
That'd be cool if it were to happen, two players from my home (Alberta, Canada) putting on the United kit in Hargreaves and Davies.
Was thinking coming from Canada there’s a good chance he followed/ supported United growing maybe
Jonathan David on a free would be amazing too for two very good Canadian internationals.
@@SharpeTommo117 I worry about his pace for the EPL if I'm honest.
Haha bro I’m in Alberta too. You wrote my comment before I could lol
Joes face 2:13 haha
Another absolute classic from Jay and Joe. Thanks lads x

Nypan is a mainstay of the Rosenborg first team and a lifelong United fan. He played in the friendly against United in the summer and is showing huge promise but he’ll definitely not go for 84 M.
And if he goes to United, he'll probably go out on a loan. It's more like 10 m - which is still a lot.
And he looks like the highschool bully in a Scandinavian sci-fi/drama series on BBC
Kyle Walker is one the best signing City have ever done. His speed allows them to play so high up the pitch.

The way we get Davies is, we do it in January. Bayern would take our hand of for £20m. Just need to convince Davies
You get the feeling that Omar and co will do a better job selling the project rather than Ed and Joel
Davies has created this situation so that "he" gets a considerable fee, not Bayern.

2:20 😂😂😂 jay you are hilarious. What a classic from you and Joe yet again.. 👏👏
Been waiting years for a Lee Scratch Perry mention on Paddock
This episode had me in stitches
Former Vancouver Whitecap doing the city and country proud. This move would be dreamland for both sides.
Big up Medicine Hat
Would love if we got phonzie.

I like him, but that'd be 3 out of 4 of Bayern's backline and we'd have gotten most of the injury prone ones too.. needs to be looked into more
@ his injury record is concerning.
I hear this notion of taking injury prone players being OK as they can rotate fitness with our other injury prone players a lot. Davies, Mazraoui and De Ligt - pretty sure they've got hold of my football manager save
'One of the best in the world at receiving the ball off the keeper' is the funniest title I've ever heard anyone give a footballer 🤣
“Never played 30 league games in his career”. Remember bundesliga only has 34 league games in a season so 29 games is only missing 5 games
Allso wants to be a winger.....
They could have bought Sverre Nypan for £15-17.5m about a year ago and passed up on him. He’s quality and we need Roony as well.
I really do rate our backroom staff Omar will make a big surprise signing.
Joe ignoring the signing-on fee for Davies. The talk from Spain is they're worried United will give him a fortune. Plus Real might focus more on Trent on a free
He is the one person I would buy now
You can pay players bigger sign on fees than Madrid. You can pay a bigger salary. Utd can offer a gtd first team position unlike Madrid at the moment. I also wouldn’t underestimate the pulling power of Utd & the Prem, even if against Madrid.
Fun fact, the Canadian accent owes a lot to Scottish roots more than Geordie. There’s a wee moose en ma hoose
You two are fucking brilliant
Real Madrid need a RB more than a LB next season.. So Davies will struggle to start for Real but with United he's a starter 👌
Easy starter. Arguably the fastest left wingback in the world
Davies would be an amazing signing. If we don't go for gyokeres in the summer we should try for Jonathan David on a free for two very good canadian Internationals. Also I was thinking... 🤔 because Ruben Amorim has a good relationship with Pedro Porro maybe we could try for him in the summer for Right wing back.
nypan is 84m NOK. aka 8M EUR
Obviously it’s a game and definitely not the basis of signing a player but I buy Nypan for any team I’m managing on Football Manager. He becomes a world beating player. The difference is, he’s about £6m on the game which is much more realistic

Not sure about Branthwaite but i guess Maguire, Lindelof and Evans could all leave so we will need someone
How about Malacia out, Shaw to LCB, Davies in, Alvaro back, Amass out on loan, and forget Branthwaite? (just my two cents)
@scottsinner7530 I'd keep Shaw if not for his injury record so it's not about his position, He's a great LWB for the 5 games a season he's available
Gyokeres is on the same trajectory as haaland was at red bull. He looks like a guaranteed star
Except he's half a decade older.
40:25 joe what are you saying net negative? 😆😆 sporting have been way in the green with transfers in recent years
LADS SOUND WAS BIT KRUSTY , switch dolby sound off>
Can't get better than " take my Braith waite"
viktor gyökeres is Hungarian Swedish
Aha! I never thought that surname sounded Swedish, but didn't bother to look it up. Makes complete sense now.
And bang back down to earth with the dav-knees
The production team defend their actions.
i think luke shaw will be LCB
Alphonso Davies or Theo Hernandez are the dream.
Did Amorim tell you guys that he needs Davies. 😂
with davis, ww can try £20 mil in Jan and see if Bayern bite...assumung the player is keen
Interesting choice to make the presenters completely out of focus.
He would be terrible for Madrid, more strength is stability. They’re already over flooding with attackers.
Better to sign proven premier league players from smaller clubs. And only sign 1 or 2 big names.
Top gun of a pun!
Aha!. Yes I always suspected Jay is a swinger.
And dua lipa is mine
Joseph of Nazareth is his real name
Why can’t we use godwill from our academy he’s 16 6’5 and very very good centre back
He's a very, very good CB playing against kids. Just because he's huge (and somewhat skilled, and not exactly slow, true) doesn't mean he's ready for a top league.
@ so you would rather buy garbage for 50 mill to find out ohh he’s another harry maguire
@ and I never said he’s ready give him a chance he might prove u wrong since he’s young and hungry we haven’t learnt our lessons have we keep buying players overpaying and they do fuk all
Frimpong released clause in Jan
Alphonso for free in the summer
Branthwaite….. personally I think Van der Ven is a better option and probably cheaper
They would be a mint transfers but if we got gyokeres too that would be a perfect round of transfers for Ineos.
Puns way off it on this one
Do better
Luke Shaw,bye bye 👋
90 percent yap 10 percent news
90% entertainment, 10% rumor.
Jay sort your pants out mate

Branthwaite was s absolutely needed. We are building a big and fast team.
PE Teacher 😂
And you just said your woke. And I’m gone.
Unfollow!
