As a summary being proactive and planning major expense categories, time to time review and audit of recurring costs like insurance helps with savings. Good share Andy

HUGE proponent of meal prepping - if you do it right, you can save time, money, and eat way healthier. It doesn't have to be chicken and rice either, you can eat really good on meal prep

High interest ETFs are a good option too to park cash. For example, the one I use here in Canada pays 5.15% currently.

Actually, that's how we're saving to pay down our mortgage. Keeping the money parked at 5.15% to lump sum down the road. Here in Canada your rate is only fixed for five years, so we want to plan ahead to tackle our debt when we lose our sweet 1.89% rate.

Oh so let me see instead of telling people they need to outpace expenses period you talk about saving money which is not the same as making more money. I know this because I can't save on a $12 an hour income while I can making $21 an hour BECAUSE $21 is more than the $18 an hour minimum I need to break even. YOU ARE WHERE YOU ARE BECAUSE OF INCOME NOT SAVING more likely than not!!!
