    I’m surprised you didn’t talk about his stance, it’s wide and low, it can slow you down at some points but you can avoid tons of throws with it.

    yeah, as a left-handed fighter myself, I typically have a much easier time changing sides than my right-handed peers

      His stance is just representative of what throws he wants to do. He isn’t really trying to disguise it lol

    He lost his explosiveness probabily because of injuries since 2021. He was never strong on the kumi kata and has always fought bended and not straight. When he was a kid he had a beautiful uchimata, pity. He has a terrible newaza for an elite judoka.
