Gotta love topwater bite! Topwater is good early morning either a walking bait, frog, or buzz bait. Once the sun comes up that bite will die down. All about adjustments after that, those fish love to move around. Good vid.
Thanks brother. Yeah, that topwater bite shut off at about 7:30. After that, I tried to find some out deep but couldn’t. Fishing out deeper doesn’t have that snot grass, which is nice. But I found some more up shallow in the shaded areas. I’ll have to learn how to fish Tuckertown a little more and be as good as you brother.
@@dvangfishing If you ever want to join me i'll show you how to pick apart that place. I'll probably go back in the spring as I got some other places I want to fish.
i love that spot for catfish but i could not figure out the bite there a month ago - makes sense they'd hit topwater as the water is never clean enough to see
Yeah, I usually avoid Tuckertown because of that snot grass but it might just be my new favorite place. Lol. It can be tough trying to figure them out once the topwater bite turns off but this is a place of patience. The whole day, i just kept telling myself to be patient.
Putting in the work 👌. Which Steez rod model are you tossing that Senko around with? I've been using my Steez Fire Wolf with a solid tip for light wacky rigs - Flick Shakes.
Any chance you’d share what that rod and reel were you used for the wacky? What color was that worm? I have a bc I use for my wacky too and it works really good. But the reel is a cheapo. Haven’t found a nicer one I like yet for it.
Congrats on the great day at Tucker town. Tucker town is a little known jewel.
Yes Sir. Thank you.

It was an awesome day on the water. Im using my Steez Hermit to throw the senkos, paired with the 23 Daiwa SS Air.
Nice video the set you use for senkos is the Hermit and the tatula sv tw 70 2021? How is this reel? Thanks
Thank you. Yes, Daiwa Steez Hermit but the reel is a 23 Daiwa SS Air. I love that reel.

@@jasoncowick2376 it’s the Daiwa Steez Hermit paired with the Daiwa SS Air. Senko is a Yamamoto Pumpkin Green and Black flakes.
Gotta say it doesnt get any better than that. They love a frog out there too.
Yes SiR!!!! I did throw a frog too but for some reason, I didn’t get a single hit on it. They wanted that OSP Yamato JR.
Those fish are crazy long!
Yes they were. That 4lber fooled me. Hahaha.
Those blowups are awesome. What topwater bait is that?
@@shakeyhead0079 thank you. It’s a OSP Yamato Jr.
@@dvangfishing thank you, that's one heck of a topwater video!
@@shakeyhead0079 thank you buddy
Damn you got some badass gear my hmong brotha! What kind of water shoes are those? I been looking for some.
@@kue1master thank you sir. The shoes are some cheapo water shoes from Amazon but they work really well. They’re call Sport D/S.
hey what's the maxium weight lure are you using on Daiwa steez a 2?
I’ve punched some mats with a 1oz weight plus lure. So maybe just a little over 1oz.
@@dvangfishing Daiwa said "7-50" grams but I'm not sure if I can throw lure that weight around 40 grams?
@@isar6068 I’m sure you can.
@@dvangfishing Okay thank you
Every Mung I know buys the reel protectors! What is it with yall Mungs?
@@Carolinaboi313 Do you mean Hmong? If so, for me personally, I do it to protect my investment. I’m dropping $400-$500 on a reel, I wanna protect it.
