Love the cigar box!
Your Wife and Mother are such a delight! They add joy to my day and make me feel good! Always treat your mom and wife with respect. Your moms health is important she won’t be around forever!!! Thank You All!❤😂😅😊
Such a joy to hear you two giggle together!! Call me ‘guys’ all day long, who cares what people say. Y’all are genuine and that’s what matters! ❤️❤️
My dad was a shoe cobbler. He done a real good job
Grandma Ventures can say she loves it. Always has because she does. Love you guys . So funny and relaxed.
I'm telling you two make my day, laughing out loud with you GOD Bless all of you.
You guys crack me up! These units I have really enjoyed being a retired nurse and laughing out loud when you try to guess what the medical equipment is used for. You come very close alot of the time but the talking back and forth with you two trying to figure it out and then laughing when you do brightens my day.. keep up the laughs.. Those sharp spoons I believe are grapefruit spoons
I think y’all should say exactly what you want to the way you do and not change a thing about yourselves. Because we love you both and all just like you are
You two brighten up the drab winter. I love Wades laugh.
You take all the time you need to open the box's ..We love to watch
No spices as I have a health condition and no acids either including dry wines, I dont like dry wine anyway lol. My maiden name is Rushen, MR lol. As for my favourite item in today's video I really like the Scotch Whiskey box and the first lamp which lovely. There were many things that caught my eye but I cant remember many of them, I've not been up to much today but I did like some of the glass bowls the cream one and the one with the blue pattern on the base. So many were different to what we had seen before but then this unit keeps giving surprises and there a huge variety of things that I have no clue what they are but I try and guess along with you both. Have a lovely break and enjoy yourselves please. Take care and stay safe please my friends God bless you all love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
You are correct Grandma V! This is definitely a wine barrel faucet, gotta love it
You & grandma ventures can say I love that & guys all you want it doesn't bother me a bit 😄
Don't let people tell you what to say, that's what makes you who you are.people are so petty. And rude.. love your vidios..
Agreed, I watch you and your mom are so down to 🌎 earth and Real! You do you!😊
The 'cigar cutter' with a chicken on it, is to cut the top off of a soft boiled egg. And keep saying what you want to say..."I Love it" and "guys" is just fine!! And the metal device in the group of kitchen gadgets that has a handle and a closed 'box' on the end is called a Soap Saver. Tuff times you would save bar soap, store it in the box, and you could use it to swish is water to wash dishes. Love the old kitchen utensils!!
(20:39) I've never seen such a mixer. It can be used both as a hand mixer and a stand mixer. Absolutely gorgeous too.
Hard to choose what I like but I think the funniest was the nutcracker
You "guys" just be you!! I "love" watching the videos.. love you guys!!
Awww poor Grandma V. Sympathize. I like a touch of hot. Its not for ice or sugar - it is for escargot. You hold the shell with that and pull out the escargot. It was a thing in the 1970's. They came with round metal dishes with places for 6 escargot (snails in English), in garlic butter sauce. If he grabs from you Grandma V, you can still send him to the corner until he behaves. lol
Love how good you 2 get along & are so funny 😄
Love your videos so much….please don’t change a thing!!
G’day cobber Iv been following you now for a awhile love it can’t get enough! But with the time difference between australia and USA is 17 hours so I miss your lives 😟but I watch all the repeat show love grandma she is a legion! Keep it going strong cobber 🇦🇺👍🇦🇺
Hello Ventures fam. Just wanted to tell u thanks for making me smile. I love ur laugh & giggle. Ur relationship with ur mom is awesome. I am lucky to have a similar relationship with my daughter. Thanks again
Maybe the flat cases were for disassembled pool cues?
The 'cigar cutter' is called an egg topper. To cut the tops off of poached eggs.
The long handled colored sharp spoons are grapefruit spoons.
The 'candy dish' is the lid for a square glass (Pyrex?) serve and store dish.
Kudos to you for not killing spiders. My husband and I also just put them outside in the warm weather or let them loose in the basement during our Michigan winters. They keep other bugs in check.
My mom use to pick them up and always would put them outside unless it was winter then they went on her house plants. I'm terrified of them and unfortunately I can't put them outside
Do you check w a black light to see if items glow w uranium? Some white..cream..jadite..clear ...
amber... turquoise can glow a green color. Its awesome! Lot of people really collect uranium glass. Might be a good selling point...😁😁😁
Great video! Thank you!
Hey, Grandma Venture. I heard you say you don't like looking at yourself. Why? You are a very lovely woman both physically and so charming. I really enjoy watching you and your son. My son abandoned me for no reason several years ago. I haven't seen him in over two and a half years. Also he has two little girls and a baby boy born this past September. I have never seen him.I don't understand because we were always so close until he met a woman of the domineering type. Still, she seems to be great mom and wife, also a good worker. Please, appreciate your relationship with Wade. You certainly seem to do so. I am only three years younger than you, born in 1958. I have a son and a daughter. My beautiful girl does NOT like it when I put myself about my looks. I do enjoy your interaction with your son and I am happy for you and it doesn't take away from you. It's just that sometimes it makes me sad, understandable. SO CUT IT OUT! You are beautiful. Enjoy the winter. Smiles
YOU CAN SAY WHATEVER YOU
WANT !
