And another thing for me is that you cannot have your highest earner (rashford) coming off at 60 minutes every game! That is ludicrous! Like earn the right to play the full game or leave the club. Cause 300-350k for 60-120minutes per week is awful!

I'm a decorator. Just a normal person. But if someone spots a problem in my work, it offends me. Not because I can't handle it. But there is a way to say things. Everyone is different, but nobody likes to be put on the chopping board 3, 4, 5 times a day. Think about it. You will get reprisals somewhere down the line.
players arent good enough for 343, also 4231, 4321, 442, 451. they simply lack any football intelligence. out-antony, maguire, lindelof, casemiro, eriksen, zhirkzee, shaw, malacia, evans, rashford. squad players - dalot, garnacho, hjolund, mount, yoro (build him in during the season). we need a staring CB, LWB/LW, CM, CAM, ST to fit his system then judge
Rashford should be taking these games by the scruff of the neck regardless of being one of the premier league’s top earners, he’s had his chance since getting his new mega contract, get him gone already
I understand Ronnie saying “players have to sink or swim” but 1 of the things I think can drown a manager is the pressure at United when they can’t shift players as and when they want to for example and maybe end up being forced to use players they don’t want to who, perhaps aren’t good enough, but you still need to get results etc. The players are definitely the issue though, even the ones that are good enough simply lack work ethic or, the team as a whole does. You could clearly see that the Ipswich lads wanted it far more, putting their bodies on the line, straining to chase everything down and running their socks off! Thats a real issue and one of the worst things we need to weed outta them! That’s a big worry to me that was never a problem in the past.
Agree completely with your point but pre INEOS. The board structure was fully set in place this summer and they’ve shown no problem in getting rid of players that have been a problem at the club talent wise, the likes of McTominay, AWB etc, despite a large number of fans bemusingly fighting for them to stay. They’ve also shown the door to players like Martial and VDB who never even got on the pitch but no doubt would still be collecting a paycheque under the old regime. Not to mention, managing to get decent fees for younger players and also putting in smart buy back clauses, type of thing that was so normal and yet so unheard of at United, I would start to even question if it was actually a thing. INEOS have clearly shown that Amorim is their guy, shown by bringing him in mid season and paying the release clause for him, I sincerely doubt they won’t back him. IMO, they absolutely have to for the sole fact that it’ll make them look incredibly weak if they don’t, so even just for appearances sake. Don’t think we’ll have an issue with wanting to and being okay with letting even big name players go, likes of Rashford, etc. Think the problem creeps in with A) Finding them a club and B) Commanding a decent fee for them. That’s where they’ll have their work cut out and will have to prove their worth (in a bigger way than this past summer) come the end of the season.
We don’t have any players that could spur that on and excite players. We don’t have any good captains. Rashford called McGuire a t*at or something for a wrong ball, imagine his cringe reaction when McGuire is trying to rally them up lol
@@judeyy2x No, I agree completely with your summisation of how Ineos have so far operated regarding players in's/out's etc but I made the point about it being difficult to work with players you might not want to because it's inevitably helped clear ETH out now some of this player power and their ability to keep surviving managers despite them not working hard and other cliche's like that they get put to them.
I just hope this manager is honest with himself & his squad. By that i mean, "salaries mean nothing!" .. You want to play, you put in a shift in training and show the manager how much you care in matches. They are all more than capable players, the pace and commitment is what's missing. Throw in some fresh pacey legs from the reserves/18s, and just tell them to run to show their elders what is expected.
Interesting about mount and Maddison, I absolutely did not feel that way. I felt like honestly they’re very very different styles of 10s. Mount was always a bit weird for a 10. He never looked that flashy, but he was very effective. Maddison was tricks and flare.
Amorim had just 2 sessions with the team, then mostly with more than half the team away on international duty. Fans are way too impatient. Too fast to judge just on one game. Garnacho is still developing and should never been given so many games. In fact he should be taken from the firing line and given more time on the bench. But Casemiro and Eriksen should never be played together in the middle especially on away games. At least one younger faster, and more physical player like Ugarte or Mainoo should partner one of them.
Utd board needs to do everything within their power to protect Amorim from the media, player power, and fans as well. I saw some fans already getting on his back, just like the media.
