I do this also. Not only acts as a cleaner, but lubricant too. If I get a used mower, I do an immediate oil change with a few oz of MMO. I'll do one grass cutting, then change oil again. Amazing how much sludge is removed.
Using Mobil 1 or any engine oil will Not harm your equipment, that’s ridiculous to claim it will. These engine manufacturers make no claim to use special small engine oil only as long as it meets the specific spec or above. Mobile 1 10w-30 will work just as good as this oil.
For most people yeah but most people don't buy amsoil. The people who do buy amsoil are probably more of an enthusiast, and an enthusiast would take comfort in having an oil specifically designed for small engines in a small engine of theirs. And there is a bit of a difference including increased levels of zinc and a formulation more suited to heat dispersion and expected to be always running at high RPM. Regular motor oil for cars goes towards fuel economy moreso.
Mobil 1 is automotive oil. Small engine oil has a different additive package and is formulated differently than automotive oil due to the fact they run wide open throttle all the time. You're talking apples and oranges.
ONLY way to go!
Thanks for sharing.

Nice! I like that idea. 👌🏻
Is the quikshot also a fuel system cleaner or does amsoil make another product for that?
Yes. It has a cleaner and even has a dose of stabilizer in it already. Designed for the small engine fuel systems and they way they're used/stored. 👍🏻
Thank you 👍
@@360plussynthetics Worth mentioning : run Saber at 1.5 percent. 1 percent is just too low. Grtz

@@digitalunit318 and mobil 1 is mediocre synthetic at best. redline, amsoil, pennsoil ultra platnium are all better.
@@MrSGL21 Out of those listed, Amsoil and Redline are the only ones that are 100% synthetic, and I go with Amsoil.