ASHLEY, GRANDMA V and WADE ARE THE BOMB!
I’d love to have a cup a tea with grandma V:)
That last lamp base at 5:50 needs a stained glass shade (one with a hole on top), and a fancy finial. The bases are cast bronze, which is a mixture of different metals, including brass.
Well, Wade you only said "guys" 20 times, give or take one or two. And I love it when mom says "love" even it is for everything. It makes me laugh!
Love all the old kitchen ware in this box.
love watching your mom
she seems to make you happy🎉
I just love you mom so much! She is so funny!
The ting honey spoons were my favorite!!! Unique video!!!!
Yes I make my own pies, and I like those clear glass pie plates the best because you can see how brown your bottom crust is getting.
Hi Grandma Ventures and Wade
You both are on fire today 😄 I love watching your banter back and forwards. You say as often "Guys" and "I love it".
That's you, it doesn't matter what others think 👍
You guys brighten my day !
26:49 yes, that is for a wine/beer cask as the wine is aging. Or when it is ready to serve they used to have them in the taverns.
(25:53) I think it's more likely to be from the 70's. Super cute and funny!
I love your mom and you together lots of laughs
Wade, just watching on you tube Jan 4. There was an a pot that has a small lip that is flat and faces the inside of the pot. Your mom handed you a top that was sort of oval. It had a weight, handle and brace on it. The 2 go together. It is a pressure cooker. That is the top. Lid goes into the pan side ways and then you turn the handle on the top and it seals the pot. From about 1950.
Those purple plates are called. Noon Tea Snack plate. They should have small tea cups with them??? With the same design. My Aunt had some like those. Happy hunting my friend.
29:40 The silver cutter ; is it to take the top off a hard boiled
egg ?
Hope you guys have a wonderful time!! Be safe
Yes you can see the purple 💜 they are beautiful
The beautiful orange fire king we use to get in oatmeal as a free gift when you bought the oatmeal. Now this was back around or during WWll. We use to rush to see witch piece we would get from the oatmeal box. That was a long long time ago one of my fondest memories as a child.
Lol I have the best time with yall you said my name and I started blushing lol now I want that blue bottle lol and all the lamps lol I love to laugh with grandma
love that silver covered dish. That big cake plate would probably fit that big cake dome you found.
That brander can be used to mark your steak
R raw
M medium
W well done
😁😁😁😁
Grandma V
I saw him grabbing a those small spoons yes 😎
You should keep a big spoon next to you and if he grab stuff out of your hands again, you hit him over his fingers 🥄🥄🥄
That 2 round Pyrex dished that mom said could be a lid, looks like tart dishes or you can make meat pies in them. Not lids
The colored spoons with the leaf design are ice tea spoons. My mom had a set.
The ridged"soap dish" is a lid for a small pyrex refrigerator dish. I have one but don't see a way to send you a picture
I love these videos, y'all make my day ,l love the way y'all are so spontaneous, l never laughed so hard,l love y'all!!!!❤❤💯🤣
When I am having a bad day and feeling down, I start watching your videos and then before I know it I am smiling…
love the wood wall shelf
I love the green little dishes
Pinocchio father was a toy maker. You mates are awesome.
Love the video . I laughed so hard . Can’t wait to see more . Love you guys :)
That branded is to mark steaks. M= medium R =rare. May have been used in a restaurant. The "hamburger flipper" is for a restaurant as well.
You are so delightful. Many interesting items so different from the next... your backyard is beautiful and you use the area well. Beautiful Oregon,,,I lived in Beaverton some years back and Oregon is beautiful. We drove and saw many lovely places. I took my daughter was little then to the park and the geese just followed us around nearly attacking us. Portland was interesting and Oswego with the houses on stilts..Enjoy your trip and the games. Blessings, Margaret n Iceland
Yes Wade we can see the color. They are beautiful 👍
Putting myself as a teacher, I want you too write a hundreds times, mates. Just messing with you. LOL. Saying guys isn't so bad. You and grandma Ventures are so cute when you laugh together.
When you had a little thing with the girls and had snacks that is what the sweet little purple trays were used for. Your cobbler kit that long stand is for the shoe plates. Really interesting to see one used.
You have the Extra large plate today shown in #42:22 that would go under the Extra large heavy cake cover from yesterday's unboxing.
The whiskey box is G.B. and from the 1950-60s and is around $80-$120. And the last 2 items you showed are meat grills for hamburgers or bacon.
