Hi I really like the halo elites c.e. because they are much more defined in their way of fighting and resistance according to their ranks including also the way of speaking when they look at you and when they die, these details are much more defined playing in legendary. Greetings from Peru a big fan of Halo.
Something important to consider is that the H1 plasma rifle has stoppage power, causing the enemies to flinch, slow down, and not be able to immediately fire back. I don’t think the H2 plasma rifle has the same effect.

Here are my favorites from the battle of ce elites wins, the ce minors wing most matches, the spec ops elites almost losing but that come back, how the zealot survives to hits from the energy sword, and the fuel rod battle, where zealot just shot a few times than just said screw it, and melee the ultra to death. Nah that's just the weapons sandbox, Halo CE elites stats are really inflated compared to other Elites they just don't feel like that with the power of the weapons changing game to game. Also in Halo 2's case it's not that the elites are so strong it's that the player is so weak so you die instantly to anything. Halo CE elites are just really strong I would only put reach elites above them.

To me Halo 1 had better texture, sound, music and story. Halo 2 had better model and the ODST's looked better here in my opinion compared to Halo 3. All the Halo games after Halo 1 lacked the shiny effect with reflection on the armors which to me look like a bunch of plastic figures.
Every weapon from Halo CE is stronger than its successors. The needler was very deadly and had a larger magazine, shot gun hard super long range, sniper need i say more haha even the assault rifle was punching with the 60 mags. Then jn halo 3 i think it has like 20?
Not the needler because it could never lock on to it’s target in CE most of the needles would miss everything else I agree with also halo 3 assault rifle has 32 rounds not 20
Agreed! I love how realistic and proportional they look. Every other Elite design after Halo 2 seems too... "mechanical" or "robotic", if that makes sense. In general, I always hated the lack of continuity of the designs between each game (although the changes between Halo 1 and 2 seem to be the least drastic, imo). It feels more like Bungie was just tryna make their designs "cooler" rather than trying to make them make sense. :/

What's even worse is that the Arbiter looks more-or-less like he does in Halo 2, so he doesn't even look like the same species as the rest of the Elites in Halo 3. The ones in Reach aren't my favorite design, but I think Bungie did an excellent job of making them look big and intimidating, like they could actually put up a fight against a Spartan (which Elites are supposed to. In "Fall of Reach" it said that an Elite was just as strong as the Master Chief). Never played any of the games after Reach, but I don't really dig the naked-armed elites.

The damage was but lunge range in Halo 2 was ridiculous so that makes up for it.
