    I would also say that the market is a good indicator of what trends are popular.
    Python is extremely popular as a programming language yet there are more jobs for C++, JavaScript, PHP & C# than there are for Python. The "python trap" catches a lot of young ambitious developers out there.
    So ultimately I'd focus on what's really going to help you land the job you want instead of what's the most up to date Framework.

    One aspect which most new developers don’t understand is that most of the time you have to work on an application which is already present … you don’t start creating stuff from scratch everyday … and those existing application uses legacy set up most of the time . While then clients are more than happy to upgrade the tech stack they are mostly constrained because of budget .. so my suggestion to those junior developer would be to learn the legacy setup as well as the newer framework (understanding what pain point does the new framework solves)

    You just spoke my mind and addressed my decision on remaining on the very common cut-across programming language such JavaScript, which is very relevant, updated and surpassing new tech ways of doing things. I Love JavaScript and anything.js. Thanks for the advice.

    Hello Jessica 👋
    It feels overwhelming when people say they are learning web3 and other new stuffs.
    Personally I focus on learning native languages then I go for any framework and spends a lot of time before jumping for a new one.
    In my opinion, learn the foundation and the practices like testing, accessibility, performance improvement tricks etc to make your apps robust

    I'm so sick of everyday there will be new web framework. It's out of control now and puts devs on a lot stress. And people think it is good because we build new technologies. No it's NOT. They are all doing same thing %95. I think it needs to be put on a standart for companies' future and human health.

    Jessica ma'am, I have been following your videos for the the last 2-3 months.I wanted to be a web developer.I don't have a computer science degree.I'm 27 years old.My friends, who are working in IT companies in India says, that no one will talk to you until and unless you have a degree.They further add, when there are plenty of young people available in the market ,who are from good colleges, have a cs degree then why someone will hire a elder person like you, who don't even have a degree.I really got inspired when I listen to your story of how you became a web developer without a degree but now I feel I can't do it.

    The VS code extension Live Sass Compiler V5.2.0 from Glenn Marks (not that old one) is supporting the @forward and @use rules, but I don't know if it's better to compile Sass with gulp and all that setup through npm or with this extension. Is someone here already using it?

    • @TheCoderCoder
      @TheCoderCoder  2 роки тому

      They're both good options! The extensions are great if you're just working locally. But using Gulp or some other kind of build tool or bundler is what you'd have to use in a real-world production environment on a team. Hope this helps!

    using a css framework(bootstrap or angular material) or just making our own css classes
    i dont like angular material because i cant customise some the padding, margin of some the components
    but building the css from scratch also seems like too much effort