My prediction is that unless we beat both Arsenal and City, Stevie Nicol and Craig Burley on ESPN will start calling for Amorim to be sacked and be saying that he won't last until the end of the season 😝🤣
I cannot wrap my mind around everybody losing theirs over one game. Amorim has been here for two weeks maximum, has had to spend most of that time doing endless press interviews, had most of the squad off on international duty, only met the actual first 11 players on the Friday, is trying to implement a new system - which we know often takes at least a few weeks, and please nobody mention Slot - he had an entire pre-season to get his system across to the players, not two weeks. Ipswich are not an easy game, as Spurs found out, and will cause more big teams problems throughout the seasons as they grow in confidence. They've mostly been together for two seasons, under one manager, playing the same system. Basically, if you expected Amorim to rock up to Ipswich this early and batter them, you're delusional. What we got was exactly what anybody with a brain expected - out of form players looking a bit confused at a new system they have only worked on for one week. At the very least, give the guy until January before passing any judgement. I've seen 'fans' unironically saying 'Should have kept Ruud' after one fucking game. Toxic, impatient idiots.
United need to sign two specialised wing backs. Fund move for new CF by selling both Rashford & Zirkzee. Casemiro & Eriksen will need to be replaced with younger legs. And 3 CB's are out of contract in the summer. Huge job on Amorim hands!
Most of these reactions don’t even warrant discussion. Feels like it’s just a massive void that needs filling with United and the media, when in truth - it was a pretty rudimentary first outing for the team getting to grips with a new system. Personally, I will be reserving judgment for a very long time as I feel, as things progress there will ultimately be some decisions made on big names and lot of uprooting to occur. Always felt there would be a complete revision required to make any sort of headway, just now we have a manager with a singular vision which, for me, is the right outlook to have. Hopefully things click soon and we can be excited by performances soon, but my expectations are well and truly in check for the time being. It is going to take time and I’m willing to be patient provided we’re still facing the right direction. Looking forward to the next few games now to see how things take shape.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but i think its time to move Rashford on. Seems like there’s been a bit of a change in him mentally since covid and all the critisism he got for doing stuff outside of football. Almost like he tries to ruffle a few feathers when he gets a chance like with the New york trip. I understand him, i’d probably do the same, but he might have lost that bit of desire needed to be his best.
You lot have been concentrating so much on city flopping, you've missed the fact Liverpool are strolling to their 20th. United getting relegated is the only thing worse than Liverpool winning their 20th. Ive been saying it for weeks
There's literally nothing we can do to stop Liverpool winning the title, apart from taking 3 points off them at the reverse fixture in January. What on earth is the point in thinking about it?
It's the lesser of two evils. If Liverpool don't step in and stop City's momentum this season, they could well have indefinitely won the league every season until they hit 20 themselves. I'd rather a historical pedigree club like Liverpool match the record than a plastic club like City. I was hoping Arsenal would do it, for this exact reason, but they've somehow blown it already.
In the modern game, the system and principles of play is more important than the formation. These so-called "Pundits" need to get their minds out of the 80s/90s era. City played 3 at the back during their centurion season.
To be fair , a lot of the meltdown has been within the fanbase. We need to stick together and support the manager and players against outside toxicity.
Gents could you PLEASE take that ridiculous floodlight off the set! Every time you cut to Ronny's single i had to look away to save my retinas from being burnt out. Sort it out PLEASE!
Im sorry but saying onana’s distribution is ‘phenomenal’ is the craziest statement iv heard in ages. He literally gives the ball away 8-9 times out of 10! What are u talking about. He’s made a few good saves and now he is the best keeper in the world? He is trash lets not beat around the bush. We wont win anything big with him in goal. Facts!
Rashford doesn't track back hes not a winger whos good enough to get a spot,he isn't a striker, has to be sold amorim needs money sell him, shaw always injured sell, anthony he gets another chance as does garnacho of they dont improve sell theres the cash.
Whether the system is 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 or whatever. I wouldn't be happy with a midfield two of Eriksen and Case. I think this showed when Ugarte came on. These pundits are shite !!!
@@mikemorrow2184I don't believe they have, hate to say it I think Bruno/Ugarte has the most potential in this system, with Bruno as a box to box and Maino in the 10. This solves a few problems, Bruno has a better engine and we can capitalise on his creativity in the attacking phase. Mainoo is press resistant and can operate in the tight spaces. Pressing my be a bit of an issue but he's no worse than Zirkzee in this respect
I think it’s do or die with Garnacho unfortunately. Either adapt to a new role of he’ll be sold. Our success levels by that time will define how we feel about it.
