Innerfrench is a good channel, and on his website he has a lot of podcasts you can listen to and read the transcript in french as well.
@@jaeglesbagels Hugo really is a great teacher. Watched his innerfrench videos and podcasts throughout most of our lockdown. That helped me improve my french a lot.

I don’t speak French but I I love your videos. I think one of my language goals of 2021 will be learning French basics, but I’m scared it will interfere with the other romance languages I know 😅
These videos are excellent for those learning french who struggle to improve their B1 level comprehension. The speed and clarity of her speach are perfect for my level. Too many teachers on youtube speak too quickly and liason so much that i am not able to follow... keep up the good work

"Nuestra Historia" is a Peruvian novel super cool; "Winx Club" with latin america dubbing; "Rebelde", this one is a pretty much famous mexican novel about teenagers on a internado; "Martin Mystery" with spanish (LATAM) dubbing and "Karkoo", a Chilean teen novel.

Il y a longtemps que je veux m'adresser des gens pour parler avec eux en français (écrit ou parlé) parce que j'apprends le français depuis quasi 4 ans (à l'école, rien professionnel) mais je n’ai jamais parlé avec quelqu'un qui est natif et que de la même manière que cette personne peut m'aider avec le français, je pourrais lui aider avec l'espagnol, par exemple.
Cette année j'ai ne pas pu apprendre le français a l'école à cause de la covid-19 mais j'ai continué à l'apprendre de chez moi.
Je ne sais pas si je m'ai bien expliqué...
J'espère que vous pouvez me donner quelque astuce avec ça :)

Felicitaciones. Aunque ya tienes las bases para aprender español creo que lo aprenderás muy rápido. Espero que a mediados de año hagas otro video para ver que tanto has progresado. Yo también espero llegar al nivel B1 a mediados de año, y si Dios quiere llegar a nivel B2 (de francés obviamente) a finales del 2021. Il première roman que j'ai lis en espagnol c'etait La Sombra del Viento par Zafón ... c'est facile à lire et assez intéressant. Si tu veux un roman plus "littéraire" (mais accessible) je conseille ceux de Roberto Bolaño. Amuleto est court et facile à lire mais, à la fois, très impressionnant. Et son 2666 est un chef-d'œuvre.

I just found out your channel. It is perfect for french practice. Your style, home environment, dog etc. make me feel comfortable and like I am at my house listening to a friend. Subtitles are so helpful. I wonder if I can see both English and French subtitles at the same time. One at the top, other at the bottom. Thank you very much from Turkey.

My question: when either reading French or listening, should I be actively trying to translate it to English in my head, or should I just consume it as French and try to understand it in French?

I have been watching a lot of videos teaching people French since last year... and personally your channel is my favorite! I love the way how you speak..your accent..and the topics you picked (eg: the idioms..etc) the interaction with your bf and sister is funny! Regarding the subtitles, I make the subtitles myself so always make sure you pick the French subtitles and not the auto-generated ones :)