Quirky. Did the old owner of these storage bins spend all his spare time at auctions ?
I collect the kitchen utensils that have the advertisement in the metal handle. It all started with a spoon from Seattle's Olympic Hotel....
Spice tolerance extreme! My grandmother actually tried to find out how much spice my husband could handle and never did find one that overwhelmed him, including "ghost pepper ", to which he only started to sweat after the fifth taco loaded with them!
My oldest son is the same, my twins and myself are habanero and flavorful versus heat.
Yes, you can see some of the purple in those "trays"
I love that 7/11 (7up) glass too Wade! LOL
That nutcracker, LOL!
That Lavoris bottle you had in that last batch of bottles is a mouthwash from back in the day. I remember the brand from the 70's maybe even 80's. Heck for all I know it could still be around. It sure is a pretty & fancy bottle, especially for mouthwash but they made nice bottles for almost everything back in the day.
I found the ladies legs nut cracker on Ebay for $65! If you auction it off, you could get more than that for it, depending on desirability from your viewers. I would definitely auction it live. Good luck!
The Henderson-Ames Company origins go as far back as 1866. In 1866, Frank Henderson (10/8/1841-1/3/1899) and his partner, Charles Brown operated a saddle and luggage business. In 1873, Henderson added regalia and uniforms to his company’s products. In 1893, Henderson merged his company with Ames Sword Company forming what became The Henderson-Ames Company. In 1895, Henderson built one of Kalamazoo’s well-known landmarks, Henderson Castle. The company produced military uniforms during World War I and continued into the 1920s. The company hit hard by the Great Depression, merged with the Lilley Company of Columbus, Ohio and all operations moved from Kalamazoo to Columbus
I love spice as long as it doesn't spoil the food
That's a lot of shoe lasts and bits and pieces. This locker has had so many different things in it. The purple glass plates look to be art Deco, very nice :)The nutcracker made me laugh, my Grandad had one in England - we seem to have different ones than you do, more like this style not the stand up soldier looking ones you have, I have a crocodile one somewhere. The rooster thing is for taking the tops off boiled eggs :) He's a terrible grabber LOL
What fun! The "brander" is for Rare , Medium and Well Done on your steaks
The branding iron is for steaks, rare, medium and well done.
The "cigar cutter" is for cutting small veggies like green onions or chives, parsley, etc.
Watching UA-cam. Several hours after you were live on the channel. One of these days, maybe ill actually see you in the moment you're broadcasting.😘
Hang on to those lamp bases, you may come across some tiffany style globes to go with them...!!
The bottle with the “crown lid” is from Lavoris Mouth wash! Man is that a flash back!
Grandma v is right. The tongs are for snails ( escargot) not ice.
The clear plater that was with the fire King stuff is one of the cake plate that the covers go to
Yard looks great! It is winter yard is not suppose to be clean.
❤❤❤❤❤Thank you for sharing your video with us and have a great evening!
Yeah a globe will look great
And I would buy it with a globe on it
I think the lamps have shades in the things you have gone through. I remember seeing some really lovely glass ones.
Loved the food mixer, but to expensive for me.xxx
Love the cobbler box itself!
Wow, very next box has the missing accessories! Incredible find!
The thing you said could be a cigar cutter is a boild egg cutter. Place on the to of egg and snip together and it takes off the top.
large glass tray with the legs is the bottom to a cake dish. Should have a clear class cover or may have a stainless steel cover. Not positive. My grandmother had both
Those long handled spoons with the leaf bowl is Ice tea spoons. The little short handled spoons are dessert spoons.
❤❤ That was a fun video. So many interesting items. Thanks. M USA
Wade - I think you were wrong. I think Grandma V was right - it was a snail shell holder.
Butcher's broom is a plant. The root is used to make medicine.
Butcher's broom is used for hemorrhoids, gallstones, “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis), and for symptoms of poor blood circulation such as pain, heaviness, leg cramps, leg swelling, varicose veins, itching, and swelling. Butcher's broom is also used as a laxative, as a diuretic to increase urine output, to reduce swelling.
Both of my sons were asthmatic as children, and butchers broom was one of the remedies I found most effective for any breathing or lung ailment. Very good medicine!
I so enjoy watching you daily , you GUYS make me laugh. But Wade, being the son, you need to believe what your Mother says on what items are. A very high percentage of the time she has guessed it right. You will learn a lot by her experience. 😉🤶👵Keep up the good work, and try to have more online auctions to sell your fabulous items!
Maybe those boxes are coffins for VERY thin people. LOL
Hey Wade I was wondering where you put the Acorn birdhouse from the craft unit
Hi wayde and grandmar venchers .thank you for giving .us wonderful video
I would be interested in the one candlewick candle holder, can’t find it on your store links.
Could the thin boxes be for tennis racquets?
Are those purple glass things trivets?
