The struggle with this is real, I'm sure women do get this but I think men suffer the most with this (sexual temptation and lust). What makes it worse for me is my wife had cervical cancer about 7 years ago and had a full hysterectomy, so yeah sex drive ended ....and sex ended. I struggled with porn over the years but completely eliminated it a few years back. But it does not take much to fall back into lust or temptation, (to start having the dreams again, or lustful thoughts throughout the day) I mean I had to cut out shows on Netflix or be careful what movies I watch, for example wife was watching a TV series Reign and it seemed harmless enough I tried to watch it with her and couldn't even handle the pack of hot women with low cut dresses it was just too much. Told the wife nah just don't like it lol. It's brutal at work, surrounded with hot women 40 hours a week, I mean I have trained myself to look at the floor when I walk around. Maybe some think this is crazy but its a very real war when you want to "If you love me you will follow my commandments" I feel like I am an alcoholic that sits in a bar all day and has to fight not taking a drink. Or an gambler that sits in Vegas and has to fight not going to the slot machine. We are surrounded by a sexual culture its just everywhere, Jesus suffered for me, I will suffer with him and fight it.
Yeah Bro and I thought only I suffered that I guess it’s a male thing look but sin not I mean can it really be overcome think it goes back to our childhood just letting u know your not alone, my rubber neck needs to be bound and need to put horse blinkers on my eyes. I have tended to notice that sexual dreams occur more regularly when I have been taking in media with sexual content or jokes in them (tv, movies, music, etc). There are certain shows that I’ve stopped watching and I rarely have those dreams now. Just wanted to provide a helpful suggestion!
Certain artists I’ve had to stop listening too... people think music can’t cause you to behave a certain way; without realising that music feeds the flesh much like the Bible feeds the spirit

Science has even said for some music has become as addictive as a drug, if that's the case can a drug make someone act a certain way? Look at it this way, how many rappers are dying due to drug addiction? And most of this drug addiction is caused by them hearing about it from another rapper and then they go ahead and try it... I'm not making this up look it up, rapper have admitted this is how they were introduced to xanix, lean and other drugs... It's the same way when rock and roll was built on sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll... People were literally doing this back then and still are now.

Day before yesterday I was fasting,and the previous night I had sexual dreams,Satan was trying to stop my fasting by making me guilty,I woke up and immediately started praying,my fasting prayer was meaningful.thank u lord.
I usually have these dreams after fasting as well. It is a weapon for sure. Once you understand this for what it is, you can walk in victory. Reject the dream and glorify God. Learn to worship Him when these dreams happen and the enemy will flee.
omg like me i had a wet dream when going into the third day of fasting. And there was a little thought in my head that I should stop fasting and go grab some nuts.
I wanted to share a little part of my experience. As a 32 year old male, I’ve had all the temptations that a man can have and years of guilt/shame. I’m a born again, and again and again Christian... But it wasn’t a light switch transformation. It’s like a pyramid of spiritual growth. I’m sure I will fail again sometime in the future with something but I’m not who I was. This year is a NEW YEAR that I’m committing to the Christ. The scariest thing that the Bible spoke to me was that the Lord gave them over to their desires... YOU have to make physical and mental and spiritual changes. You need to make thousands of small yet intentional changes- BC I too would pray everyday day and before every occurrence “take this temptation away from me” but I would still fail. I wanted the sin more than God and it was vanity. It’s an amazing feeling to wake up everyday for 2 weeks without that hunger. I feel free!! Im not naïve to think I won’t be tempered again but my prayer was answered to give me some relief. So, to anyone who can relate- Keep Fighting! Especially if you’re married. Confess to your spouse and pray together. She is not your play toy, she is your wife; Love her. In return, she will respect you. Confess openly, repent, change. Keep changing. Keep growing.
I highly recommend reading The Almost Christian by Matthew Mead. Its a VERY sobering read but neccessary. Have your bible next you as you read it because you will want to examine it in light of scripture. Also listen to Paul Washers sermon " Do You Bear Fruit". Wilson Waigwa - I have one m8. I confessed to her and it was tough. A lot of women don’t understand what men go through. Mine was able to forgive me and what a relief. Praise God if you never experienced the starvation of more images even after a physical session. For some of us, you can’t get enough and every time you’re watching the boat sink faster and faster. It’s horrible! I have a new respect / love for anyone on drugs or anything addictive. This is for single men too: you’re cheating on your future wife... If the love I felt from my wife after she forgave me is even a 1/10000000 of what Christ has done for me- oh what a Glorious Day when I can fully understand it!
Women also fall victim to these dreams. For me, when I’m going through a particular spark in hormones (pregnant/PP). It is definitely humbling as I am prone to think I can’t be tempted like that, but I am. I hate these dream and agree with Pastor Piper that we should pray and of corse not act upon them in waking hours. This video was quite encouraging. Please pray for me as I’ve had a hard time admitting this to anyone.. It feels very shameful.
Repenting to God in all honesty and brokenness, asking Him to take it away also helps. He freed me after my repentance. And, I got to know about the sin(it was hidden in me), during a fast. So, fasting and prayer really help. Also, Jesus already overcame the world for us. You shall overcome, dear Sister. You'll be free from all those dreams. Present them to Jesus. Nothing is too hard for God.
I find that with a lot of repentance and prayer and strong will to do things God's way, the old sinful pattern in my dreams gets either interrupted, I have more lucid control, or it even starts out right - e.g. seeking out the spouse/dreaming of sexual relations and its clearly with the spouse.

I'm not a dreamer. It wasn't until I started fasting that I got attacked with sexual dreams. You definitely have to keep praying and confessing the word to protect your spirit.
There is hope. After struggling with porn for over 25 years, I had a complete change of affection and, for the first time, put God at the center of my life. Take the small temptations captive, and the big ones will slowly become smaller over time. As I detoxed from all porn, the dreams slowed down and then eventually stopped. So take heart as you cleanse your mind and soul from the filth that is porn your dreams will change.
Porn destroyed my life, I used it to escape the pain and sadness from my childhood. When I stopped it all came back, but these wet dreams, I swear man there is some evil shit going on at night. It feels like some succubus is invading me when I get these dreams. All I can do is pray and spread the truth.

Yikes! Those kind of dreams are frightening--they're nightmares & torment. I pray for protection while asleep. It's as though demons are trying to convince you you're a lost cause even when you're living a pure and innocent life in God's grace and power!
I've never had a sexual dream but I have had cases where I'm dreaming and then wake up and find out that I've ejaculated, but I know that I didn't sin then because I was asleep at that time.
I’m a 34yo woman and I have these dreams too. They usually occur around the time I’m ovulating. I think that hormones have a lot to do with it but I dislike these dreams as well. I pray to God to keep these dreams/nightmares from happening. I must say that I’m happily married for 10 years and I desire my husband only. I lust after no one!
Yes, this is true! Hormones and biology have a lot to do with this for some people. We have to remember that the devil is the accuser of the brethren. Worry and guilt is designed to oppress us. You may not be able to control your biology or your dreams, but you *can* refuse to be oppressed by them.
Petal Blossom I’m definitely not oppressed. I just prefer to be awake and alert when I have sex. In your dreams, you have no control therefore there’s no consent either. I believe in incubus and succubus spirits and they’re not welcome.

