This game runs at 20 tick intervals that’s slower than Minecraft updating that means it’s really running at less than 16fps and everything in between is client side.

As someone who lives in SEA I can assure you that this is most certainly not just an apex issue. Literally any online FPS game in asia is filled to the brim with cheaters.

I came across a speed hacker on my console lobbies, dude was Japanese and on ps4 yet managed to speed hack around the map
you get extra racist with how constant it get the moment you see chinese names they're either terrible or cheats no in-between till proven in game

Same here in India, either go to Bahrain, which is for the most part, a dead server(for 100 ping) or go to European servers(for 200 ping)
As a fellow South African, I can attest that we are celebrating if we get 160 ping 😂

i play from eu on american servers cuz eu idiots never use coms but to yell at you and i have 160 ping... i never get any advantage, if anything i die much more than american players due the delay because of it :D so yea those pros are whinging for nothing
It’s actually a real thing and it makes a lot of sense: if your opponent is lagging and you’re not, they’re able to see you for more frames as their game moves slower and more jankier which means if you start running to peek behind a wall, the laggy opponent will see you for longer then it shows on your screen.
Surely there’s been a time where you’ve been shot and it seems like u was shot through a wall or a door?? lmk your thoughts :)
@@sullszn saying it as an advantage is a different story, if people really thought it was an advantage they should play servers outside their country and LAN events shouldn't be a thing. The chance of a high ping user dying behind a wall will happen more often than a player with lower ping too.

High ping advantage is not really an advantage. Depends how you using this. If you push the enemy you have advantage if enemy pushes you you have disadvantage. Thats how latency works. If you have for example 100ms 200ms 300ms… you will see enemy faster if you pushing him its also works the opposite way. If enemy starts pushing you hes gonna see you faster than you if hes peeking from a corner or doors. High ping gives you advantage it can also screw you up
i mean people from middle east and Africa are forced to play Euro servers with 200+ ping all the time, since nobody plays bahrain servers at all. kinda wack to think pros assume we have an advantage as if we arent handy capped by normally a 190 ping difference

i have done tests before 120-180 ping your in disadvantage 190-220 you are in advantage any thing plus that its coin toss from the game crashing, advantage and disadvantage .And how this work , on my screen i see 1 shot and im dead , on your screen you see 9-10 .

its not even for the 20 bomb though. It inflates the leaderboard for most kills in a season/most kills on a legend. I tried this for research purposes and ran into the #1 Alter with 12000 kills. Its a serious issue and the badges dont mean anything anymore.

There is no thing like a "high ping advantage". If someone gets an "high ping advantage", its a cheater faking lagg to kill you easily. Idk how they do it but they make their game look like they have high ping while moving normally.
They teleport on Your screen, but they freely move on theirs and have no issue, cause if you have high ping your bullets have high ping too, right? So that means, they travel *slower* to the enemy and therefore *can't* hit you through walls.
What you're describing is lag switching. There IS high ping advantage. I play at 5ms, I can also play on servers at 160 or 260 ms. I know the difference because I can feel it and I can use it when I need it. I can even make a video about this if you want to know what it is.
Here's a tip, bro. If you have to say "somehow" while describing a theory you just pulled out of your abyss, then you're probably talking about something you don't know about.
The sadder thing about these lobbies are the people farming the gibbys, i went to taiwan gce 2 at about 2am BST. I found like ~30-40 bots and they were all being farmed by masters/pred players, some of these guys had upwards of 50k kills on these legends.

Living on a tropical island, forced to play on EU at 200ms when it doesn't skyrocket... 10/15 years ago it used to be 350ms minimum on cs go!
I can train in South Africa in Valorant, but all my teamates are all on Paris...
By the time I get to plat in a game my brain has already melted and I don't want to play anymore, and plat isn't even a great achievement...

Me and my friend wanted to play all the apex servers around the world 3 days ago, Taiwan was hard but seeing all of this on hong kong in the middle of the night without warning was a jumpscare to us. Worlds edge especially capital city is usually the loudest and most festive but there it was just dead silent. Almost like a ghost town if you ask me.

