I have a D9400 crt with a chassis thats beyond repair. Do you think a D9800 chassis would work considering they are pretty much the same thing?
Man, I've got a 33" Wells Gardner D9200 that's not showing an image, the screen is completely black. There is no dot in the center of the screen, there is not a line across the screen. It's got neck glow; I replaced all the capacitors, same result. Using the remote, the OSD doesn't show up either. I've read somewhere that I'll have to force a low resolution for it to snap back to normal... but that doesn't seem right. The board is EXACTLY like your 27"... I may see if I can just purchase a working board... If anyone has any suggestions, let me know! :)
Have you tried the black level next to focus on the chasis? The glow has to give you something if you adjust those. Don't turn it up too high, just slightly until you see something
@@namco003 i know you mean the 2nd knob on the flyback. I dont think it would go that dark whether or not I fiddled with it. It's been so many years since ive had this plugged in, i might have tried it?...
It's sitting in a box next to me right now. My plan for it this year is to get it on the workbench and try it again. If I cant do anything, then see if some local service center would like to try.

hi, the APB machine will be finished maybe this fall. Just need to clean it up, paint coin door and touch up the side art. The SpyHunter machine is going to be a lot of work, not sure when to start on that. I remember it stopped working and had garbled graphics on the monitor. It was in bad shape, the monitor was dim and had bad burn in of the text from attract mode. i walk by the machines everyday and think about needing to fix them. thanks for the interest.