I'm simply saying that, just like the speaker in the video said, some dreams happen because of hormonal changes in the body, which can be very normal albeit an unwelcome experience. In those instances, it's best to just pray and not become overwhelmed with guilt and shame.

Thank you so much for serving God's people and posting these videos. I thank God for you and all those in your ministry, and praise the Lord our God for providing such mercy and tender care. I have suffered for countless years on end with sexual nightmares - rape, incest, adultery and all manner of perversion. It puts me into a spiral of deep depression and anxiety because it occurs nearly every week and consumes my mind with guilt and shame that just won't shift. For years i've blamed myself as being too dirty and just accepted that i won't be delivered. It's affected how i see myself and others, and interfered with my sense of identity in Christ. I've been too ashamed to ask my church to pray for me about it because i don't want to burden them with something so disturbing, but after listening to this video i will ask them for prayer. When i have these nightmares i isolate myself because i keep thinking people can see how dirty i am, so i sleep more to escape the pain, watch countless hours of netflix to escape all the haunting feelings and thoughts, not realising these things feed the vicious cycle. This video has given me hope for change and now i can repent with confidence that my Saviour is faithful to heal and deliver me. You have lifted up my weak and weary soul to persevere in this trial and continue the race. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏

Those are definitely great things to do and would help a lot but that's not the simple solution to stop having sexual dreams. It's a spiritual battle. Demons are trying to tempt us through dreams because they know we can't control them and it affects the way we think

Personally I've found that we are in spiritual warfare even in our sleep. I've tried listening to scripture with my earphones in and it's so effective I will dream about scripture. Battling Satan in my sleep has been very effective.

Amen! This helps me to realize alot. I just woke up by my sexual sin and I was so guilty about it I felt disgusted. To be honest after I dreamed about it I kneel down and pray to the Lord for my dream is so worse! I thank God that I found this, and made me realize that maybe that dream just wants to test me if I will fall for that trap. Or that dream wants me to realize that sexual pleasure can't satisfy me. I used to have the same kind of dreams as a baby Christian. After waking up I would feel very guilty and would ask God daily to forgive me. One day while reading a Tommy Tenney book I came across a passage which mentioned many sins and the sexual dream was one of them. I immediately started to ask God to forgive me all over again and could never get to the point of knowing or sensing his forgiveness. However the best thing happened to me right after; God spoke to me and said “The sacrifice of the Son of man is greater than your sin” wow! Wow wow. It’s all I needed to know yet I did not understand fully till after a few years of reading the Bible and relating with the Holy Spirit. Did I had those kind of dreams again? Yes but I won’t let it condemn and acuse me. I just take it as a sign to let me know that adjustments needs to be taken as far as what I’m feeding my soul. Can’t remember the last time I had that kind of dream, however I pray the Holy Spirit protects me tonight. Amen God bless you.

There's something I did about this myself a long time ago, I started praying before I went to bed that god would protect me from sexual dreams, and cover and bless myself mind, body and soul with the blood of Jesus Christ, bind and cast out all sin and evil that has entered me throughout the day. It goes away until I start falling into sin again.

I have learned that we often dream out of our sub conscious, memories reveal themselves in action and repressed feelings take form presenting themselves for processing.
I do agree that most dreams are from our subconscious, however, they are not based on your memories. I know scientists say that dreams are just the brain processing the events of the previous day, but my dreams never have any (even if you try to make them analogous) similarity to past events. A lot of "dream interpretations" are also kind of stupid like "a dream of you being chased by something means you're trying to avoid a problem." Most of the people that use those examples are atheists, but this is our subconscious we're talking about. If it was a short film then the artist could possibly use metaphors like that, but your subconscious is not going to create artistic metaphors, especially if you don't consciously know what it means.
@@Madmonkeman the memories I speak of are not conscious they are more like remembered feelings recorded and or buried in sub conscious, things picked up during the day that you would not of noticed. In my case I study myself and dreams in great depth to discern what is within me and so it is all experiencial, Also it is your spirit that interprets what is presented from the subconscious also known as the heart not the sub conscious forming any metaphor. This is different all together when dealing with spiritual dreams akin to visions which ironically are recievd with a high level of consciousness. As for experts well who are they? As you definitely need faith to explain the things touching on the spiritual nature as you wouldn't believe those things exist.

In my own experience, most of those dreams are spiritual attacks. I could saw myself fighting against this inside of the dream, suffering, and praying in the dream! Once I cryed out to God inside of the dream and it stopped and i woke up. Have a life of prayer has set me free from this.
Prayers and fasting is also very useful as Jesus said, ask the Lord to make every evil covenant, altar, throne, contract and device of the enemy in the spirit and dream world null and void and to utterly consume them with his consuming fire and to destroy all evil entity, demon, fallen angel and evil spirit associated with these attacks. This is for those who are having sexual attacks, cross dressing attacks, lust, masturbation attacks in their dreams, these dreams also have ability to take us to Hell of we don't prayer against it and ask God to deliver us from it as these are based in evil covenant and altar which have been set up through our sin..
I'm a happily divorced woman, have been celibate for seven years now, but every now & then I wake up in the middle of the night, because my whole body is shaking, and I can tell "something" , "someone" just had "sex" with me...it's extremely scary, and I pray to the LORD He will forgive me, and protect/cover me with His soul saving blood!
Hold fast brother in Christ. We can’t control our dreams. You are not acting on these dreams so that’s good. I love all the tips that were given. Thank you this has been something that at times I struggle with .
We can control them honestly by God's grace for he has given me the ability to say no in the dream but I have said no and failed at times trust in God. Is anything too hard for Him.

I seem to have many dreams that are spiritual, and so I find myself constantly asking God, “what did that one mean?” Thank you and God bless! Praise God for Pastor John's resources, man..... For YEARS I've viewed my dreams as a spiritual training ground..... (and that's the nutshell version) and Piper totally validated all my prior feeling towards sin trying to get at me through my sleeping self. God's love is truly mind blowing.... my prayers for those struggling, as well as myself in forever finding, feeling, and understanding of God's undying and endless love. It's unbelievable how much is constantly going on "behind the curtain"... I feel that our subconscious is a huge unspoken part of our soul..... and our dream realm is very much a place where our subconscious has a ton of control.. You can find out a lot about yourself by the choices you make in your dreams.

Im celebate for 3 years now. I was lost in drugs, fornication and selfishness. I got clean and decided to be celebate so I could focus on my relationship with God. I hope to be married again one day but until then my body is Gods only. I used to struggle with these kind of dreams and lonliness but I learned to give it to God.
I’ve had dreams that were from God, and I have dreams that were from demons and allowed by God. I dreamed every night over and over about drugs or sex and what it did was serve to make me abhor sin even more than ever. And when I wake up realize just how much of a new creature I really am. When my thoughts and feelings about it were entirely different than what the dream represented.
I used to have nightmares of being raped against my will by a very ugly demon but the minute I stopped smoking weed they stopped instantly, I’m a Christian and always have been and have devoted my life to Christ the last cpl years but struggled smoking weed, I then started praying for the desire to quit weed and through the holy spirit, I did so the dreams stopped! Also I was watching Joseph prince one morning and he had mentioned nightmares and bad dreams and to bind them in the name of Jesus immediately after waking up which is essential for someone like me because I’m very sensitive to my dreams and the feelings I get from them are extremely oppressive and sometimes keep me depressed all day 😢 and I cannot forget any dream I have, I still remember dreams from wen I was 4 years old! I like the way P.John started out with "I don't know why this is happening" Too many times, I have or have heard others give 'Pat Answers' without having the fear of God. Like the practical tips too about not watching any movies with sex scenes and reading bible scripture just before bed.
It is only when we strengthen our spiritual life that we can be freed from the lust of the flesh.The more we cling to God..the stronger we become in overcoming the lust of the flesh.
For me you must be selective on what you allow to inter your mind.If during the day you have self control over your lustful/sexual thoughts than you should be able to rebuke it in your sleep thats my experience.Mind you the enemy doesn’t change his tricks.You are what you are during the day,in your sleep too.So if your strong minded during the day you should be able to defend yourself by Calling out to Jesus.Thats my experience,obviously its a process which includes daily devotion to Godliness,being selective on what comes in my mind,and prayer Asking God to help you.

