regarding wylan not getting his own chapter in the first book leigh bardugo said in an interview that she wrote some for him but they didnt feel right because he wasnt a real part of the crows yet. and actually i think i agree.. obviously still sad that we dont get to experience the madness of the first book through baby boy wylans eyes
Congrats on graduating and getting into your graduate program! You got this!! Literally just finished my Masters in Law last week and it went by so fast!
Katie's really out here slaying her reading goals and getting accepted to grad school 👏🥳 Congratulations! Can't wait to see footage with the new camera 👀 (Me when I wake up on Monday mornings: 16:43 😭)
I'm one of the biggest FAN of Yona !!! I ADORE IT SOOO MUCH !!! 😍😍😍😭😭😭 !! I have been a fan of this manga for YEARS!!! 😍😭 so it makes me so incredibly HAPPY that you enjoyed it !!
Congrats of the grad acceptance! 🎉 Because of you and Cass I requested "The final Empire" from the library and now I'm waiting in the queue. 😂 It'll be my first Brandon Sanderson book, so...😂😂
First off congrats on getting into the graduate program. I want to start reading the the manga that you are reading. I've been seeing it everywhere lately. Great vlog Katie as always
I recently fell in love with your videos and have been watching them in a random order and I chuckled when you spoke about the Yona of the Dawn mangas, that you wont be collecting all of them, but now you have almost all of them 🤭
I finished reading Radio Silence earlier this afternoon. It was a 4.5 star read for me. It was light on the plot, mainly vibes. But I really did enjoy the vibes. I’ve had this book on my TBR since high school. I’m glad I finally got around to reading it. I immediately jumped into Loveless next if that tells you anything. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it.
Omg congrats on getting accepted to grad school! Good luck, you got this! Also my friend and I are buddy reading the Shadow and Bone series (It's a reread for me and her first time reading) and it's been super fun so far! I love your videos!
Ahhh yona of the dawn is one of my favorites!!! I’m so glad you’re enjoying it 🤩 I so wish we could get a season 2 of the anime 🥲 but at least we have SO many volumes of the manga!!
OMG KATIE congrats on getting accepted to grad school! I'm so excited for you and I hope you'll have a good time!! 🧡 It's so funny how right you are in saying how insane all of the Crows are 💀😂 Also, that reading room your library has is so lovely! I wish my local libraries had something like that My reading goal this year is 24 books and so far I've read 15 sooo I think I'm doing pretty good ✨
Congratulations on the grad school! Getting a masters in mechanical engineering, so amazing! I loved The Serpent and the Wings of Night. A quick fast paced fantasy that I’m excited to read more of.
I am so interested in how you film your videos and what camera, tools you use (light, editing, etc). So maybe you can make a video about it or include it in one of your vlogs! Congrats on being accepted in grad school 🎉
I also wanted to read Half A Soul but it keeps being out at the library and I also have been wanting to pick up Every Heart a Doorway series as well and it is on my tbr list for next month funny enough because I keep hearing people talk about it as well.
Hard agree on everything you had to say about Mistborn! I love love loved the payoff of seeing the small details come together, but the last few pages somehow still fell a little flat.
This was such a fun vlog to watch during my long ride in my moving truck today! My dad is driving not me, I didn’t watch the video while driving. I just graduated college on Sunday and I’m moving across the country now! Congratulations on the acceptance to grad school! I will also be attending graduate school in the Fall for a Master’s of Library and Information Studies.
Congratulations on getting into the grad program! I’m sure you will do well and get a lot out of the experience. Reading wise, I am about to start the Mistborn series and am several days in to Dracula Daily! It is a bit confusing because my timezone (Australia) is a day ahead of the schedule on which they release the daily emails, but I am enjoying this as a different way to reread Dracula. It also makes me slow down my reading pace - which is a good thing 😸
i don't really read fantasy, but i'd read brandon sanderson's books just because they look so floppy. congratulations on the new camera! and congratulations on the grad school acceptance!!! 🎉🎈✨🎊 and manga and anime can be very very addictive. i once bought an entire manga series on a second hand bookstore in japan just because they had all the volumes and it was cheap as heck. the sad part is that i can't really read that much japanese so i've never really read them 😢
I loved this video Katie! 💙✨ Congratulations on your grad school acceptance and your new camera! 🥳 I’m currently working on my second bachelor’s and I cannot imagine doing grad school after I’m done at this point, so you are a strong soldier! 😂
i started reading six of crows with the book club loved it was literally about to start crooked kingdom then i saw you posted a new video so im watching this first than reading it lol
i personally like Crooked Kingdom more than six of crows, i liked six of crows a lot but i feel like crooked kingdom had a lot more scheming going on XD
Half a Soul is amazing! I just reread that book and it was better than I remembered and got me out of a major reading slump. My unpopular opinion on Every Heart a Doorway is that it would've been better as a children's book. It's an interesting premise but I didn't entirely like the execution of it. It's not bad but it definitely could have been better.
Read Six of Crows and gave it a 3 star and still debating if I want to tackle Crooked Kingdom or not and have been reading Yona of the Dawn and I think I am up to Volume 8 unfortunately the library did not have Volume 7.
🥳🍾Congrats on the “going to grad school” choice! Avoid the “real” world as long as you can 😂 I rated FE and WoA 4.5 - and HoA 5 stars-just bec of the way most of the “secrets” were revealed/everything made a whole lot more sense to me. Mistborn:Secret History answered the rest of the questions I had. Have a great time at graduation!!!🎉🎉
hearing you talk about how you’re not gonna collect every volume of yona of the dawn while i’m waiting for my remaining 13 volumes to come in the mail so i can have all the volumes 😅🤣 in my defense my sister has a 40% off barnes and noble discount so how could i not…
Congrats on Grad School! As someone who's a semester away from finishing my M.S. I can say that it's so different than undergrad in both good and bad ways lol. Are you doing a thesis-based degree or course-based?
I didn’t like the ending either. I wanted something different. I feel like Sanderson cut things short. I liked the first book of the series the best as well.
I loved the entire Mistorn trilogy and I think I gave each book 5 stars, buttttt I hated the ending. The reveals were amazing and everything but . SPOILER . . . . I just don't like books where the main characters die. And I was also sad that we didn't get more from the shape-shifter creatures (I forgot the name, it's been a minute). I felt like there was so much more to their culture and their little romance and then they just all sacrificed themselves. And lastly, I didn't like that the world got all green and healthy again, I liked the ash and grey vibe hahaha. It was so interesting how people and plants had adapted to that. Anyways I really need to pick up Mistborn Era 2 at some point, so maybe I'll like the ending better then.

It might be almost midnight for me and I have to work tomorrow but.... Katie uploaded so I have no choice but to watch!
Look forward to your videos quite literally all week they’re so calming ✨
omg that reading room in the library is gorgeous!!!!! all the libraries near me are so boring and gray :')
Gotta love reading in nature at parks, woods, ect..so much more relaxing 📚🌻🍧🌈🪁🥤💐🍨
I'm one of the biggest FAN of Yona !!! I ADORE IT SOOO MUCH !!! 😍😍😍😭😭😭 !! I have been a fan of this manga for YEARS!!! 😍😭 so it makes me so incredibly HAPPY that you enjoyed it !!

it will be worth the wait 😊
So excited for you bestie🎉❤

My Goodreads goal is always one (1) book because it doesn't matter lmao.
well done katie 👍👍👍x
I didn’t like the ending either. I wanted something different. I feel like Sanderson cut things short. I liked the first book of the series the best as well.
I thought you give the final empire 4 stars while the other 4,5 stars 😅but you say you like it more. Seems I missed up somewhere.
