I was so obsessed with PS Longer Letter Later and Snail Mail No More! I wanted nails and bracelets just like on the cover haha! Now i need to find them and read them again.

I have an on off relationship with Backman. Loved Britt-Marie and Ove! Anxious People was so-so, but I didn't like Beartown, it was too slow and bored me to tears. I had dnf'd it, but it became a local book club read, a couple years later, so I read it through that time. I had an arc of All The Dangerous Things and wound up buying a physical copy I liked it that much. Great book haul.
I'm dying to pick up something else from Megan Goldin after reading The Night Swim!
I liked All the Dangerous Things so much more than A Flicker in the Dark! There is something so fun about re-reading books we loved when we were younger. I love to find nostalgia reads to scatter in throughout the year :) Hope you enjoy all your 📚!

Anxious People was amazing. I definitely don’t lean to that type of book - I’m more of a fantasy or thriller reader. But I picked it up when I wanted something more calm and “peaceful” (you read thrillers, I’m sure you understand that 😂). I was so pleasantly surprised how much I not only enjoyed the book but at how much it has stuck with me. I was literally just talking with my husband about it a few days ago - and I read it last summer!
Oh my gosh, awesome! That definitely inspires me to bump it up on my to read soon list!

For ya fantasy, I recommend the carival trilogy by Stephanie Garber. I love P.S. Longer Letter later and the sequel!! I highly recommend A corner of the universe which is by one of the same authors, Ann. M. Martin.

Try listening to Every Morning The Way Home Gets Longer and Longer on audiobook!! Its super short and then you’ll be able to break into frederik Bachman without starting with a longer one lol and yes you will probably cry 😭😭
