We have so many fond memories of vacationing with our boys there. One of our favorite spots are the Roast and Toast, and the toy store with the bear out front. It's been 15 or more years and I'm ready to return. Thanks for the great post!
It's so damn civilized! It's like going back in time! I grew up there and I will move back. Doing business there versus the typical big city is so much better. People here try harder because they have to maintain good relationships with their customers. A different world indeed! Love it!

As a frequent visitor to Northern MI and someone hoping to retire there, I can attest to what a great town Petoskey is. I'd add that the area produce is awesome, the fall colors will leave you speechless, there's lots of great cycling, and there's some nice disc golfing in the area!
@@genodangeloI've only seen 6-8 of your videos, but if you haven't already, maybe “must haves” for a comfortable and affordable year-round home vs. a summer home. Also maybe the pros and cons of living in town vs. the country, e.g. being on city water vs. well and septic.
I wud add you can easily feel like a genius after comparing yourself to the locals who are not the brightest people on Earth ……… you laugh a lot hearing the locals talk about how the town is the center of the universe …….how resorters in the summer come there to see them not the lakes and woods…….laugh more hearing how the high school football team is the best in the USA, the junior college is better then Harvard ……..feel morally superior knowing to get ahead it is education and work while your average Petoskeyite will instead focus on gossiping about your neighbors what church you go to guns drinking and dope ……all kinds of sex , guys go to family parties to meet women …….and once you are on I 75 or 31 headed south you get a great feeling of escaping to the real world in the south
