Step 1: grind for 3 hours to get car level 50
I came here to say the same thing. This is the worst thing ever added to Forza Motorsport
They changed it to 25 more than a week ago. You can keep going to higher levels, but at level 25 you have all upgrades available.
Still got to be level 50 to apply all upgrades so it was pointless
@@jasondavis160 exactly. You don't get comparable car point to apply the parts any earlier so there was no benefit to cutting the unlock level in half. It was absolutely pointless
FIX THE GAME
We need Forza's official tuning guide for RWD, FWD, and AWD.
Most of the kids from FH don't know what those adjustment sliders do on the upgrade parts. They just want all the upgrades immediately for max HP with all assists turned on so the game plays itself, like FH LoL.

@@anti-tryhard Literally every other Forza game lets you customize the cars immediatley. This isn't just a one-time thing either. It's FIFTEEN HOURS *PER CAR*! That would make sense if this we're a subscription based game but it's not!
Why does the Phase 1 weight reduction (literally taking the spare wheel out of the car's trunk) require leveling up to LVL12...?
It's about engagement hours, not cars. All the car people at turn 10 disappeared years ago.

Oh yes, getting every car to level 50 is so tiring. There has to be something better. Yes, I know, you can let the vehicles drive themselves and collect XP in the settings, but that can't be it.
You have such a loyal community of devoted players. I was so looking forward to you releasing a really good game. Since I didn't used to play racing sims, I actually invested 5 grand specifically for FM, upgraded my rig, bought a Playseat, and even got myself a steering wheel, all just to play competing games now.

Hey, Jamie. Love your tunes and you're usually my first go-to when it comes to downloaded tunes. To be honest, all most all of the tunes coming out of PTG are great. Your C-class 93 Cobra R tune just helped me get my first clean lap (I think on any platform...) of the Nordschleife with an 8:35.7. Not blisteringly fast, but the handling is amazing. Thanks a ton and keep up the good work!

please fix track limits on Ohio mid course pit exit and the pit lane exit on Laguna. There’s an entire turn at the end of Lagunas pit lane but the game says “nah”💀

Forza needs to scrap the car xp mechanic ASAP. Class racing is turning into a chore
Drowning is funner than leveling up cars in forza motorsport
Step 1 - Close the Game
Step 2 - Open Forza Horizon
Step 3 - Upgrade your cars in a game that does not have a trash grind to get upgrade points for your cars
Step 4 - Be racing your upgraded car in Horizon in the time it would take to get the car to level 3 in motorsport.
And get absolutely smashed in Horizon MP lol
It's not a grind IMO. The system let's you get used to using a vehicle at stock and getting familiar with it. That makes upgrade choices more informed because you can feel the difference and ascertain if it works for you or there may be an alternative option. Upgrade parts willy-nilly for pure HP and you may end up with an un-drivable mess that performs worse in consistent laps around a track. Getting familiar with the stock car by using it on tracks in Rivals mode is a great tool IMO. FH is pointless. You get rewarded just for booting up the code.
@@HazzR8 No question it is a grind, maybe it's a grind you don't mind but it is definitely still a textbook grind by definition. It takes several hours of driving a car I don't really want to drive just to be able to do what I can do from minute one in Horizon, or any other Forza game ever. I can determine what I need to do to tune my car much easier, and faster (and with better end results) by trying different upgrades back to back in at most a 3-4 minute race. I don't need hours and hours to test out an upgrade path, I (or anyone) can create race winning tunes in 20-30 minutes of testing out different stuff back to back rather than locking it behind a points system that requires hours to be invested. If car prices were 3-4x higher and there was no car points system you would get the same pace of progression without the annoyance of having to grind out car points.

I lowkey like the explanation but for anyone watched this. Know the order in which u attack building your car is totally different. It’s best to always start off with race suspension in order to dial in your alignment and ride height. Then tire package and then roll bar/chassis stiffening. And then power. Power means nothing if u can’t put it down and a lot of cars aren’t dialed in with track alignments when you buy them. Avoid aero or boost the car until THE VERY END PLS. Too many people slap on slick, Forza aero and thing the car will be good enough. Vs a finely tuned car they loose every time in the corners man.

Here's a tip for turn 10 .... First remove this utterly stupid upgrade system you put in place and built a game around I genuinely is just boring to play there's no fun in racing for hours and hours and hours to upgrade my car when I can just go play Forza 7 and have the freedom to do what I want....

bought and love all other forza games but this one is just horrible bad , they even blocked trainer mods so i cant play the way i like to , and i dont even play multiplayer just solo .
Imagine buying a sport car, trying to change tires and your service guy says, NONO, you need to go on the race track on stock tires and complete 10 circuits before you are allowed to change your street hard tires with no grip to sport soft tires.
Step 3: Play Forza 7 or Horizon instead.