I was a victim of sexual sin in my dreams for a long time. I had no intentions of cheating on my wife, and tried to live a godly lifestyle as a Christian. But the dreams were coming fast and furious. Then I was determine to get to the bottom of the matter. After much prayer and agonizing with God He led me to book which gave the reason why Satan is able to tamper with the Christian. It said unconfessed sins in the life of the Christian allows Satan to have access to them. After learning that I examined my self and made some tough decisions. And praise God the dreams stopped. If ever it happens again I now know why. I hope my testimony will help someone as they walk in God's footsteps.

Im watching this because I dreamed all night of not sex with anyone but just touching myself , I woke up actually feeling very lonely, I'm 41 and separated. I probably won't " know "a man ever again this life or have a chance to experience a loving marriage in this life . Since then I have seen transformation I had just woken from a dream where even though I ddnt go the whole way I was falling to it and the result ended up the same. Waking up immediately after I had a stint of guilt wishing I had woken up befor so I could control myself and move away from what ever attack/temptation coming upon me. I’m single and celibate since I ended my relationship almost a year ago. I keep getting attacked in dreams. It’s not only men. It’s also women messing with me sexually in dreams and I feel disgusted when I wake up. It’s like an outer body experience. I see myself with these people but I’m with them in sexual acts. I have woken up feeling aroused. I was thinking maybe because I’m single and I miss being intimate. But I don’t think about sex and it keeps happening.
Could some of the bad dreams be possibly fueled by bad food? Fried food, burgers, French fries, pizza etc? I notice, it seems like sometimes I question whether or not I should stay away from these types of foods as a Christian. It’s just so easy to go somewhere, grab something for lunch in a drive thru and head back to work. Are these foods an abomination to the Lord? It seems like when I get into a string of eating these things, nightmares are a little more frequent. Maybe God didn’t want us eating crap like that because it messes with our hormones somehow and He knew it wouldn’t be good for us. Just tossing this out there to see what y’all might think. Any comments from brothers and sisters in Christ is much appreciated. Prayin for y’all ✝️🙏
It could also just be your flesh acting out on you because when your sleeping you have no control instead of being awake in life and are killing sin when you have control

28 yo, never had sex, never been kissed, never been hugged. Lots of family issues, having to focus on my studies and only meeting already taken girls behind it. For the first time in my life, i dreamt all of these things, and around/on my 28th birthday. The sex dream was nothing but passionate sex, no details to it, just feeling in the right place at the right moment, random girl. The making out dream started with me doing my usual everyday stuff (talking through my ham radio, taking care of random things my family is often quarreling about etc.) then it ended with another random girl asking me to kiss her. A French kiss, like the ones i'm always watching couples do while doing my everyday job (deliveryman), ensued right away. Hope all of this means i'm about to finally experience my first non-unrequited love. Hope it's God's way of telling me nothing but "Your time has come to experience what love is, child".
This a,so happens with women too may the Lord help us when we have these dreams and after we wake. It is a huge temptation and even though I have failed. I repent and continue to look to, my Lord and ask him to forgive me and help me to turn away from those temptations and grow in my faith and obedience
Your dreams are the reportings of your soul of the activities of your spirit man in the spiritual realm. Plead the shed blood of Jesus Christ to close and seal those doors...yes, visualize it as much as you can. 3. During this fast and afterwards, abstain from any avenue for these sins. Pray daily for power to overcome the enemy's hold on your life. Ask for a new spirit to walk in a new direction in your life...a direction far away from that prison and never look back. 4. The devil will throw all his arsenal at you just before his hold is completely off, stand your ground. Sorry, but your answer sounds very simplistic and legalistic. I can't believe it got so many likes! Of course, some people are spirituality oppressed and tormented in their dreams. But your answer is not balanced because *not every sexual dream has a demonic source.* Sometimes they happen merely because the brain is rehashing things we've seen, thought or done. This is a neurological function, not demonic. The ongoing process of sanctification and renewal of the mind in the process of salvation will help us to overcome that over time. *There is no magical one-time fast that is going to take that away.* Other times, our dreams are born of hormonal changes. In these cases, we pray for God's grace and we reject any immoral sexual ideas. But we also accept that we cannot take ownership of dreams that occur against our will. Dreams serve a spiritual AND neurological function and NOBODY can take full control over their dreams. You shouldn't give advice which suggests that.
@@petalblossom96 well to be fair, if you are trying to walk the narrow path of righteousness with Christ then this is actually good advice if you struggle with sexually immoral dreams. Yes, maybe not all sexual dreams are of demonic interference or influence. However you most likely are having these dreams for a reason and it's a good idea to strengthen your faith. If it was a sex dream with your spouse then no shame obviously. Other than that you should repent and ask God for help to end these dreams so that you don't end up having lustful thoughts throughout the day. God knows our thoughts and looking at someone with lust is committing adultry in our hearts. So it's best if we avoid sinning in our waking moments by trying to rebuke sin in our dreams. Through Christ all things are possible. In having a christlike mind our subconscious shouldn't be having these dreams because you desire only what is good. These sexual dreams CAN be stopped. Chances are you have been exposed to something you shouldn't have so be cautious of that you choose to watch, read, and listen to.

Satan always a Texas and a week is sometimes I just during sleep, familiar spirits look to exploit our weaknesses, be vigilant of what you condone in ( especially entertainment movies music) who you hang around Etc. I tend to not remember my dreams very often, however, when I do remember them, they are very strange. I asked my pastor if I could talk about my dreams with him and he kinda brushed me off. IDK what my dreams mean, but they are weirder than anyone else in my family. I would appreciate any advice on this from anyone.

I know for one thing i have seen time and again, the devil is always trying to make people believe that there is some other way to reach God other than scriptures,prayer,fasting and repentance. They make up elaborate ways that we are to think of things vs the plan he has layed out for us. Maby you are just longing to be closer to God and making it to hard. Your enemy gonna attack you every day just like dark thoughts and sexual dreams. I know how to get rid of dark thoughts. Just create a bin in your mind and as soon as the dark thoughts come, put it in the bin and focus on the Lord. Don't even think about it. I ask the lord about the sexual dream, and each time you gonna have a sexual dream, the holy spirit will wake you up. Just pray to the Lord to remove all these wicked images in your mind and you will see, it gonna disappear very fast. That's why it is important to keep your focus on the lord every day. what the enemy is trying to do, is that he want to put dark thoughts and wicked images in your mind to make you sin. That's why don't let these dark thoughts and wicked images stay in your mind or else you will realize that the lust of the flesh will start to grow slowly and finally you will stumble.
I've had these sex dreams also and I've had dreams of doing drugs or smoking cigarettes. I used to be addicted to pot and cigarettes. Not anymore thanks to God. Pay attention to the contents of the dreams as God may be trying to warn you or alert you about something. And honestly, pray hard.

