Just a fun little anecdote, once he was stretching for a performance (with Astro), he started stretching his fingers and said "cause the fingers are dancing too", he puts everything into it and it shows 💜

Honestly, I would say Rocky is one of the best kpop dancers, its just that he's underrated.

Ah, welcome to Aroha and Rocky's fandom (we call ourselves Pebbles lol). In the first clip he was about fifteen or sixteen, because it was predebut (the guy in black dancing with him was the choreographer). In Crazy Sexy Cool, Rocky was 18 (song released 2017, Rocky born 1999) but it's such a good choreo. Seeing your reaction was a lot of fun! Definitely check out more of Rocky's stuff. I really do think you'd like the INK 2018 intro stage with Astro's dance line, which includes other rapper Jinjin and Bin (who also has had some classical dance training -- he's the other one who does the pirouette in Again/Should've Held On). Also the dance cut from the Always You MV is very short but so satisfying to watch as well. Astro's dance line totally kills it there too. :D Also the entire dance practice for With You and Moonwalk is fun (it's one of their DDOCA videos) just because you can see Rocky doing some ballet tricks while they're messing around during dance practice.

Yes Rocky!!!!! He is amazing. Thank you for reacting and appreciating him. His height is 5'10, he is middle height in Astro as they have members from 5'7" to 6'1". The other members who are part of the dance line are Moonbin (all black in Crazy Sexy Cool and 5'11") and leader Jinjin (rapper with deep voice). Moonbin is a natural born dancer but I can't remember if he had any formal training, but Jinjin studied dance in school. They can also both do pirouettes like Rocky. The other members are good dancers as well as you can see from their synchronization. Check out Moonbin's dance covers as well: Wanna Be, 24Hrs (solo performance), to name a few. Thanks!
I wish UA-cam had a personal counter on how many times you watch a video cause I can not even begin to imagen in what number would I be for this video. It is just so satisfying! Watching someone else fall in love with Rocky's talent. Pure entertainment.
Thank you so much for reacting to Rocky! He's one of my favorite artists because of the blend of dance styles he knows and uses. He's been training in dance (including ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop), acrobatics, and taekwondo since he was a small child and his body control and details really reflect that. I would love to see you react to more of his dance videos like his recent Bicycle cover, his YYY series, his participation in 1theK's dance war (he got 2nd but he had the highest judges score every round), and the dance choreography he's done with his friend Chani from SF9. He can also sing like a boss (check out his cover of Bruno Mars Grenade) and composes songs (check out his guide versions of No I Don't and When the Wind Blows, both of which he composed for Astro). And he can rap (listen to his rap part in One and Lights One, and his solo songs Have a Good Day and Star) and that's just a taste of his many talents!
2 additional comments. #1) The other Astro members with a lot of dance training are MoonBin (I don't know what particular styles he's trained in, but he and Rocky trained together since they were 11 and 10 respectively so presumably he has some classical training) and JinJin whose specialty is house dance. A great place to see the "Dance Line" together is the Always You dance performance video and their INK concert opener to Remember by Katie, both of which the three choreographed together (and both of which have some fun surprises ;D). #2) Rocky's not actually that short, the rest of Astros just really tall. He's about 5' 10" and he's part of the "short line." Their tallest member is about 6' 3" and their shortest is about 5' 7" or 5' 8". Despite that, they do a good job of minimizing height differences in their choreo.

If you really like Rocky's dancing, may I suggest Astro's "Moonwalk", "Baby", "Blue Flame", and "Again" dance practices and some of his covers like "Bicycle" and "Criminal", "Close to Me", "Keep Up", "Move Mountains", etc. Your reactions were a delight! For me personally, his dance has the ability to translate so much emotion I can feel it in my body while I watch, even if I don't understand the words to the songs. Thank you for covering him and letting the world in on what Aroha (Astro's fanbase) have known all along, that Rocky is an absolute incredible talent that more people need to know about! 💜 Oh, and just a fun trivia fact, two years ago, Rocky said he was up to six pirouettes at one time and his goal was 10 within a few years after that! 😃
