Why no video of the truck operating in heavy wet weather and deep mud that get on quarries and landfill sites to show how it operates other than in dry warm conditions
At the first point, for this pressday was only one date and it has not rained. At the second point, if it would be on mud, you can not see from video how dificult the mud is. So it woul not give a correct picture how the trucks are in mudy conditions.
@@MixmotorEU not true , the trucks respond totaly different in muddy conditions , as a driver of tipper and site trucks for over 30yrs i would be able to tell instantly if this truck was capable of handling muddy and soft ground that we get every day on quarries and landfill sites , the auto geared trucks are typicaly worse on soft muddy ground than manual geared trucks, on autos the revs do not allow the traction of the drive wheels , in a manual geared truck you at least can choose a gear to get you moving again if you get bogged down . My company will be having new scania xt grab tippers x8 wheelers which we have been informed are auto gears , we had one on demonstration for 2 weeks and it rained for the best part of those 2 weeks, every visit to the landfill and quarry site was an absolute nightmare with this automatic gearbox , even with the diff lock engaged it was not able to cope as well as the geared trucks we have now