These happen to me, even if I pray for protection. What I have noticed is, my dreams will tend in a sexual direction if I have not been intentional to soak in the Truth all day. If I choose entertainment and empty things all day, it leaves me open to sexual dreams. God may be merciful to answer my prayers for protection, but He is not obligated to save me from the consequences of my own foolish actions throughout the day. Not guarding the eyes, the mind, and the ears through the day will likely have consequences in the night.

I'm a single guy buy I've been having these dreams ever since I've been doing what I can to stop watching porn/masturbation/lust im going through a HUGE spiritual warfare first one I had after days of not doing anything was strangely of my cousin and I could feel the demonic presence of my "cousin" as if it just took her form, second was of a really no offence but just a really really unattractive lady I could feel and know it was a demon, the third one i just had was of my ex who yes I fornicated with and was in deep sin with but but I broke it off to follow christ months back and it was weird because I felt her presence not a demon but I I beilive it could have been, to try and confuse me, I realized I don't like these dreams i dont want them i prayed for protection from these dreams last night but still got this one it could be a test idk but it makes it harder and more stressful for me spiritual warfare really is no joke ugh
When you turn away from sin and turn to God, the enemy hates it and attacks you. For you it sounds like it's being done through perverted dreams. It can be a test to see what you will do. How faithful you are. Will you fight the temptation or will you run to it. That is my understanding of what is occurring. When I first turned to God, I had sleep paralysis for a week, it was terrible. But through faith and the strength of the lord, I didn't run back to my old ways and the lord delivered me from these demonic attacks during my sleep. Later on, I was having crazy dreams. I belive they were attacks. I am still learning about all this during my journey but I know for sure when we initially give our life to God, we will definitely be attacked. After deliverance, times of testing come again. But everytime we abstain from sin, we grow stronger in our faith. I hope this helps. Keep fighting the good fight my friend.

When I get a chance I will watch the video, but I caution you to test the spirits and pray to God to see if what you received is indeed true. Every person God used in the bible sinned, not one of them was perfect. Noah, who was found to be righteous in God's eyes sinned by getting drunk. David murdered a man and had sex with that man's wife. We all fall short of God's glory which is why we all need Jesus to be redeemed and justified by God. Even after salvation, it is absolutely possible to sin because the flesh and spirit war against each other and we must fight the flesh everyday. We are to put on God's armor to fight the attacks of the enemy. Those verses you shared have to be read in proper context to have a full understanding of what is being relayed. If you read the entire new testament you will see that it is absolutely possible and inevitable to sin. The key is to repent with true remorse and turn towards God so that he can help us become more pure and holy. That is a lifetime process my friend. It doesn't not happen overnight. We have to be purged.
25 year old man here. God has enabled me to overcome the the big three. Porn, masturbation, and lustful thoughts/fantasizing. It's had tremendous positive effects. Semen retention is the way to go. But I am stumped about the issue of sexual dreams. Despite my prayers and rebuking of evil spirits, I've been having weekly sexual dreams. I understand that my restraint has greatly increased the sensitivity and power of my sexuality, and how that is related. But I just don't get why the dreams can be so horrifically demented and debased. I won't go into detail, but these dreams can get absolutely nasty and don't reflect my desires. So Im left asking Jesus; what gives? Did I not pray for protection? What's wrong with me? Why would you allow that? I feel robbed as well, I don't feel as if my consent came into play or that I was in control. I'd like to think that I'm not willfully sinning if at all. In most cases that is. To my knowledge most professing Christian men don't make it to that level of restraint. At least not before marriage and/or old age. It doesn't make sense that all that effort results in me having my retention disrupted and robbed. Perhaps someone feels led by the spirit to leave a good reply. I could sure use one.
First all, congrats on leaving your past behind, overcoming lustful thoughts and all the other sins you mentioned 👏👏👏. It's obviously not something which people want to talk about openly, since feelings of shame and guilt are often involved, but a large number of Christians have gone through this and feeling condemned, sinful and violated after these type of dreams. I think Jesus hears our prayers and protects us but the reason why we still get attacked is because we are constantly in spiritual warfare all the time "In this world you will have trouble but take heart, I have overcome the world", even Ephesians talks about how we fight against evil powers and principalities. If you think about it sin first begins with a thought and that's why the enemy attacks us in our dreams and thoughts to either lead us to act on what he's planted in us, in this case sexual immorality. Or to make us feel condemned and unworthy which will stop us from drawing nearer to God and the grace which He freely gives us. Basically the devil wants to destroy as well as stop us from walking in purity, holiness and "living a life worthy of the calling we've received". You said, "Why would you allow that?" referring to Jesus. Well, in the Bible He reveals that our faith is constantly being tested just like what happened in the garden with Adam and Eve, God presented Himself to them with all the blessings He wanted to give them and Satan also presented himself offering " the knowledge of good and evil" which was a trap to ensnare not only them but the human race. We all have to make a choice. In your case, God has said, "I want to bless you but to truly inherit the promises I have for you, accept Jesus, remain sexually pure, and obey all of my commands". But then the devil comes against what God has spoken into your life and bombards you with sexual dreams and temptations so that you'll act on, follow those ungodly desires and he'll keep you in bondage like before. Jesus told us being Christian would not be easy and that the devil continues to wage war on the seed of God because we've chosen to be set apart from the world. I'd advise you to open the book of Job and study it because Job was a righteous man but still suffered. In his story we see how the Lord is still merciful to us even through the tough times when we don't understand why bad things keep on happening to us. As well as praying everytime before you go to sleep (which you probably do) but specifically praying against spirits which enter people's dreams to influence their thoughts. As well praying everytime after you have those dreams and at anytime throughout your day even if it's in your heart, to make sure you're always in God's presence and constantly in communication with Him. I've also gone through it before, constantly prayed and rebuked everything in Jesus' name because I know if left unattended, the spirit attaches itself and becomes a spiritual husband or wife.

For Satan uses tactics on the weakness part of your spirit, for example. Puberty, as I am 16 and still struggle with Lust, hormones are not an excuse for your desires. Lusting after a woman and to see her as an object is a sin, said by Jesus himself. Now if you pray more and if you MEAN it, the Lord will grant you healing and strength. Pray for such every night, every day and you will see results and less wetdreams. I simply ask Jesus to protect my dreams while I sleep. I trust Jesus. So now my dreams are just normal days. No more nightmares too! Jesus is the way!

The struggle with this is real, I'm sure women do get this but I think men suffer the most with this (sexual temptation and lust). What makes it worse for me is my wife had cervical cancer about 7 years ago and had a full hysterectomy, so yeah sex drive ended ....and sex ended. I struggled with porn over the years but completely eliminated it a few years back. But it does not take much to fall back into lust or temptation, (to start having the dreams again, or lustful thoughts throughout the day) I mean I had to cut out shows on Netflix or be careful what movies I watch, for example wife was watching a TV series Reign and it seemed harmless enough I tried to watch it with her and couldn't even handle the pack of hot women with low cut dresses it was just too much. Told the wife nah just don't like it lol.
It's brutal at work, surrounded with hot women 40 hours a week, I mean I have trained myself to look at the floor when I walk around. Maybe some think this is crazy but its a very real war when you want to "If you love me you will follow my commandments" I feel like I am an alcoholic that sits in a bar all day and has to fight not taking a drink. Or an gambler that sits in Vegas and has to fight not going to the slot machine. We are surrounded by a sexual culture its just everywhere, Jesus suffered for me, I will suffer with him and fight it.

