White House staff cuts off Joe Biden mid-sentence and abruptly ends news conference

- A “rambling” press conference by Joe Biden in Vietnam was abruptly cut short by the White House staff, leaving many in the audience puzzled.
It came at the end of a historic visit in which the US president highlighted new business deals and partnerships between the former enemies, including a $7.5bn aircraft deal between Vietnam Airlines and Boeing.
“We talked about stability, we talked about making sure the third world... Excuse me... The southern hemisphere has access to change. It wasn’t confrontational at all,” the 80-year-old president said as he began to trail off.
His press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre cut in decisively: “Thank you, everybody. This ends the press conference. Thanks, everyone.”
Mr Biden made his exit from the stage, but not before his microphone was abruptly muted and the speakers started to play jazz music while he continued to address reporters unaware that he was inaudible.

Biden ended his response in a tone of defense as if he was being questioned about something no one else could have known and that only he had his administration knew… he said in denial and defense:
“It wasn’t confrontational at all”
This reveals that it was probably a confrontational meeting
Then he was immediately interrupted
Then he says something again in the microphone. The first half is silent. But you hear him say “….voice, and I’ve raised it with everyone I’ve met with”
Meaning he was defending his actions about having a confrontational meeting. He revealed something that happened behind closed doors that he wasn’t supposed to and that’s why he was interrupted.
Interesting. Who was he confrontational with? The world affairs is considerably quite besides Ukraine and West African coups. It’s awfully quiet this past decade.

The reporter asked him about that meeting “with the number two from china and India” and “what did you talk about?”

@@redpine8665 you might want to begin by taking off yours... the man is visibly tired, it's amply clear from the beginning of the clip... and then he signals that he'd like for the questions to stop so that he can rest (« i don't know about you, but i'm gonna go to bed »)... and regardless of that, there's a journalist who it seems prefers to act disrespectfully, asks their questions nevertheless, trying to play gotcha... and still the president patiently answers... then they have to make sure that everyone in the room understands that the event is over, because, apparently, there are some journalists who can't get a clue...
and it's nothing short of misleading from those who operate this channel to present the clip as they did (ex.: « rambling, » « trailing off »)... as if their job was to distribute blinders...
