How do you like that reel?
Come on guys let’s get him ther🎣
@@Hellcat.wshorts thank you!!!! 🙏
Trying to decide, should i get these or the 2024 Steez SV TW?
@@gazziesukor4859 I guess it depends on what you’ll be using it for. For smaller applications, I’ll go with the 24 SV. For bigger applications, I’ll got with the A2. I have both reels and really enjoy them both.
@ thanks for sharing, i kinda like the design on the A2 more actually but the 24 SV seems smoother. Feel wise i prefer the 24 SV and asthetic wise i prefer the A2. Guess u're right on the safe side i'll go for the A2. Thanks again 👍🏼
@ no problem.
😂
@@tobywonkinoby8916 😆
How does this palm compared to the steez a2? It looks quite long. What about getting your index finger around the front and under the levelwind? Is it easier on this or the steez a2? Thanks!
@@tobywonkinoby8916 I feel like the Metanium is a lot smaller in the palm but it sits a bit taller on the rod. It’s not as low as the Steez in my opinion.
I love fishing
@Rebecca-qs7mc me too!! 😀
What Steez Real Control model are you using in this video? Is it the 7'3" solid tip and if so please, please, please, give ne your opinion on it. What is its real working weight range lite and heavy max. Everything you can tell me good and bad please.
@@TBstr8nsty it’s not a Real Control rod. The first fish I caught, I was using the Steez Machine Gun Cast type 1 66M. Second fish was on a Steez Harrier 610H. Fourth fish was on a Steez Hermit 64L.
@dvangfishing thank you. I'm not so versed with these models, but have the Steez AGS 2021 line to be fantastic. I'm wanting more of this line and the Real Control Steez AGS 7'3" solid tip, as well as the 2021Steez AGS The Sensor 7' solid tip both casting models. Problem is no videos of anyone using them and no reviews.
@ that’s true but I’m sure you can’t go wrong with Daiwa’s high end gear.
So you toss it nice bone head
Finally, an actual “quality” fish release and not people throwing a fish onto concrete from 50 stories high or something.
@@bass-a-roo I respect fish. They are my friends.
@ me too
@ LOL 😆
Noice👍🏻
@@BigBass-xf5yi thanks.
How does it compare to the met dc and new steez?
Man, that’s a tough one. I really enjoy the Met DC. Casting and reeling. It’s probably one of the smoothest reel I have. I really enjoy the new Steez SV too. You can’t go wrong with either or.
@@dvangfishing so you would take the newer steez over the limited?
Do a new one! Best arsenal on UA-cam
@@russhaight3225 thank you. I’ll definitely have to do a new one. I’ve had a couple request for it too. I’ll get it together soon.
Love you
👍
woud you say the moon gazer is more of mh or more of a heavy?
@@russhaight3225 to me it feels like it’s a true MH.
@ how do you compare it to an adrena or destroyer?
@ which model adrena and Destroyer are you referring to?
@@dvangfishing I just meant the rod lines in general, if you have used them all.
@ gotcha. I’ve use them in the past. I enjoy the Evergreen Orion line up the best as I’ve sold all of my Destroyer and Shimano rods. I have 3 Evergreen Orion now and probably wouldn’t get rid of them. I have the Black Rose, Moongazer, and Lighting Strike.

@DerekSimmons-e4g what kind?

@AaydenLove gotcha!!