I think there is something to the high ping advantages at time. Playing on my parent shitternet vs my colleges 20ping widened my eyes to it. I'd lace people that couldn't see me for a full 2 seconds after I made my move.
Apex is so fucked, steam fucked up deadzones on controller, aiming long range is impossible because you can’t micro adjust, it doesn’t let let you. No matter what you do it doesn’t register anything under 30% strength so fine adjustments are impossible.

I had that glitch but someone said reset the deadzone to 100 on steam. For some reason that fixes it.
You can adjust the deadzone settings in the steam controller settings

About the bots , last season I started playing apex again after 8 seasons, my first experience coming back to this game was that TDM a had a few gibby bots that were just using their tactical ability one bangalore that was just running around the map without stopping and one wrait that was idle until her ultimate was charged and a few either really new players or straight up bots that were playing normally. It kinda scared me because it literally looked like someone was training AI bots to play the game

SEA player here, I regularly get into these bot farming lobbies if i queue early morning roughly 2-4AM. Peak hours (Roughly 3PM to 9 PM) in SEA and SE servers is riddled with bots who queue up, spam the same cheating software website then disconnects before I even see the champ squad. There was even a time where out of the 60 players that queued up, 34 remained in the dropship which meant nearly half were bots during peak hours.
What server and what time would that be Easter standard time

High ping advantage is real also know as ping differential if a player has worse ping than u it could give them a slight advantage in a sense like in this situation if your running from a player with higher ping than you and you run into a door way and close the door on your screen you may see fine like you went in at the perfect time but some how u got shot still maybe 1 or 2 hits that's because on the person with bad ping things happen a second\milla secs slower

A number of time in solos, I've been killed by a player from Asia, and I have clips of my body being literally sucked backwards towards them as they shoot me in the back-- the server is not registering my movement because the shots are being registered in their eyes before I ever moved. There is an advantage, but it's only in cases where you havn't engaged with the high ping player and they can shoot you 1.5 seconds in the past.
It works both ways though. Its the "peekers advantage", its just exaggerated because one player has high ping. The other player sees you moving away later, but also he sees you moving in later too. That's what you dont notice though, because for you it just feels like he reacts slow.

“Ping advantage” literally goes both ways, moving into cover or trying to disengage/get away will always be disadvantaged because of it, but being the aggressor and swinging angles from cover will always give an advantage due to the player model being behind on the other players screen. It isn’t a definitive and pure advantage with no drawbacks, it just has to be played around and it’s awkward/annoying to both play with or against.
That explains all the Japanese and Chinese names in my lobbies.

South Africa doesn't have Apex servers, I play at 200 ping every game, with solos killcam it's showed me how low ping players actually see me like a whole second before I even see them, still don't how this is an advantage but okay

Dying in western server with 300 ping feel alot more legit than in asian server with 50 ping, in western server the fight last longer and you have time to react and fight back, in asian server, enemy just pre-fire around the corner without recon legend (you're not sprinting), you die in 1 sec over 100m distance without you able to fire a single bullet

It happens everywhere, it's just much more noticeable on the Asian servers because of the ratio of bots to real players. You don't normally see more than a couple in a match on most servers. It's pretty rare to see an entire lobby of bots outside of Asia though.

I can't change servers. Otherwise, i crash as soon as i load into the game, and i have to uninstall and reinstall
even on consoles at least for me, Ive encountered so many lag switches and mini ddos, plus majority of ranked randoms are either fucking dumb or have no lives they have never seen the outside, and this is in the early bronze lobbies, I dont even wanna talk about gold and plat lobbies...

the hong kong server is the worst it would sometimes queue you up without a team meanwhile other players gets a team there was also a time when i got queued up on a 1v1 lobby 12 times. it was basically free rp because some of the players were bots but 2 of those 12 matches were cheaters

High is ping suck. to play against or play with i once closed a door behind me to heal it was good 3 seconds of the door being close and i almost died because the bullets were hitting me threw the door
Switching servers is normal in Pakistan, we never had a proper server.
Higher ping is 100% an advantage, if you think it's not, you just don't know how to abuse it.

these bots are also infiltrating london mixtape servers for some odd reason. played the other day and kept finding them either on my team or on someone elses
Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if EA was behind the bot farms themselves. I mean they do love money. Create a problem then sell people the solution. (Make a level caps then sell bots for money to bypass the level cap)