I have tended to notice that sexual dreams occur more regularly when I have been taking in media with sexual content or jokes in them (tv, movies, music, etc). There are certain shows that I’ve stopped watching and I rarely have those dreams now. Just wanted to provide a helpful suggestion!

So if I'm listening to music or a movie with explicit sex scenes it's gonna entice me to act/think a certain way... Science has even said for some music has become as addictive as a drug, if that's the case can a drug make someone act a certain way?
Look at it this way, how many rappers are dying due to drug addiction? And most of this drug addiction is caused by them hearing about it from another rapper and then they go ahead and try it... I'm not making this up look it up, rapper have admitted this is how they were introduced to xanix, lean and other drugs... It's the same way when rock and roll was built on sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll... People were literally doing this back then and still are now.

Day before yesterday I was fasting,and the previous night I had sexual dreams,Satan was trying to stop my fasting by making me guilty,I woke up and immediately started praying,my fasting prayer was meaningful.thank u lord.

I usually have these dreams after fasting as well. It is a weapon for sure. Once you understand this for what it is, you can walk in victory. Reject the dream and glorify God. Learn to worship Him when these dreams happen and the enemy will flee.
omg like me i had a wet dream when going into the third day of fasting. And there was a little thought in my head that I should stop fasting and go grab some nuts.
I wanted to share a little part of my experience.
As a 32 year old male, I’ve had all the temptations that a man can have and years of guilt/shame.
I’m a born again, and again and again Christian... But it wasn’t a light switch transformation. It’s like a pyramid of spiritual growth. I’m sure I will fail again sometime in the future with something but I’m not who I was. This year is a NEW YEAR that I’m committing to the Christ.
The scariest thing that the Bible spoke to me was that the Lord gave them over to their desires... YOU have to make physical and mental and spiritual changes. You need to make thousands of small yet intentional changes- BC I too would pray everyday day and before every occurrence “take this temptation away from me” but I would still fail. I wanted the sin more than God and it was vanity.
It’s an amazing feeling to wake up everyday for 2 weeks without that hunger. I feel free!! Im not naïve to think I won’t be tempered again but my prayer was answered to give me some relief. So, to anyone who can relate- Keep Fighting! Especially if you’re married. Confess to your spouse and pray together. She is not your play toy, she is your wife; Love her. In return, she will respect you.
Confess openly, repent, change. Keep changing. Keep growing.
I highly recommend reading The Almost Christian by Matthew Mead. Its a VERY sobering read but neccessary. Have your bible next you as you read it because you will want to examine it in light of scripture. Also listen to Paul Washers sermon " Do You Bear Fruit". Women also fall victim to these dreams. For me, when I’m going through a particular spark in hormones (pregnant/PP). It is definitely humbling as I am prone to think I can’t be tempted like that, but I am. I hate these dream and agree with Pastor Piper that we should pray and of corse not act upon them in waking hours. This video was quite encouraging. Please pray for me as I’ve had a hard time admitting this to anyone.. It feels very shameful.

Repenting to God in all honesty and brokenness, asking Him to take it away also helps. He freed me after my repentance. And, I got to know about the sin(it was hidden in me), during a fast. So, fasting and prayer really help.
Also, Jesus already overcame the world for us. You shall overcome, dear Sister. You'll be free from all those dreams. Present them to Jesus. Nothing is too hard for God.

I find that with a lot of repentance and prayer and strong will to do things God's way, the old sinful pattern in my dreams gets either interrupted, I have more lucid control, or it even starts out right - e.g. seeking out the spouse/dreaming of sexual relations and its clearly with the spouse.

I'm not a dreamer. It wasn't until I started fasting that I got attacked with sexual dreams. You definitely have to keep praying and confessing the word to protect your spirit.
There is hope. After struggling with porn for over 25 years, I had a complete change of affection and, for the first time, put God at the center of my life. Take the small temptations captive, and the big ones will slowly become smaller over time. As I detoxed from all porn, the dreams slowed down and then eventually stopped. So take heart as you cleanse your mind and soul from the filth that is porn your dreams will change.

I've never had a sexual dream but I have had cases where I'm dreaming and then wake up and find out that I've ejaculated, but I know that I didn't sin then because I was asleep at that time.

Yes, this is true! Hormones and biology have a lot to do with this for some people. We have to remember that the devil is the accuser of the brethren. Worry and guilt is designed to oppress us. You may not be able to control your biology or your dreams, but you *can* refuse to be oppressed by them.

I'm simply saying that, just like the speaker in the video said, some dreams happen because of hormonal changes in the body, which can be very normal albeit an unwelcome experience. I have suffered for countless years on end with sexual nightmares - rape, incest, adultery and all manner of perversion. It puts me into a spiral of deep depression and anxiety because it occurs nearly every week and consumes my mind with guilt and shame that just won't shift. For years i've blamed myself as being too dirty and just accepted that i won't be delivered. It's affected how i see myself and others, and interfered with my sense of identity in Christ. I've been too ashamed to ask my church to pray for me about it because i don't want to burden them with something so disturbing, but after listening to this video i will ask them for prayer.
When i have these nightmares i isolate myself because i keep thinking people can see how dirty i am, so i sleep more to escape the pain, watch countless hours of netflix to escape all the haunting feelings and thoughts, not realising these things feed the vicious cycle.
This video has given me hope for change and now i can repent with confidence that my Saviour is faithful to heal and deliver me. You have lifted up my weak and weary soul to persevere in this trial and continue the race. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏

Those are definitely great things to do and would help a lot but that's not the simple solution to stop having sexual dreams. It's a spiritual battle. Demons are trying to tempt us through dreams because they know we can't control them and it affects the way we think

Personally I've found that we are in spiritual warfare even in our sleep. I've tried listening to scripture with my earphones in and it's so effective I will dream about scripture. Battling Satan in my sleep has been very effective.

I used to have the same kind of dreams as a baby Christian. After waking up I would feel very guilty and would ask God daily to forgive me. One day while reading a Tommy Tenney book I came across a passage which mentioned many sins and the sexual dream was one of them. I immediately started to ask God to forgive me all over again and could never get to the point of knowing or sensing his forgiveness. However the best thing happened to me right after; God spoke to me and said “The sacrifice of the Son of man is greater than your sin” wow! Wow wow. It’s all I needed to know yet I did not understand fully till after a few years of reading the Bible and relating with the Holy Spirit. Did I had those kind of dreams again? Yes but I won’t let it condemn and acuse me. I just take it as a sign to let me know that adjustments needs to be taken as far as what I’m feeding my soul. Can’t remember the last time I had that kind of dream, however I pray the Holy Spirit protects me tonight. Amen God bless you.

