The body feint is definitely the first one I want to fully master. It looks so simple to do when I see messi do it, but anytime I go up to a defender and I try it, it doesn't work as he does it.
@@tikikeram850 maybe difficult for you.. even kids are expert doing body feints .. and for tall people there are many other skills that actually work but harder than body feint.
@@seethalkumar5350 doing body feints themselves is not the problem, applying in a 1v1 with the correct timing and speed is where the learning process gets intense
He is the greatest dribbler of all time. I've never seen a player dribble 4 5 players at once, almost every single game for more than a decade now. even now At 35 he remains the best playmaker in the field whenever he plays. So many years of him doing the same moves, using the same techniques, but when players go up against him .. they're dead ☠️
What skill move does Messi usually and most effectively use to dribble past so many defenders? I always see him do it so well but what move is he doing? Is he using a Messi chop, a flick, croqueta?

The last move with the delay is simply genius. Messi, Salah and James Harden (yep, the NBA player) .... they're so skillful that their moves seem effortless and sometimes in a sort of slight slow motion ..... yet ask the defenders tasked with the almost impossible mission of marking these guys what they think of them.
Great analysis and it really helps new player to put a label/name to the move. However, the challenge here is speed of the maneuver and the speed of the decision making process of when to use any of that. Keep training.
@@Ranaji863 Does Ronaldo even dribble nowadays? He just shows some skills which are just for showboating and can't even beat a single defender. He left all his skills and dribbles at Manchester united
Doing all these moves yourself in training and doing them while running with the ball with the whole team trying to stop you is a completely different game altogether and then to do it for the last 20 years is nuts. Only one man has done it and thats Messi.
Thank u this really helped me I was playing in my school in winter I was wearing boots cuz it was snowing and a jacket and I dribbled 5 players and scored from the middle of the field
How to be calm like Messi even in very pressured situation? Please make a video on this topic bro I know you have some videos on this topic but not exactly this, so please explain it in more details bro🥰😃😀
@simplysoccer great video - thanks! btw: they might be simple but the tricks are hard to do because of the high speed they are being done, except the one he does while standing... :-D
- if you have to THINK about what skill you're going to do, you've already failed. These things have to come instinctively. - all skills / dribbles, depend on the situation you are in at that specific moment. - for the body feints case.. those will not work unless you are a fast and skillful player. Your opponents need to FEAR you, and therefore commit early to a direction. If you are not known to be a fast and skillful player, they will not fall for your body feint because they have no reason to. Also, you have to understand why some types of dribbles may work for Messi but not for you. Messi has a low center of gravity, keeps the ball close to his feet, is fast and agile. Therefore the skills he uses are adjusted to those parameters. Don't expect to be able to play like Messi if you are tall, slow, and have a loose ball control.
it was Maradona chop. if you notice Maradona always use this skill by his left foot to beat opponent and it is his main skill. The advantage of this skill is when you chop the ball it would go away from your body by more acceleration than normal touch. lower ball's acceleration it easier for your opponent to touch or clear the ball. just notice Maradona you'll find he is master of all time of this skill. although Pele ever use this skill as well but it's not his main skill. (sorry for my english. just hope you get it.)
the messi chop its actually created by pele well he ust maked everything better in football/soccer whatever you call it and its actually called the "hip chop" since you move your hip in a very similiar way to a normal chop
He is simply the GOAT. He doesn't showboat, every move he does has a purpose, unlike Ronaldo and others. Here it is in his own words ua-cam.com/video/ATEuBm3Zi1w/v-deo.html
