Did anybody else notice that blake technically lost the second he cast rishkar's expertise. The consuming abberation's power wouldve made him deck out
TRUE! CGB needs to chew out Blake in the next session to explain that Blake actually lost thanks to his arrogance and greed!
He said consuming aberration when casting the spell to make Ben mill. He drew ten because he pointed and actually chose apex devastator
@@fnbits6484 rishkar's says "draw cards equal to the greatest power among creatures you control" which was the abberation. He would've decked himself, therefore losing

Also, just a heads up, Cyclonic Rift doesn't trigger Gandalf, even if you overload it. Its mana value is still only 2.

Blake should've died from rishkars expertise, he wouldve drawn 200+ cards because of consuming aberration 😂great game tho, love the great content you guys have been making 👍

On that note, Consuming Aberration is another card I think gets overlooked a lot. I've got a gross mill deck that uses a few of them.

When you do the Apex devastator cascades, do you cast all of those first then all of the effects that trigger from the ETBs and cast effects?

Really happy to see that the Balrog was featured. It's the first video where I've seen someone build the deck. Would love to see it in action though!

Even with the Rishkar's Expertise whoopsie, the Simic BS was bananas.

@@veeclash4157When there are no cards in library you only lose when you have to draw a card but can't. By resolving the turn order Shea would lose because of mill, then Gina which would leave Ben victorious because he didnt have to draw yet 😊 hope my explanation makes sense

i played my Gandalf deck the other day and got omniciense out.. i had a blast since i could chain the card draw on Gandalf by not casting anything that my opponents had on the top xD i won by having a big boardstate and then copying Overwhelming Stampede giving my guys +14/+14

Mistakes again (Blake actually lost this game). This was SO NOT fun to watch, imagine playing it. Also, I feel like always only one player has interaction with the others in a lot of games
The One Ring is a cast trigger, not an etb trigger. Blake would still get the protection with MoM in play.

Feel like Progenitus Mimic got on the battlefield, Elesh Nkrn was on the battlefield so i believed he couldnt copy anything and the mimic would just die on etb beeing a 0/0.
No, because the Mimic doesn't have an etb. Those always (always? YES, always) start with When, Whenever, or At. The copy ability is a replacement effect that happens just right away.
1. The clone doesn't ETB it checks what is on board and becomes that creature already in play.
2. Blake decked out.
3. Lotr is so boring please stop playing with the commanders
4. Stop posting in the discord for deck ideas and bring something personal, i want to see what the cast play at their lgs or home and not what strangers on the internet want you to play
