My favourite would be the 30lb common one from Woodside lakes, they aren't to far away from me and definatley looking to get on them next year after your success there 👍👍
Fantastic video with some really pretty fish...I'm not surprised Danny Fairbrass approached you to help at his fisheries .....just hope some make it up north :-)
@@atijaassanali4605 no it's not. There's usually a stream running through the property, near to the pond. If no stream, water is likely harvested from the water table underground.
Awsome video Best fish Farmer in uk as doing the same job out here in France its nice to see somone realise a video on this in the uk Brilliant and Bang On 😍
hey danny , come to my local river and try to catch a carp , lets see if youre a good angler or just fishing ponds loaded with tons of fish . we got wild carp in there; they dont care about goo or anything like that so good luck ;D
That's true I love fishing for wild carp. There a challenge and there hard fighting fish. The goo and those glugs are just crap. They catch the anglers not the fish.
Hi me and tree of my mates have just stared a fishing club and we looking to get some nice scaly carp how much will it be for 6about 10lab we have about 20carp in the lake up to 34LG so looking to get 6 more as we don't have much in the club fusing at no I have 15. Members in the club in Leicester thanks for your time
Anglers really like to overestimate the sizes of their fish... my mate caught a bass once that he estimated was 8lbs and when we weighed it he was 4lbs
No, they’re not a common food source here in the UK, there is a few stories of Eastern European’s smuggling out the big ones to take home and eat, from day ticket fisheries which is a shame for the rest of us fishermen
He’s a merciless wolf Pendragon If I had an EA stamp on my Fish it would have emptied Camelot’s vaults . Best of luck Fish Farming outside the EA they took my luxury stock and put it in Thunder Bay for free. Merciless Wolf Pendragon.
Some great remarks but there are always idiotic comments from people that are clueless! If you have no knowledge DONT criticise keep up great work SIMON
why bother with all this, rivers and natural lakes already have fish in them? I don't understand how catching one of these from a commercial can be satisfying
the market has a high demand, cant imagine some one taking more then there share from public water ways that belong to everyone, probably why they bother
I can see how passionate the manager is that's the kind of people you need in this job I would love to do this job thanks for the upload
Extremely well shot, edited and massively interesting video.
Amazing how much they can grow in 6 years credit to the fishery and the constant care and correct feeding what make some of the carp real beauties
Absolutely amazing to watch, so many beautiful carp thanks for the insight - Simon Scott's the Einstein of carp fishing in the uk ☺️👌
I would still blank with that net
A fantastic insight into fish farming. Excellent stuff Simon Scott and team 👍🏻👍🏻

Really interesting! What do you feed them?
they don’t he said when there in
They do in the lake, usually pellets, boilies or sometimes even medicated boilies
My absolute dream job right there, great video lads, keep up the good work Simon and team 👏🏻👏🏻

Fab really interesting stuff and good to see the end result of hard graft, cracking fish!
Top bloke and great work to you and the team!
Sir it can breed naturally in pond ...or u injected some hormone for breeding artificially.
Hi, do you know this technique, how to inject hormones and breed carp fish?
Where does the pumped out water go and where do u get new water from
That a pretty stupid question

Plot twist, he hides the meth in fish intestines
Very good information!

Liam Derbyshire About 13 quid a pound
That was interesting
Awesome video!
There is no way that that zip linear was 15-16lb
I'd of put 8lb max on that fish
Anglers really like to overestimate the sizes of their fish... my mate caught a bass once that he estimated was 8lbs and when we weighed it he was 4lbs
Just watched a video of you catch a toad and call it a frog. So I guess he's not the only one who doesn't know what he's talking about.
Dan you made it!!
Great video!
Do British people eat the carp.... I’m curious because in Canada we have tons of them here and no one cares about them

I heard the term 'keeper' a few times when sorting the c5's and 6's. What happens to the 'non keepers' ?
my guess would be the keepers are bred and the non keepers are eaten?
Rob M none keepers are sold keepers are used for breeding
Want something like this

What a dream
Obviously they wouldn't care got the little fish
Don’t throw them into the sling it can damage their side fins
The skin of the carp is really damaged and weird
This is a mirror carp with very little scales
@@tatyanafrolova5687 or the ones with no scales are called leather carp.

Absolutely hate how they are chucking the fish into the slings. And they talk about fish care. Bullshit
These fish are pale pigs 🐷 if Simon Scott is such a good fish farmer 👨🌾 why not breed the strain that are like the black mirror rip ,
Yup really not any character in these fish but the fully scaled ones