@@PaulBartVeenboer-di7jq thank you!!!!
I recognize that pine tree in the water. One of my absolute favorite spots. We're gonna run into each other one of these days brother.
@@alexmurphy7472 yes sir. Good ole Tuckertown Reservoir.
Looking to get this rod for 110 and 110+. You think it is the right rod? Other option is the C66M werewolf but I dont like the red on that. Heard the machine gun l is a little soft for jerkbaits?
@@kongvang4724 I think it’ll definitely get the job done. I use it for topwater tremble hooks, cranks, and jerkbaits.
@dvangfishing thanks for the reply. My current JB rod is a MB X7 Cyclone Advantage. It's a little stout for JB but still amazing. I'm looking forward to a tad softer as long as its not more ideal for cranks. Might be an expensive gamble but I guess buy to try.
Nice bass😊😊
@@wigginsauctioneersllc1883 thank you!!!
Fingerprint magnet?
@@tobywonkinoby8916 surprisingly, it’s not.
Which Orion are you using? Degel ?😊
@@Notch_bfishing in this video it’s the Moongazer.
@@Notch_bfishing I have the Black Rose, Moogazer, and The Lightening Strike. I did have the Degel at one point too but sold it.
@@dvangfishing Okay thanks for the answer, do you think the Steez 24 can go on the Degel and launch 5g?🤔
@ heck yeah. That’ll be a great setup.
Hii good video bro your Valkyrie is 74H+
@@dakk_s3994 thank you buddy. Mine was the 72H.
Are you going to pick up one of the steez real control rods series?
Those are some nice rods but I think I’m pretty satisfied with my setups right now.
That wind!!!!!
@@laujkiatong I know bro. It was pretty bad.
I see you put that a-rig I gave you to good use. Funny I was just at that spot on Monday.
@@JustLewisNoClark I sure did. That hybrid bass destroyed it.
@@dvangfishing destroyed ? Like unusable anymore ?
@@JustLewisNoClark he bent up some of the wires. I had to straighten them back out but I can still use it.
The first part of your morning fishing. You was in the right spot. The crappie there actually likes anything with a curly tail. Let it sink all the way down and slowly reel back. If your boys like to throw and slowly retrieve back crappie jig. That is the spot to be at. The crappie roam back and forth at your exact spot. They tend to stage near the cement wall where the traffic is coming through. On the other side on the public land. There are a few brush piles near the shoreline.
Thanks for sharing this great information. We will definitely have to try that out. I’m not too great at crappie fishing and I don’t have livescope nor FFS.
What BFS setups do you use?
Daiwa Steez Hermit paired with a Daiwa SS Air
What rod and reel combo is that I want it
@@JACK_NOLAN-t5g Daiwa Steez Hermit with a Daiwa SS Air.
@ thanks mate
The famous lick creek isn’t far from there. I don’t know if you have livescope or FFS on your boat. I can give you some location on that lake to get the boys to stir up. Without the electronics it’s a hit and miss there. Glad they had fun.
@ yeah, I don’t have livescope nor FFS on my boat. The plan is to get better graphs in the future. But any information you give, I will gladly take it. Hahahaha. Thanks brother.
How do you installed?
It’s pretty easy to install. You’ll have to open up the reel and replace a couple washers with the drag clicker kit. Super easy. It’ll come with instructions.
Would you recommend this reel for 1oz long bomb applications?
@@OverSyze I’m sure you can but majority of SV reels are used for smaller applications. It has a smaller spool so it wouldn’t hold more line like the Steez A or Steez A II.
@ thanks for your input. I was looking at the A II but the new steez is too dang sexy!
@ Yeah, the new Steez SV is very nice!!!
You’re like the only person that I know that owns Evergreen Orion, is there any chance you can recommend some Orion models and say what they’re good for? Also, if you don’t mind, could you say the best line/models of rods you’ve tried? I’m looking to get a few models of either Orion, Steez Real Control, Nories, or Raid Gladiator Maximum.
I wanna say the Orion Rods are made very versatile. Like for example my Lighting Strike is a ML+ which can throw small lures from 1/8 to big lures up to 1 and 1/4oz. I feel like I pick up this rod most of the time. I enjoy the Moongazer as well. I don’t think you can go wrong with the Orion line up.
@@bass-a-roo as for line I like Sunline Shooter.
@ Okay, thank you. I just don’t want there to be any overlap, that’s all. I’m thinking Cantata for moving bait, spinner, buzz, swimjig, crank, square bill Moongazer for bottom contact Black rose for heavy jigs, swimbait, punching, frogs The Throne for glides/swimbaits Steez RC 65 for finesse 😺👍🏽 (I got a lot of help from someone, it’s hard to find information).
@ that sounds like a great plan/setup you got there. I use my Moongazer and Black Rose for the same thing you listed.
@@dvangfishing Perfect, thanks man. Anything else you throw on the black rose? Also, I wanted to say that when I watch your vids with the smaller kids it reminds me of fishing with my girlfriend’s family or them in general (she’s Hmong), pretty cool.
I really want one.. 😊
@@EvaSpiteri you should get one. It’s a great reel.
Is it mag sealed?
@@19ZOLTAN18 No, it’s not.
Well at least you found some
@@JustLewisNoClark yup
Looks like fun!!!
@@laujkiatong it was. We’ll have to go back and some more. I need some better graphs too. I might just get livescope. Hahahah. Jk.
Is there a difference with this zillion compared to the SV TW (silver one)? I also want it for my frog rig! Thinking about pairing it with a Dobyns 736 or Expride 7’3 H
The Zillion HD has larger/longer handle, brass gears, larger knobs, and a different spool. It’s made for bigger applications. I use it for Swimbaits and A-Rigs.
@@Brandonkanzaki I did use it for my Frogs at first and then I bought the Steez A II for that setup and switched the Zillion HD to my swimbait setup.
@@dvangfishing thanks for the info! I was thinking of either a Dobyns 736 C or a Expride 7’3 XH for my rod. Any recommendations on that?
@ I think those rods should pair up good with it. I like to spend a little more and get lighter but strong rods. In this video I have it paired with an Evergreen Orion 72H+.
Love it! Bass masters appreciate their antics! Go get em!
@@jasongarling20 thank you!!!
How loud is the DC system in person? Same level as a normal reel or louder?
@@tobywonkinoby8916 I wanna say it’s about the same. The Antares DCs in my opinion are the loudest.
Sooo close! Keep on casting! Words to live by!
@@jasongarling20 thank you.
This or the daiwa steez a2?
I’ll pick this. This reel is probably one of my smoothest reel.
@ interesting! Would you say it’s a big difference or small? What about casting?
@ the size of the reels are different. The Met is smaller so it feels better in the hands. Casting wise, I feel like the Met can cast farther.
@@dvangfishing thanks! Do you feel there is a big difference in casting distance or smoothness between the two? Or is the steez just a little less?
@ I think the Steez is just a little less. You’ll definitely have to get your hands on a Met to tell. It’s a very smooth reel.
too loud ^^

@@timothybolden9955 it’s been good. I haven’t had any issues with it yet. Still smooth as butter.
I was considering this reel, but went with Antares DC MD... for now.
@@wholybatman the Antares DC MD is nice too but it is slightly heavier than the Steez A II.
The yadkin flows into falls reservoir? You sure its not the eno? Or did i just learn something today? Lol
It’s all part of the Yadkin River I believe, which becomes Pee Dee River as well.
@dvangfishing i looked it up and you are right! Lmao thats crazy two different river systems feeds falls.
@dvangfishing ive heard the eno has some big bass in it. I fish NC rivers often!
@@thegeckodon I think the Uwharrie River (from the mountains) run into it too. I heard if you go up that river you can find some big smallies.
