I've been trying out this mentality this year. Back in highschool I used to be sooo needy and lame whenever I had a crush. I have 2 good female friends in college now and it's been remarkable seeing them try to get closer to me when I consciously keep myself slightly more distant than I naturally would be. honestly i wouldn't recommend putting women in the friendzone. They always lose interest after like 2 weeks which was usually my goal since i wasn't into them in the first place.
