The joke is you see, despite Spielberg’s name on the top of the title of every cartoon, it was actually Tom Ruegger who created those shows. With the exception of Freakazoid, which was created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini
Funny, he’s just a big shot named on it to make it more appealing and to coax people into watching it
Spielberg DID help produce all of those shows and did have a significant say in how those shows were made. An example is music. All three shows had a live full orchestra for all the music and would still make unique songs for each episode. That was a Spielberg call and they couldn’t say “no” despite how expensive it would be, because it was Spielberg lol

Animaniacs, Freakazoid, Pinky and the Brain and even the Tiny Toons (even the last 2 had a crossover: Pinky, Elmira and the Brain) in the same universe! It's even better than Disney!

Wow, didn't realize until I watched this again that Freakazoid and Wakko are matching in certain colors: Wakko's red hat, Freakazoid's red suit. Wakko's blue shirt, Freakazoid's blue skin. And they both have white gloves and black hair.
Freakazoid is coming back on Teen Titans Go with Paul Rugg, Ed Asner, Joe Leahy and David Warner returning to reprise their roles. Episode is called “Huggbees!” and airs 11/14/2020.

Freakazoid really needs a reboot, especially since it was Batman's Bruce Timm who originally designed the characters. Plus, the internet is WAY different than its 90s incarnation.

When freakazoid showed up on TTG I thought “is there an animaniacs and freakazoid crossover?” My gut was right
sadly they couldn't include Tiny Toons as that show was airing on Nick via reruns at the time (I never realized that TT had finished it's entire initial run before the other 3 even started)
I think Buster and/or Babs should've been there too. It doesn’t matter if their show was cancelled.

The memo that Freakazoid received from Steven was based on an actual one Paul Rugg received from him regarding his love for Animaniacs. Also, the Amblin building is a redesigned version of Acme Loo from Tiny Toons. Speaking of which, Plucky Duck was initially going to be part of this argument, but Tiny Toons was airing on Nickelodeon at the time instead of Kids' WB!.