There's something I did about this myself a long time ago, I started praying before I went to bed that god would protect me from sexual dreams, and cover and bless myself mind, body and soul with the blood of Jesus Christ, bind and cast out all sin and evil that has entered me throughout the day. I have learned that we often dream out of our sub conscious, memories reveal themselves in action and repressed feelings take form presenting themselves for processing.
I do agree that most dreams are from our subconscious, however, they are not based on your memories. I know scientists say that dreams are just the brain processing the events of the previous day, but my dreams never have any (even if you try to make them analogous) similarity to past events. A lot of "dream interpretations" are also kind of stupid like "a dream of you being chased by something means you're trying to avoid a problem." Most of the people that use those examples are atheists, but this is our subconscious we're talking about. If it was a short film then the artist could possibly use metaphors like that, but your subconscious is not going to create artistic metaphors, especially if you don't consciously know what it means.
@@Madmonkeman the memories I speak of are not conscious they are more like remembered feelings recorded and or buried in sub conscious, things picked up during the day that you would not of noticed. In my case I study myself and dreams in great depth to discern what is within me and so it is all experiencial, Also it is your spirit that interprets what is presented from the subconscious also known as the heart not the sub conscious forming any metaphor. This is different all together when dealing with spiritual dreams akin to visions which ironically are recievd with a high level of consciousness. As for experts well who are they? As you definitely need faith to explain the things touching on the spiritual nature as you wouldn't believe those things exist.

Here is the answer to the torment you face in the night:

In my own experience, most of those dreams are spiritual attacks.
I could saw myself fighting against this inside of the dream, suffering, and praying in the dream! Once I cryed out to God inside of the dream and it stopped and i woke up.
Have a life of prayer has set me free from this.
Prayers and fasting is also very useful as Jesus said, ask the Lord to make every evil covenant, altar, throne, contract and device of the enemy in the spirit and dream world null and void and to utterly consume them with his consuming fire and to destroy all evil entity, demon, fallen angel and evil spirit associated with these attacks. This is for those who are having sexual attacks, cross dressing attacks, lust, masturbation attacks in their dreams, these dreams also have ability to take us to Hell of we don't prayer against it and ask God to deliver us from it as these are based in evil covenant and altar which have been set up through our sin..
I'm a happily divorced woman, have been celibate for seven years now, but every now & then I wake up in the middle of the night, because my whole body is shaking, and I can tell "something" , "someone" just had "sex" with me...it's extremely scary, and I pray to the LORD He will forgive me, and protect/cover me with His soul saving blood!

God's love is truly mind blowing.... my prayers for those struggling, as well as myself in forever finding, feeling, and understanding of God's undying and endless love.
It's unbelievable how much is constantly going on "behind the curtain"... I feel that our subconscious is a huge unspoken part of our soul..... and our dream realm is very much a place where our subconscious has a ton of control.. You can find out a lot about yourself by the choices you make in your dreams.
I am asking God to help me I this, but what has been very helpful is praying before bed, sanctifying your mind and room in the blood of Jesus Christ, preparing your mind for the battle waged during the night!

Im celebate for 3 years now. I was lost in drugs, fornication and selfishness. I got clean and decided to be celebate so I could focus on my relationship with God. I hope to be married again one day but until then my body is Gods only. I used to struggle with these kind of dreams and lonliness but I learned to give it to God.

I’ve had dreams that were from God, and I have dreams that were from demons and allowed by God. I dreamed every night over and over about drugs or sex and what it did was serve to make me abhor sin even more than ever. And when I wake up realize just how much of a new creature I really am. When my thoughts and feelings about it were entirely different than what the dream represented.
I wonder, how do you distinguish dreams being from god?

I used to have nightmares of being raped against my will by a very ugly demon but the minute I stopped smoking weed they stopped instantly, I’m a Christian and always have been and have devoted my life to Christ the last cpl years but struggled smoking weed, I then started praying for the desire to quit weed and through the holy spirit, I did so the dreams stopped! Also I was watching Joseph prince one morning and he had mentioned nightmares and bad dreams and to bind them in the name of Jesus immediately after waking up which is essential for someone like me because I’m very sensitive to my dreams and the feelings I get from them are extremely oppressive and sometimes keep me depressed all day 😢 and I cannot forget any dream I have, I still remember dreams from wen I was 4 years old! I've been having this happen 3 days in a row, so I really needed to hear this.
It is only when we strengthen our spiritual life that we can be freed from the lust of the flesh.The more we cling to God..the stronger we become in overcoming the lust of the flesh.
For me you must be selective on what you allow to inter your mind.If during the day you have self control over your lustful/sexual thoughts than you should be able to rebuke it in your sleep thats my experience.Mind you the enemy doesn’t change his tricks.You are what you are during the day,in your sleep too.So if your strong minded during the day you should be able to defend yourself by Calling out to Jesus.Thats my experience,obviously its a process which includes daily devotion to Godliness,being selective on what comes in my mind,and prayer Asking God to help you.

I was a victim of sexual sin in my dreams for a long time. I had no intentions of cheating on my wife, and tried to live a godly lifestyle as a Christian. But the dreams were coming fast and furious. Then I was determine to get to the bottom of the matter. After much prayer and agonizing with God He led me to book which gave the reason why Satan is able to tamper with the Christian. It said unconfessed sins in the life of the Christian allows Satan to have access to them. After learning that I examined my self and made some tough decisions. And praise God the dreams stopped. If ever it happens again I now know why. I hope my testimony will help someone as they walk in God's footsteps.

Im watching this because I dreamed all night of not sex with anyone but just touching myself , I woke up actually feeling very lonely, I'm 41 and separated. I probably won't " know "a man ever again this life or have a chance to experience a loving marriage in this life . Waking up immediately after I had a stint of guilt wishing I had woken up befor so I could control myself and move away from what ever attack/temptation coming upon me.
The part of waking up wanting to turn to God immediately is comforting (as it lead me to this video) and reassures that although I am weak that my journey and heart is still fixed on my Jesus.

I’m single and celibate since I ended my relationship almost a year ago. I keep getting attacked in dreams. It’s not only men. It’s also women messing with me sexually in dreams and I feel disgusted when I wake up. It’s like an outer body experience. I see myself with these people but I’m with them in sexual acts. I have woken up feeling aroused. I was thinking maybe because I’m single and I miss being intimate. But I don’t think about sex and it keeps happening.
Spend more time with God and meditate on his word, speaking to myself as well.

