Picked this up, along with the core box and expansions at the UK Expo, this is rapidly becoming my favourite game at the moment, love it and I’m seriously thinking about getting the out lands set. Looking forward to other videos.
It’s a great game, so much thought has gone into each element. The terrain won me over right away, it makes the game so immersive. I’ve been playing a load of test games on the Frontier Set today using it for my own game that will be released end of next month. It works with loads of different miniatures. Must have been awesome at the Expo, hope you had a great time!
@@tabletopskirmishgames it was awesome at the expo and I got to playtest and see all their terrain. I bought a lot, and I have mate pledged for the new version and ordered all the crews and available expansions.
I didn’t think about Aliens and Star Wars but this would be perfect for those for sure! For Aliens you could make the inside of a space shop or all the corridors for the minis station, that would be so cool! Nice one 👊

Once you take it apart it all goes back in the box easily. You can even keep the smaller items built which is much better for them to keep at their best. The bigger pieces take a lot of builds (I’ve played a load of times with the Ruined Monastery in different configurations) and are robust when used with the plastic clips but I think the chairs and consoles would wear down a bit if you kept taking them apart as they are card on card. Two sets would be brilliant! You could get some serious height going on for a control tower or something.
A 2ft x 2ft mat is packed with dense terrain and great fun. 3ft x 3ft is a good size for what's included, so for skirmish games, it's brilliant. Over that size and the terrain would be more spread out and some extra scatter would be good to add.

Great looking terrain! I can imagine it would be just as good for Kill Team, Aliens, or even Star Wars games.

hi, any ideas on how to use the special plactic clips that is slightly longer and with a different end?
