Bottom Path isn't terrible, it's very useful for revealing stealth, while this may be bad on most of its stats, it can help non-stealth detection towers see them.
The problem is that there are much cheaper alternatives (laser gunner, ghost, and sniper) Also, helicopter becomes unviable on short maps. But who know, it may be good for the event!
@@MrDonutH2O i also think that bottom path is actually good on modes like easy where you have a shortage of money and need stealth detection fast where you can decide to go for the cheapest alternative 0-3, also since its flying every boss except eradicators cant attack it but that goes for both paths and even those that can attack the helicopter can only do that with 1 attack mainly being rocket spam

It has full map range and it can (technically) shoot through walls (also negates the use of spawner towers) 3. It has the third highest base dps in the game, only beaten out by Zed and Warship 4. It doesn’t take up tower space Those are my reasons why it’s op but if you think otherwise then just tell me.

Bottom path is more cost effective than the top path, plus it gets pierce, which admittedly it’s hard to hit two enemies at once with its guns. 1-3 is a really great way to take care of wave 19 in Expert because it’s cheaper, has more explosive damage than a 3-2 Heli. 2-5 is also really good for the wave 30 Predators with its hidden reveal.
u dont need the stealth reveal in actuality since theres like 2 towers that basically have no stealth detection, not to mention if u need stealth reveal u can either 1. just run towers that get stealth detection somewhere along the line (legit every tower has it) 2. recon drone 3. warship ability lol (rip endless) 4. lg ability lol 5. sniper ability lol 6. u can beat expert with only top paths which btw absolutely destroy everything including the predators since they have stealth detection hence bottom path is kind of garbage would've preferred if it was actually proper support instead of whatever mixed support-offense garbage this is

bottom path has a couple advantages, mainly for early game. 2-3 is cheaper than 3-2, and if you farm well enough, you can get a COMMANCHE by 26, easily dealing with most enemies. now, the stealth reveal is indeed quite useless, since if you have heli, you should also have like granger and gjugg which can see stealth. but still, bottom path has much better CE compared to top path.
so 4-x actually has around 600 DPS if you include the Lil Rockets DPS and 5-x has 1.9k dps if those rockets are included and john said he would buff the placement limit of heli and i feel like bottom is just mid it has more value tho so its better for elite or smth like that

pros : 1-2.3k dps with passive abilities 2-good for early placement cuz only 2.2k to place 3-can follow enimies through the whole map 4-good as a start and lategame 5-no placement gap taken cons : 1-very expensive to upgrade 2-placement limit 3-very bad against resurructed juggernauts unless max upgrade and its expensive (still mid) 4-not a good boss killer in endless /expert impossible maps 5-only bottom path is good for early , then you need to resell and make it top (very complex and not relaxing to use) overall its a very good tower but it has its own flaws . i like golden juggernaut more

attack helo main gun hase 1.1k dps, its passive rocket abilities have like 1.2k dps, so in total it does around 2.2 or 2.3k dps