Could some of the bad dreams be possibly fueled by bad food? Fried food, burgers, French fries, pizza etc? I notice, it seems like sometimes I question whether or not I should stay away from these types of foods as a Christian. It’s just so easy to go somewhere, grab something for lunch in a drive thru and head back to work. Are these foods an abomination to the Lord? It seems like when I get into a string of eating these things, nightmares are a little more frequent. Maybe God didn’t want us eating crap like that because it messes with our hormones somehow and He knew it wouldn’t be good for us. Just tossing this out there to see what y’all might think. 28 yo, never had sex, never been kissed, never been hugged. Lots of family issues, having to focus on my studies and only meeting already taken girls behind it. For the first time in my life, i dreamt all of these things, and around/on my 28th birthday. The sex dream was nothing but passionate sex, no details to it, just feeling in the right place at the right moment, random girl. The making out dream started with me doing my usual everyday stuff (talking through my ham radio, taking care of random things my family is often quarreling about etc.) then it ended with another random girl asking me to kiss her. A French kiss, like the ones i'm always watching couples do while doing my everyday job (deliveryman), ensued right away. Hope all of this means i'm about to finally experience my first non-unrequited love. Hope it's God's way of telling me nothing but "Your time has come to experience what love is, child".
This a,so happens with women too may the Lord help us when we have these dreams and after we wake. It is a huge temptation and even though I have failed. I repent and continue to look to, my Lord and ask him to forgive me and help me to turn away from those temptations and grow in my faith and obedience
Your dreams are the reportings of your soul of the activities of your spirit man in the spiritual realm.
Sexual dreams happen as a result of spiritual attack on one's virtue to deny a blessing because of legal grounds and doors opened to the devil knowingly or unknowingly through sexual immorality, fornication, adultery by sight or act, pornography, masturbation, lewd movies, debauchery, etc.
Sex is meant as a covenant between married people; only then is it considered scared in the spiritual realm and covered by God. Every act of sexual desire or lust for which one engages, looks at, or masturbates to, gives the devil an equivalent number of access which can be utilized at his evil will legally to access one's spirit man, which then translates to the physical. Even a mere sight of a sexual scene in a movie is an access point to one's soul.
When we engage in any of these immoral sexual activities, we enter into a covenant with persons, witches, evil spirits, demons and whatnot, thereby giving them legal grounds to be joined with us. And then, they can afflict us because we are in the same evil boat as themselves, and in this boat they are more powerful and their sole objective is to kill, steal and destroy us. They will strive to mess our life up beyond one's imagination.
It is possible and quite easy to stop sexual dreams and break the power over your soul:
1. Repent before the the Lord Jesus Christ so His power can be available to you to take your life back. Plead the shed blood of Jesus Christ and stand on privileges of the cross over sin.
2. Go on a long period of fasting; say daily fasting from 6:00am to 6:00pm for 40 days or as the Spirit leads. During this fast, pray for all doors opened in your life to the devil to be closed. Plead the shed blood of Jesus Christ to close and seal those doors...yes, visualize it as much as you can.
3. During this fast and afterwards, abstain from any avenue for these sins. Pray daily for power to overcome the enemy's hold on your life. Ask for a new spirit to walk in a new direction in your life...a direction far away from that prison and never look back.
4. The devil will throw all his arsenal at you just before his hold is completely off, stand your ground. When tempted speak the scriptures focusing on the finished work of the cross, the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Affirm your position with Col 1:13, John 8:34,36, 1 Cor 6:20, and as the Spirit leads.

Sorry, but your answer sounds very simplistic and legalistic. I can't believe it got so many likes! Of course, some people are spirituality oppressed and tormented in their dreams. But your answer is not balanced because *not every sexual dream has a demonic source.* Sometimes they happen merely because the brain is rehashing things we've seen, thought or done. This is a neurological function, not demonic. The ongoing process of sanctification and renewal of the mind in the process of salvation will help us to overcome that over time. *There is no magical one-time fast that is going to take that away.* Other times, our dreams are born of hormonal changes. In these cases, we pray for God's grace and we reject any immoral sexual ideas. But we also accept that we cannot take ownership of dreams that occur against our will. Dreams serve a spiritual AND neurological function and NOBODY can take full control over their dreams. You shouldn't give advice which suggests that.
@@petalblossom96 well to be fair, if you are trying to walk the narrow path of righteousness with Christ then this is actually good advice if you struggle with sexually immoral dreams. Yes, maybe not all sexual dreams are of demonic interference or influence. However you most likely are having these dreams for a reason and it's a good idea to strengthen your faith. If it was a sex dream with your spouse then no shame obviously. Other than that you should repent and ask God for help to end these dreams so that you don't end up having lustful thoughts throughout the day. God knows our thoughts and looking at someone with lust is committing adultry in our hearts. So it's best if we avoid sinning in our waking moments by trying to rebuke sin in our dreams. Through Christ all things are possible. In having a christlike mind our subconscious shouldn't be having these dreams because you desire only what is good. These sexual dreams CAN be stopped. Chances are you have been exposed to something you shouldn't have so be cautious of that you choose to watch, read, and listen to.

Satan always a Texas and a week is sometimes I just during sleep, familiar spirits look to exploit our weaknesses, be vigilant of what you condone in ( especially entertainment movies music) who you hang around Etc. I tend to not remember my dreams very often, however, when I do remember them, they are very strange. I asked my pastor if I could talk about my dreams with him and he kinda brushed me off. True Counterphobia when you sleep your soul leaves your body to go into the spiritual world so sometimes is god talking to you or it could be the devil attacking you! So I believe that the things that you dream about a distant future is a prophecy from god, if the prophecy is bad pray against it if it’s good receive it and pray to god that it should come to past! I know for one thing i have seen time and again, the devil is always trying to make people believe that there is some other way to reach God other than scriptures,prayer,fasting and repentance. They make up elaborate ways that we are to think of things vs the plan he has layed out for us. Maby you are just longing to be closer to God and making it to hard. Your enemy gonna attack you every day just like dark thoughts and sexual dreams. I know how to get rid of dark thoughts. Just create a bin in your mind and as soon as the dark thoughts come, put it in the bin and focus on the Lord. Don't even think about it. I ask the lord about the sexual dream, and each time you gonna have a sexual dream, the holy spirit will wake you up. Just pray to the Lord to remove all these wicked images in your mind and you will see, it gonna disappear very fast. That's why it is important to keep your focus on the lord every day. what the enemy is trying to do, is that he want to put dark thoughts and wicked images in your mind to make you sin. That's why don't let these dark thoughts and wicked images stay in your mind or else you will realize that the lust of the flesh will start to grow slowly and finally you will stumble.
I've had these sex dreams also and I've had dreams of doing drugs or smoking cigarettes. I used to be addicted to pot and cigarettes. Not anymore thanks to God. Pay attention to the contents of the dreams as God may be trying to warn you or alert you about something. And honestly, pray hard.

I have them as well. Had one last night in fact. You live in a fallen body. It isn’t your fault. Are you obeying Christ? Pursuing holiness when it comes to the things you read, watch, or listen to? If the answer is yes, then keep abiding in Christ. You’ll be okay. He will not fail to keep you.
These happen to me, even if I pray for protection. What I have noticed is, my dreams will tend in a sexual direction if I have not been intentional to soak in the Truth all day. If I choose entertainment and empty things all day, it leaves me open to sexual dreams. God may be merciful to answer my prayers for protection, but He is not obligated to save me from the consequences of my own foolish actions throughout the day. Not guarding the eyes, the mind, and the ears through the day will likely have consequences in the night.

i've seen a lot of answers , i've been really blessed by this video, and i've stopped it cause of my adhd i saw one comment and started to read them , and i was really amazed and touch by the love of God that we can all have towards each other glory to him and i was thanking God to see everyone in here wanting to fight that battle and be holy , it is very touching.
as i read , i saw a lot of comments and i just want to say that the ennemy is a liar.
also the (forces) of our world propaganda in music ,movies etcetera they are image or representation of our sinful nature that is why its so popular.
like Mr.Piper said , our flesh is against us , the world is against us , and the ennemy.
that makes a bunch of lies against the truth. the only truth wich is God and his word his promises.
we have (real dreams) but wrong desire (falling nature) or flesh wich is not the true will of God, so its fake dreams , its lies ,(even if its true).
it can be spiritual , it can be hormones , it can be subconscious.
the thing we must not forget is (we are sin) we don't just do it , we are a sinful nature.
we have responsability to take care of what we are feeding our minds with , be careful like people said in the comments , the world is against God, we are not from this world if we are seated with Christ in the heavens with him.
do every (little) thing you can talking for men here ( careful with your eyes) , just make moves ,pray , be genuinely sorry , repent, change your mind, fast if the holy spirit is leading you towards it. just know that your flesh will not lead you towards it.
Even with our conversion , God had to make a move so that we could repent , but we still had to repent and do something. we got our job to do and God is doing his job.
Our job is to trust in him , do what we can to fight sin and our flesh and this world , his love is greater than everything, God all the glory be given to you , thank you for all of your blessings toward sinners like us , may you help us to be holy , to be in your image , to be free from those chains ,that we can walk in this freedom that you brought us on that cross , the sin has no power on us anymore , may you can make us believe that it is your word. thank you Lord Jesus for that cross, in Jesus name amen.

