Noticed a lot of people asking how this song connects with Minecraft. I wrote this song to be the third part of the "Fallen Kingdom" story line. This song is about the boy in the story struggling to find "pieces" of himself / memory (remember he was very young when Fallen Kingdom happened) / his family. The song is about his relationships with people (the king and his mom) he never really got to know as a boy. (It also works really well as a love song and that's on purpose :P) This song is off my album "Pick A Universe"! Thanks for listening!
TryHardNinja | GAMING MUSIC I thought that boxes of stone would've been the next part to the fallen kingdom storyline? either way both the songs are great so keep it up haha
Corvolet5 easily can be seen as someone digging a hole to hide in, like burying your head in the ground instead of facing life. Tbh I didn’t know it was a Minecraft song the first time I heard it
By far my favourite song of the saga! Just something about the instrumentals, the style of the overall song, the beautiful lyrics... a personal favourite I'll definitely continue to come back to!
Why aren't you famous or on the radio. Your song actually has meaning, all the songs I here these days are about a bunch of loners with a boner getting dumped. You actually sing from the soul and inspire people.
+MINER15 Welcome to the WLTW-FM radio station here, we have a new song called "Find the Pieces". *The city, it runs cold todayyyyyey. Sunshine, it is shining greyyyyyyey...*
All these Minecraft songs you’ve made and other ones from different creators hold a special place in my heart, times have really changed, I just wished everything went back how it used to be, I cry sometimes listening to these songs.
It’s an amazing song with double meanings littered throughout, when I was younger I just loved the song for the rhythm, but growing older it ages like fine wine!
My theory for this song: the boy never really "knew" his family so he tries to find them or something that might help him to remember them who they were and to help with his reality.
Take Back the Night, Find the Pieces and Dragonhearted are my three favourite songs of all time, not just without Minecraft parodys. Because they aren't even parodys, they're original and sound amazing.
Man.... I wish we could go back to simpler times... When we vibes to this song like crazy people. I remember singing this In front of my school. Good times man
I've had this song on repeat for about 6 hours now, not even close to being sick of it. I love this song TryHardNinja great work and great work to everyone who helped make this! :D
Many people are confused as to how this is Minecraft related. This is the 3rd part of a Minecraft song series on Captainsparklez's channel. The first part is 'Fallen Kingdom', the second 'Take Back the Night', and the third being this, 'Find the Pieces'. They all combine into one thing to create an amazing storyline that at times does play with your emotions a little. I would highly recommend watching the music videos on Captainsparklez's channel because it will explain so much in such a cool and awesome way.
Thank you for this song. I was adopted by my step dad, and never met my father. I was shown this song after finding my father's family, and learning he passed when I was 6. I have pictures, stories, and small pieces of him, but the puzzle will never be complete because I will always long to hear his voice.
This is what happens if Aviici sang a country song. Wait, no. Weird Al is covering an Aviici song, and doing his best to imitate Aviici. I mean, either way it's a bop, so it doesn't matter.
My theory of this: So the boy is trying to find the place he grew up after remembering something. He tried to forget about it but he cannot get it out of his mind.
+Joelle Middleton Correct! The song is from the boy's point of view. He was very young when he was separated from his family. He is trying to remember his past and figure out where he comes from. Thanks for watching.
Oh God, after all these years this song is still one of the best ever. The best one for me in the Saga, the best one of the Minecraft songs and I´d go as far as to say its one of my favorite songs of all songs. I know this song is about the Fallen Kingdom Saga, but the text is so beatiful even without that knowledge. Great song and i rly hope you come to read my appreciation for your hard work.
This is by far the best song of the series, by a mile and a half. 4 years later this song is still amazing. I can list literally every part of the song that's amazing. TryHardNinja, I know you won't read this but in case you do, I just want to let you know how much this series has helped me, this song in particular. I can relate to the lyrics so much it's unreal. The best part is the chorus ("Don't know if I have ever heard you sing but I hear it..."), but the verses are wonderfully crafted as well. Thanks so much.
This is the best song ever. I listen this song everyday like 20 times. Everything is good about this song the lyrics, the beat, and ofcourse tryhard's voice.
I remember having vivid memories of my me and my family singing this song together when I was young! Thank you TryHardNinja for you commitment during this time and coming out with childhood memories and I’m sure I’m speaking for many others apart from myself!
This seems like a very nice song and its lyrics. I believe if people having trouble at home and have some depression or are lost, this song could help them. :) Anyway, I love this song a ton! Thank you for making it with all the other wonderful creators.
It doesn't have to... that was my point, just because there's trees in minecraft, does that mean that mentioning trees in a song means it's a minecraft song? Re-read the original comment, I mention that "it has no minecraft specific terms" so saying that something relates to minecraft is forgetting the point of the comment in the first place. Stfu and sit down
A lot of people I see are saying that dig straight down is connected to Minecraft and while I believe it is you could also look at “I wish I could dig straight down” as a I wish I could run and hide. At least in my head it makes sense I might be insane tho
That Song and Video is amazing and work so well together. I don't know why but i also nearly cried nearing the end of that song and video. It was amazing! Thanks so much for all of your effort.
Amazing song, and what a great way to make a song that can have many meanings to many different people. When I listen I am reminded of my father who died when I was younger. I've forgotten nearly all of him. The only thing I remember is that his hair was curly and his eyes were blue. I don't remember his voice... Every now and then I have dreams about him and I am not sure if they were memories or just a product of my imagination. Thank you for this song.
In the video, at 2:50 and 3:35, there's a list of pieces that TryHardNinja calls Life's Pieces - does anyone know anything about this? Is there a philosopher or something who's listed these?

