Gorman’s offense literally destroyed central’s defense. Not punting was a terrible decision, but you can’t allow 39 points as a defense and say it was on coaching because of one bad decision
@@hewjlqnsd7954 It was a back and forth game. Neither team could stop each other. But w/ about a min left you punt the ball and make them go the length of the field. Especially when the FG is not going to win you the game regardless.
@@derrickcrumpton3165frankly, even besides the fact that I doubt Gorman wouldn’t have driven down the field with ease like they did all game, I know not punting was a terrible decision, but that one decision isn’t a bigger reason as to why they lost than Central’s defense
@@hewjlqnsd7954 Lol I can tell yall don't play ball. They literally won in the final seconds of the game. How many seconds were on the clock, maybe 15-30 seconds. If they start that drive inside their own 20, add a couple plays that's more time off the clock. They probably don't even get down to your goal line. Time is your friend in this scenario, even more so that they couldn't stop them the whole game! Any coach worth his salt knows that, punt the ball, make them go the length of the field. Id rather my defense that hasn't stopped them all game defend 80 yards or more not 50 or less.
Only difference was coaching down the stretch. Poor game and clock management by Central. They were in position to win that game
Like 2021 😭😭 we had them, I just hope in the future next year or during the offseason The coaches could get together and try to figure out their plans for "down to the wire situations"

@@bootedupja2302 I get you but Gorman defense is young and starts a ton of freshman’s and sophomore’s. There offense is what Carries them but the defense was able to stop central late in the game. Central haves a lot of recruits also, it’s just the west coast teams are just better overall.
That es why Miami Central did not face top rank out of State teams last year

Not impressed with Gorman. Miami-Central is a public high school with an enrollment of 1396 students. Should've won by fawty.
Gorman has only 1500 students cause expensive to get in and your poor public school team had 3 players from Los alimitos in Cali, a top player from Dallas and 3 other blue chips from other schools in Miami area Dillard, Killian and Norlin
Size (gorman) vs speed (central). Of course Central is ranked #10 in the state of Florida though.

Iam a Florida native and follow hs football, but right now the west is running shit the bishop Gorman, mater dei and st John Bosco, the west always had speed but was not physical on the line but now all of them above got big and physical and conditions to keep up with Florida schools
All private schools that recruit the whole nation Miami Central n other miami schools got local talent

??? Have you lived in the West Coast and watch the games in-person? The west DO have physical linemen. Look at how many Polynesians are there globally and the percentage who make it to play DI and the NFL. (I've lived on both coast as well as the midwest and abroad and watch the games in-person)
Playing against an Elite Private School, even with some bad play calling we still competed better than Long Beach Poly (Cali Program ) they lost miserably 60-15 lol I hope Centennial can compete with Bishop Gorman... y'all funny because all yall really got is Mater Dei and St John Bosco that's all yall talk about and of course yall "little brother" Bishop Gorman lol
