@blessingejeriefe4515 Not true! What people do is to sit all day and night waiting to see closer dates drop on the calendar and when they see, they quickly pick it... so what you will be paying for is the time they use not the dates to buy...you can also do same yourself!
Hello, I have recently paid my visa application fee by card payment but I can’t access the appointment calendar. I’m suppose to have my interview at Dakar, Senegal. Can you please help me out on how to access the appointment calendar 🙏🏽
@modoulaminjanneh6317 Once you pay by card, it ought to immediately provide you with the calendar for appointment. Have you contacted the AVITS SUPPORT TEAM?
@ yes I did but they have not been helpful at all. All they keep saying is they have escalated the ticket to the technical team but nothing has been done about it
@modoulaminjanneh6317 Unfortunately, on this, it's only the AVITS team that can help. Another wayout would be to contact the US Embassy in your home country

Here in Nigeria we have what is called a "US Visa Navigator" portal which provides you with the opportunity to reach the Embassy directly other than just the AVITS Support Team. If the US Embassy in Rwanda have this similar platform, I am sure it can help your case
Feeling frustrated with the new U.S. visa portal, AVITS. I completed visa fee payment on September 10, 2024, but now the portal won’t accept my receipt and is asking for another payment. This is preventing me from booking my appointment, and my trip is just around the corner! I’m reaching out for any advice on what to do next. I really need assistance to resolve this issue before my travel plans are disrupted. Thank you!🙏🏾
@cbunmyro Unfortunately, for issues relating to payment, it's only the AVITS team that can help, but then you can also reach the US EMBASSY via the US visa navigator tab
Thanks for documentation of this process. I am supposed to be qualify for dropbox but this portal does not give me that option. The next available date is May, just as displayed in your video. Is there a different process or anything I need to do?
@gaadade5183 you qualify for a drop box if your past visa expired within the past 24 months...if your answer to the question on the portal is affirmative, then you should get the drop box option

For F-1 my school will start on January 21st, still there is no interview booking date in The Gambia. I applied for an emergency appointment two weeks ago but no response, please advise...
@sheikhomartrawalley3530 From my experience in Nigeria, a request for expedited appointment usually takes within a week to get feedback, so in your case, I suggest you raise a ticket on the AVITS portal to know what the delay is

Yes I created support tichet 5 times, and now they told me they sent my issue to the help desk, that I should wait!

What if u already have an interview appt for immigrants visa and u can't confirm ur appt on the app
