@@jaylonchung9528 don't get me wrong I have a GTI myself so it's not meant as hate towards those cars, but honestly anyone can afford it 😅 as long as you aren't a fool like me and drive 50k km per year and get caught speeding multiple times a year (most costly) it's not that expensive.

On Golf R's there's a race+ mode BTW, just hit race mode once, then a second time it will go into race+ making exhaust sound a lot louder than just race mode. for both DSG and Manuals.

I Think with an ECU tune you can achieve that. Not that big of a deal I guess
Sports mode, traction control off, foot all the way down on the brake and full throttle, that’s factory launch control, not as aggressive sounding as a tuned launch control though.
@@Dino3AM Doing the launch control on my mk5 will do it. What I want to achieve is that sound. My launch control is like an accelerated idle. In the video it is charging turbo

They look so nice, but the 4 cylinder ones sound awful. Gimme one with a VR5 or a VR6 all day.
Mine is one of the few I like. mk6 GTI DSG with ECS Intake, APR k04, APR downpipe and Magnaflow Exhaust. Drones some under load, but actually sounds aggressive and not annoying.
My mk6R though is definitely getting a 2.5T swap. If the VR6 wasn't so damn heavy...

The mk8 CS thst replaced it with just a flash and no mods just factory items still is now 400/403bhp