Imagine giving players 300k still. If rash lost his pace and continues with this form, we won’t be able to cash in on him and he will only hold us back
If we weren't getting bullied off the ball we were getting out paced especially in midfield. A rough tot up on games left we have a possible 45 to 55 points to earn to the end of the season. This is loosing to the top 8 teams and maybe a win or draw. 10th to 5th as a prediction.
Please don’t let these agenda driven pundits who have always been bitter about Man Utd throw another coach under the bus. These platforms have the clout to run these agendas out and show the fan base supports the manager 100%
Totally agree. I'm not sure if they'll ever learn or admit it, but Utd fans made a huge mistake sending off EtH with £17m of their money. He'll be back in about 24 months with his new club and beat RA again... like he's already done twice!
Yeah, right! He was so great that Spurs rejected him. Bayern rejected him even though he had been their B team coach. No big club went anywhere near, offering him a job.
Rashford is done for. Everyone can see it. He is not happy either with his football or his personal life or both. He needs to leave united to save his career. I think amorim will bin him off asap if he can. If the powers that be will let him that is. Marcus isnt gonna respond to this challenge, he just isnt. And the sooner he leaves the better. For him. But for me as a liverpool fan i hope he stays and continues to be a liability…
There’s an expectation from the Top (Sir Jim) to find that new young player thats going to be the next Ronaldo etc. Then they are overplayed to try and force the talent through in a hope they can fill the boots of more expensive experienced players the club does not want to to buy.
Can't see Rashford or Garnacho ever fitting in to this system. "We need the new manager and hierarchy to be ruthless!" "You can't sell Garnacho!! You can't sell rashford!" Fans are proper mental.🤦🏻♂️😂

Rashford and Nathan Redmond
Interesting about mount and Maddison, I absolutely did not feel that way. I felt like honestly they’re very very different styles of 10s. Mount was always a bit weird for a 10. He never looked that flashy, but he was very effective. Maddison was tricks and flare.
Someone should make a compilation of Jay saying this is the season Rashford needs to prove himself 😂
Rashford, shaw, garnacho, anthony, sancho, casimero, if no improvement, mcguire, lindelof, eriksonn going anyway.
Jay's rant about Southampton might be one of the best things in the channel's history
Ideally a midfield pairing of Mainoo and Urgate is the way forward. As great as Erikson is, he just hasn’t got the legs anymore
That's 100% gonna be it. 1 just back from injury one late back cause plays in south America. Soon!
If Rashford & Garnacho can't work in Amorim's system....so be it, move them on
Utd board needs to do everything within their power to protect Amorim from the media, player power, and fans as well. I saw some fans already getting on his back, just like the media.
Amorim is correct to limit media requests. The club needs to change and that's gotta start somewhere
Amad has to play as a 10. It doesn’t matter if he’s better than other players at RWB. He’s the only forward player who can make things happen.
My prediction is that unless we beat both Arsenal and City, Stevie Nicol and Craig Burley on ESPN will start calling for Amorim to be sacked and be saying that he won't last until the end of the season 😝🤣
HE JUST WANTS TO FOCUS ON THE TEAM INSTEAD OF M.S.M
Jay killed me with his... "fuckin'ell knowledge!"
How come all these pundits are not managers 😂
Before he joined Chelsea, Neto and Podence were a single entity in my mind
Rashford has been dropping 5 out of 10’s for 18 plus months now… doesn’t matter if he’s in the 9, LW or RW times up.
One for the list of players that are basically the same: Papiss Cisse & Dembe Ba
Rashfords Jet lagged legs are still earning 15.6 million by 2028
You lot have been concentrating so much on city flopping, you've missed the fact Liverpool are strolling to their 20th. United getting relegated is the only thing worse than Liverpool winning their 20th. Ive been saying it for weeks
Like ok?
Because the whole club is in the shitter and some of you are more worried about whether L'pool wins the title or not.
There's literally nothing we can do to stop Liverpool winning the title, apart from taking 3 points off them at the reverse fixture in January.
What on earth is the point in thinking about it?
