Don’t Yamaha have way better bottom end? With my 24 gas gas I feel like I have to always be on the clutch in second gear going into corners otherwise it bogs.
How does the engine braking compare between the 2 bikes? Which rolls nicer into the apex of corners? Are you a taller rider? Which bike has better grip points with your legs? Which rider triangle is better and why? Thanks and sorry for all the questions but we don't get test rides around here and I'm thinking of switching to ktm lol.
I still prefer my Ktm, the Ktm has more power and is way faster on top. Really the only thing I like about Yamaha is the chasis and the suspension. I’m 5’11 and 160, I think the Yamaha has more grip points but I like the ktm because you feel a little shorter on the bike and I prefer the way the ktm handles. Engine braking was about the same on both.
The Twisted Development ECU is supposed to be way faster than the KTM. Worth checking out.

The 24’ and newer Yamahas are worse than the Ktms and GasGas
