I used to listen to this song often and cry my eyes out. I was probably only 10 or 12 but Seventeen Again had such an impact on me. It was just a great movie, with two talented african-american actress and countless other black actors carrying it. The song alone signifies how different the movies back then were. A song like this would never play on a movie on Disney. I still love it though and it still brings tears to my eyes, years and years later.