We could also give Arsenal and City 3 points I'm the upcoming fixtures to help them 😜😂😂
It's the lesser of two evils.
All of Brentford's midfielders followed by the Jamie Redknapp 'what's wrong with him' 😂 - Ronaldo on it this ep.
13:50 spot on, doing media is not the job
Recent results suggest Ipswich are better than City.
This new manager already knows that most of these players are not the grade.
Garnacho killed our game yesterday
Even 40-50m for rashford plus his 300k per week wages and he is a academy product (pure profit) could be huge for psr
Whether the system is 3-4-3 or 4-3-3 or whatever. I wouldn't be happy with a midfield two of Eriksen and Case. I think this showed when Ugarte came on. These pundits are shite !!!
Mainoo and Ugarte is our best midfield but unfortunately Mainoo got injured
Mainoo and Ugarte isn’t a top midfield either.
@@bengreenbankI think it should be ugarte and Bruno and mainoo sub
@@bengreenbank just out of interest. Genuine question. Have they played together ?
@@mikemorrow2184I don't believe they have, hate to say it I think Bruno/Ugarte has the most potential in this system, with Bruno as a box to box and Maino in the 10. This solves a few problems, Bruno has a better engine and we can capitalise on his creativity in the attacking phase. Mainoo is press resistant and can operate in the tight spaces. Pressing my be a bit of an issue but he's no worse than Zirkzee in this respect
Ronaldo speaking so much sense again.
I think it’s do or die with Garnacho unfortunately. Either adapt to a new role of he’ll be sold. Our success levels by that time will define how we feel about it.
Imagine giving players 300k still. If rash lost his pace and continues with this form, we won’t be able to cash in on him and he will only hold us back
If garna wants that Real move, he better buckle up
Go to Mulligans - Best pint of Guinness outside of Ireland! 🇮🇪
I'm sure Erikson could have passed / crossed the ball to Rashy twice and he could've scored.
Rashford is done, he played loads injured when young and has last a yard of pace.
I'd look to sell if you can and make some money
Kebana > This and That.
I still think ten hag is a better tactician than Amorim.
Should’ve showed it more in the last
18 months
He did, you just missed it because you get your opinions from YT pundits and comment sections. @@qfnoyvoy6353
@@hooksx stfu, ETH had already taken ajax to champions league semis when he faced Amorim in his second year at Sporting. Shit takes
10 years is not one match
There’s an expectation from the Top (Sir Jim) to find that new young player thats going to be the next Ronaldo etc. Then they are overplayed to try and force the talent through in a hope they can fill the boots of more expensive experienced players the club does not want to to buy.
Picking arsenal for them reasons as a man utd fan is hilarious, give him the contact and let him pick the numbers or we are back....
David Silva and Bernardo Silva
Pundits slating united but they won’t mention Citehs run of losses.
Can't see Rashford or Garnacho ever fitting in to this system. "We need the new manager and hierarchy to be ruthless!" "You can't sell Garnacho!! You can't sell rashford!" Fans are proper mental.🤦🏻♂️😂
Garnacho IS NOT good enough to be a starter idc what anyone says
Angel Gomes & Raheem Sterling
Can’t blame the media when you guys are doing the same. I’ve seen endless unnecessary rashford videos smh
Ronaldo is arguably the 3rd best player of all time
Some of the players don’t care. U dont feck off to the states for a holiday when u aren’t good enuff to get into ur national squad or - often - the United team. U keep ur head down and work on if u care.
Was a boring game but he hasnt had enough sessions with everyone fully fit
Lers be honest the team is shambles. Spin it whichever way you want the team is so poor
All the pundits who slag them off have never managed but know it all. Murphy is just another ABU. On Talkshite who he fits the bill on.. like the rest on it..
Since when does anyone take notice of danny murphy , seriously his possibly the worst pundit out there
Souček and Coufal = same person
Most expensive assembled team ever that is totally average 😅
Elon got loads of weed farms too
iam calling it now and iam not basing it of one game more a feeling i had before the game but ruben will not be the one and be gone after 2 seasons i really want to be wrong but i think his style wont suit united or the prem just something about it all he is already moaning about doing all the interviews which could be an early sign that the club is too big for him i really really hope iam wrong honest but he seems soft think the media and players and rivals will walk all over him again i pray iam wrong