TryHardNinja | GAMING MUSIC I really thought Boxes and Stones was the third part, but, is it the fourth or not a part of it?
TryHardNinja | GAMING MUSIC you know captinsparklez has a mine video for it
It's amazing love it both this one and the minecraft story!
It may be minecraft but I find such a deeper meaning in this song thank you
That's the beauty of most of TryHard's songs, they can be partly related to the game and still fit while having a deeper meaning.
*fit it
Same
Me too also I love your name!!!!!!!
This song ;) It’s okay
My life :/ Thank.... thank u that’s all I needed
I love how I can listen to this song and not even realize that it's a Minecraft song.
Haven't you heard his new song Shadows? It is on iTunes and it's based on assassins creed.
"And I wish I could dig straight down"
@@Corvolet5 They released an update, you can dig in real life now.
@@liamspain7133 Straight down without falling in lava?

By far my favourite song of the saga! Just something about the instrumentals, the style of the overall song, the beautiful lyrics... a personal favourite I'll definitely continue to come back to!
@Lord Indulgence I prefer the one that showed me this Quadrilogy (Take Back the Night)
In terms of lyrIcs, this is my second favorite. But because of dragon hearted’ animation, I would say this is my third favorite
I'ma have them play this at my wedding
Honestly, i cannot pick a favorite. Dragon hearted, take back the night and this one are really good. Fallen kingdom is a classic but yeah, idk.
I’d probably say Fallen Kingdom is my favorite just because the basic meaning of the song relates to me personally but this song is a close second
The beat dropped harder than the Greek economy
Haha
There was a Greek economy?
I guess the beat didn't drop since there was no beat to begin with!
*Shots fired at Greece*
whoa... Savage
Whoa My Dude you just roasted greece
You mean it dropped harder than George Bush's approval rates?
When you're finishing a 1000 part puzzle and you realize that one of the peices are missing:
Lol 😂😂
lol
Lol
This actually happened to me and the piece is still missing
I would just buy the puzzle again just for that one piece.
Why aren't you famous or on the radio. Your song actually has meaning, all the songs I here these days are about a bunch of loners with a boner getting dumped. You actually sing from the soul and inspire people.
+Jake Lenzen he is on pandora. try that.
Jake Lenzen you are so right
Modern rap sucks
Beastie Boys though...
Its a minecraft song...
@@Kiwisy It has a much deeper meaning once you look past the surface. Don't take everything at face value.
who thinks this song should be on the radio? Cuz I do because it is an amazing song and im tired of going on UA-cam for this lol

"I wish I could dig straight down" is a beautiful lyric. Can be taken literally or as a beautiful metaphor. I hope one day we all find our pieces.
It’s an amazing song with double meanings littered throughout, when I was younger I just loved the song for the rhythm, but growing older it ages like fine wine!
It's horrible how so many people don't understand the true meaning of this song
Mhm, its figuritive you have to find all the puzzle pieces to your life or restore them
IKR? The meaning is so well put, I mean, "Adventure, courage, independence, belonging, and passion" Are the "Pieces" It's so simple
Kingchris195 I know!
Chapniak not really. The pieces are his family. The relationship he never had with his mom and dad.
Kingchris195 Yeah...
My theory for this song: the boy never really "knew" his family so he tries to find them or something that might help him to remember them who they were and to help with his reality.
I have a sneaking Suspicion that you're right
Watch Captain Sparklez's short Minecraft movies about this song. (THis song is part 3 of 4)
he's finding his pieces, as we all are
Take Back the Night, Find the Pieces and Dragonhearted are my three favourite songs of all time, not just without Minecraft parodys. Because they aren't even parodys, they're original and sound amazing.
its weird that i listen to this song all the time and now its part of the kingdom saga now i never would of guessed it :O

I think it's real cool, though.

one of the main reasons that this song is so good is because of the fact it contains no Minecraft specific terms, making it usable in so many places
almost no, depends if you think the lyrics "I wish I could, dig straight down" Relates to Minecraft
Digging isn't a new concept to minecraft
Ashleigh Rowe I said it relates to minecraft -_-
It doesn't have to... that was my point, just because there's trees in minecraft, does that mean that mentioning trees in a song means it's a minecraft song?
Re-read the original comment, I mention that "it has no minecraft specific terms" so saying that something relates to minecraft is forgetting the point of the comment in the first place. Stfu and sit down
Ashleigh Rowe still, it's a minecraft song, and that lyrics references the fact your not supposed to dig straight down
A lot of people I see are saying that dig straight down is connected to Minecraft and while I believe it is you could also look at “I wish I could dig straight down” as a I wish I could run and hide. At least in my head it makes sense I might be insane tho
