  • This is a simple tutorial on how to install flat twists. It's best to do this style on stretched and detangled hair for easy manipulation. It's also the perfect protective style because my ends are safely tucked away. I hope this tutorial is helpful.     Can you believe I finally got it? LOL. I wasn’t doing flat twist but 2 strand twist. Now I can flat twist. It only took me forever to get it down pat!😂

    Lord knows i can do lots of things with my hair. Box briads, cornrows etc but i can never understand the flat twist no matter how many tutorials i watch 😂😂😂

      For me it's the other way around lol flat twists are the only thing I know how to do as far as braiding to the scalp

      Its basically the same concept as cornrows but 2 strands

    Watched this & did my hair like this in 5 minutes! Only thing I did wrong was didn’t twist the other side toward my face but I will tomorrow! lol thank you for this

    I love my natura hair best decision i made three years ago the hard thing was finding moisturizer and a gel hit the jackpot last week got ecostyler gel at Garden city mall outside Nakumatt there is a stand that sells hair product..and last but not list your channel Shila has helped me styled my hair ..thank you and keep up the good work

    I think I twist in the wrong directions- mine doesn’t look as neat also I think I’m grabbing a lot of hair😂😂😂

    Did you blow dry your hair before starting? By the way, I've tried doing this and failed at all attempts. Had to have a hairdresser do it.

      I did it Nairobi but Felicia Leatherwood, an International hairstylist cut it for me. You can check out Amadiva Salon or Hairdresser254 on Instagram. They have amazing stylists and are also great with tapered cuts.

      Thank you Carrie, no I use heat once or twice a year. I prefer using the African threading method to stretch my hair.
