I remember the day the song was first done at Great Faith Ministries in Detroit. I used to have the cassette tape of that service which had the first rendition. It came from a message and later became the offering song and from there it was recorded and now played all over the world many decades later.
great tutorial, I’ve been playing this for years, but always notice people play it too fast and lose the groove. and many people don’t play the changes so it becomes boring and repetitive. 'we know that God's word' is never sung. and the music for late in the midnight hour is often done the same as the main groove. its refreshing to hear how it should be done. Thank you!!
