Tamiya Australia is an Instagram page and UA-cam channel dedicated to all things Tamiya. I have been collecting Tamiya RC products for over 35 years and have amassed a large collection of runners, new in box and shelf queens..

Tamiya Incorporated (株式会社タミヤ, Kabushiki gaisha Tamiya) is a Japanese manufacturer of plastic model kits, radio-controlled cars, battery and solar powered educational models, sailboat models, acrylic and enamel model paints, and various modelling tools and supplies. The company was founded by Yoshio Tamiya in Shizuoka, Japan, in 1946.
The company has gained a reputation among hobbyists of producing models of outstanding quality and accurate scale detail. The company's philosophy is reflected directly in its motto: "First in quality around the world". Tamiya's metal moulds are produced from plans with the concept of being "easy to understand and build, even for beginners". Even the box art is consistent with this throughout the company. Products currently commercialized by Tamiya include (toy and collectibles): scale plastic model cars, aircraft, military vehicles, motorcycles, figurines, radio-controlled cars, trucks, and tanks. Tamiya also produces materials and tools, including enamel paints, acrylic paints, airbrushes, aerosol paint, and marker pens.

Tamiya needs to rere the original Wild Willy from 1982 with blister packs in the box and perhaps an ESC but nothing else changed. The sales would go through the roof and Tamiya shareholders would be delighted.

I would love to see a Nissan 180SX so I can replicate my car back in Australia which Ive had for 24yrs, the NSX is a must for me to purchase.
Yeah, I wish Tamiya would do the 180sx as a body.. I have a HPI RPS13 on the shelf, but its not Tamiya.. One day 🤞🤞
@tamiya_australia please show it even for 5 seconds. Here in Malaysia I can get the Ford GTHO and some Ford and Holden V8 Supercar shells but it's for a 200mm wheel base so no good for me.
You need to add the brand new GT3 body Porsche.

G’day mate, as your first thumbs up, I would like to say nice video. It’s great to get all the latest info for your Tamiya rc car.
I bought the new CW01 Mitsubishi Pajero a couple of weeks ago, so I’ve built it up. Just a reminder this is my third CW01 but I broke this chassis by tightening the front body mounts to hard. Just be careful if you can be heavy handed. 😵💫

You'll be able to just get the body as a spare part soon enough.. I need more TT's like i need a second head hahahah...

Lots of good stuff coming. I am kind of torn on Citroen DS though, it is odd and quirky which I love but I think I am going to have to see one built before I buy on. The decals look like they could be an absolute nightmare to get on there and keep them on there!
