As someone who works at Starbucks, I totally agree with you that it feels very corporate and cold sometimes! Even so, you did an amazing job making the cafe feel warm and inviting

I redecorated Bob’s house- inside. He was one of the 3 og’s on my island- dirt floor blah blah blah. His house is definitely snack ready and relaxing for him since he is a lazy. I also have he and Lolly together on the archipelago- so he has Lolly’s pic in his house. ❤️

Accidentally fell across this video after my cat sat on my switch controller (I watch UA-cam on switch). I love your build its amazing! I have unlocked the remodelling villager houses part. Rod is Captns assistant as he lives by the dock with his home being worn,filled with scavenged items it looks cute, Sydney is my preschool, static has a rock stage with seats and flames, poppy has a snuggly rustic like type pub, Sasha runs the cafe, Biskit runs the flower shop, Carmen runs the produce shop on the farm, Petri is the crazy scientist on this overgrown isolated hill which her home reflects, Raddle is in the hospital and Ione's home is decorated to be a picnic outside in the dark with the blue wall paper with the stars and the field floor.they all have clothes gifted that suits their roles on the island (mainly town type island).
This is the best possible way anyone has ever found my UA-cam channel, hands down. Also your island sounds amazing!! I love how much time you put into theming and giving everyone their own role!
it's a great cafe! Also, all you need to do to design your villagers' houses is to give them souvenir chocolates.

how did you change the partition walls in the dlc?! id love to do this to my cafe with the coffee bean wall!
its a little tricky cuz you can only use your main wallpaper as the partition wall, so what I've been doing is putting the partition wall up against the accent wall to make it look smaller. I don't know if that explanation makes sense but you should definitely experiment with it! using the coffee bean wall is an amazing idea!

Yeah, the Starbucks near me used to be super homey, but they remodeled and now the fireplace is gone and the leather couches are gone. My late grandpa would take my brother and I there years ago to get a whipped cream pup cup and talk to his golf friends. But now it's all brightly colored and gray and orange which are not the best colors imo. It looks like a modern library not a coffee shop. Luckily I can just go to the local bubble tea shop instead!

yes! you can redesign any of your builds at any time!
How did you do the windows ?
I used a wallpaper that came with windows and then used a partition wall to move them around!
where did u get that medium wooden partition from?
I unlocked them both at some point from playing the dlc! unfortunately they're both recipes so I don't have them yet on my main island and can only use them when playing the dlc