I'm a single guy buy I've been having these dreams ever since I've been doing what I can to stop watching porn/masturbation/lust im going through a HUGE spiritual warfare first one I had after days of not doing anything was strangely of my cousin and I could feel the demonic presence of my "cousin" as if it just took her form, second was of a really no offence but just a really really unattractive lady I could feel and know it was a demon, the third one i just had was of my ex who yes I fornicated with and was in deep sin with but but I broke it off to follow christ months back and it was weird because I felt her presence not a demon but I I beilive it could have been, to try and confuse me, I realized I don't like these dreams i dont want them i prayed for protection from these dreams last night but still got this one it could be a test idk but it makes it harder and more stressful for me spiritual warfare really is no joke ugh
When you turn away from sin and turn to God, the enemy hates it and attacks you. For you it sounds like it's being done through perverted dreams. It can be a test to see what you will do. How faithful you are. Will you fight the temptation or will you run to it. That is my understanding of what is occurring. When I first turned to God, I had sleep paralysis for a week, it was terrible. But through faith and the strength of the lord, I didn't run back to my old ways and the lord delivered me from these demonic attacks during my sleep. Later on, I was having crazy dreams. I belive they were attacks. I am still learning about all this during my journey but I know for sure when we initially give our life to God, we will definitely be attacked. After deliverance, times of testing come again. But everytime we abstain from sin, we grow stronger in our faith. I hope this helps. Keep fighting the good fight my friend.

When I get a chance I will watch the video, but I caution you to test the spirits and pray to God to see if what you received is indeed true. Every person God used in the bible sinned, not one of them was perfect. Noah, who was found to be righteous in God's eyes sinned by getting drunk. David murdered a man and had sex with that man's wife. We all fall short of God's glory which is why we all need Jesus to be redeemed and justified by God. Even after salvation, it is absolutely possible to sin because the flesh and spirit war against each other and we must fight the flesh everyday. We are to put on God's armor to fight the attacks of the enemy. Those verses you shared have to be read in proper context to have a full understanding of what is being relayed. If you read the entire new testament you will see that it is absolutely possible and inevitable to sin. The key is to repent with true remorse and turn towards God so that he can help us become more pure and holy. That is a lifetime process my friend. It doesn't not happen overnight. We have to be purged.
Dreams, like a lot of things we are allowed to experience, make us hate separation from God that much more.
25 year old man here. God has enabled me to overcome the the big three. Porn, masturbation, and lustful thoughts/fantasizing. It's had tremendous positive effects. Semen retention is the way to go. But I am stumped about the issue of sexual dreams. Despite my prayers and rebuking of evil spirits, I've been having weekly sexual dreams. I understand that my restraint has greatly increased the sensitivity and power of my sexuality, and how that is related. But I just don't get why the dreams can be so horrifically demented and debased. I won't go into detail, but these dreams can get absolutely nasty and don't reflect my desires. So Im left asking Jesus; what gives? Did I not pray for protection? What's wrong with me? Why would you allow that? I feel robbed as well, I don't feel as if my consent came into play or that I was in control. I'd like to think that I'm not willfully sinning if at all. In most cases that is. To my knowledge most professing Christian men don't make it to that level of restraint. At least not before marriage and/or old age. It doesn't make sense that all that effort results in me having my retention disrupted and robbed. Perhaps someone feels led by the spirit to leave a good reply. I could sure use one.
First all, congrats on leaving your past behind, overcoming lustful thoughts and all the other sins you mentioned 👏👏👏.
It's obviously not something which people want to talk about openly, since feelings of shame and guilt are often involved, but a large number of Christians have gone through this and feeling condemned, sinful and violated after these type of dreams.
I think Jesus hears our prayers and protects us but the reason why we still get attacked is because we are constantly in spiritual warfare all the time "In this world you will have trouble but take heart, I have overcome the world", even Ephesians talks about how we fight against evil powers and principalities. If you think about it sin first begins with a thought and that's why the enemy attacks us in our dreams and thoughts to either lead us to act on what he's planted in us, in this case sexual immorality. Or to make us feel condemned and unworthy which will stop us from drawing nearer to God and the grace which He freely gives us. Basically the devil wants to destroy as well as stop us from walking in purity, holiness and "living a life worthy of the calling we've received".
You said, "Why would you allow that?" referring to Jesus. Well, in the Bible He reveals that our faith is constantly being tested just like what happened in the garden with Adam and Eve, God presented Himself to them with all the blessings He wanted to give them and Satan also presented himself offering " the knowledge of good and evil" which was a trap to ensnare not only them but the human race. We all have to make a choice.
In your case, God has said, "I want to bless you but to truly inherit the promises I have for you, accept Jesus, remain sexually pure, and obey all of my commands". But then the devil comes against what God has spoken into your life and bombards you with sexual dreams and temptations so that you'll act on, follow those ungodly desires and he'll keep you in bondage like before.
Jesus told us being Christian would not be easy and that the devil continues to wage war on the seed of God because we've chosen to be set apart from the world. I'd advise you to open the book of Job and study it because Job was a righteous man but still suffered. In his story we see how the Lord is still merciful to us even through the tough times when we don't understand why bad things keep on happening to us.
As well as praying everytime before you go to sleep (which you probably do) but specifically praying against spirits which enter people's dreams to influence their thoughts. As well praying everytime after you have those dreams and at anytime throughout your day even if it's in your heart, to make sure you're always in God's presence and constantly in communication with Him.
I've also gone through it before, constantly prayed and rebuked everything in Jesus' name because I know if left unattended, the spirit attaches itself and becomes a spiritual husband or wife.

In last night's dream I was able to make a decision like in real life. Although tempted I chose not to partake. I've never had that power in my dreams before. Wild.

@@carrionsoul9515 yes I understand your feelings and I asked God the same questions. I know we can resist even in our dreams because God gives us the grace to do so and I am a witness! Yet I fail at times especially when I'm not spending consistent and quality time with Him.
For Satan uses tactics on the weakness part of your spirit, for example.
Puberty, as I am 16 and still struggle with Lust, hormones are not an excuse for your desires. Lusting after a woman and to see her as an object is a sin, said by Jesus himself. Now if you pray more and if you MEAN it, the Lord will grant you healing and strength.
Pray for such every night, every day and you will see results and less wetdreams. As I had one last night, it indeed gives me guilt, but it makes me stronger to prevent the Satans attacks on my spirit.

The devil always lies , remember Satan does nothing with out permissions . So that means there’s a reason for it . We are told to not sin on purpose and turn from evil . So responsibility of choice is a lot down to us our choices get us in a mess . I try to stay out of the way of it . But it always follows temptations knock on the door all the time . It won’t go until we have endured the fight to the end and we are transformed .
