- Went to the beach some days ago and made this short video for you. Love how this one turned out and hope you like it as much as I do.

we need the color grading tutorial, amazing! I really want to learn how to edit and shots videos like this
probably davinci resolve + dehancer/film box plugin, additionaly hue vs. hue/sat curves (just a guess). Maybe additionally color warper or something/ primaries. Maybe lift shadows and bring highlights down with curve and more color density either by plugin or node->color space-> HSV and only select 2nd channel. Just a few ideas on how he does it but i would want a tutorial as well!

@@dasgerm4797 Yeah I think so. It could be also cineprint 16 + additional adjustment as you said: curve and HSV saturation for sure
A 5000$ camera helps a lot
@@giulio9476 I respectfully disagree, it's got little to do with the camera. he has even applied a vintage grade and 1:1 square picture profile to achieve a vintage film look. In my opinion, what is executed so well to make this great is his composition, shot selection and times of day he has shot each scene and the story he is telling with the use of local sound mixed with the classical music. He is refined and every shot is smooth and stabilised. He could have shot this on a $300 canon or what ever and still yielded a very similar great movie. :) I own a production company, and I own $40K cameras and I can assure you - a better camera doesn't make you a better filmmaker. LEarning the art makes you a better filmmaker - the camera is just a tool to get the job done :) no disrespect intended and yes FX3 is a powerful stunning camera :)

What's your workflow like between Premiere & Davinci? Did you use the XML route?
Export an EDL file and an uncompressed version of the video after editing, import to Davinci and Color Grade. After Grading is done export another uncompressed version and import to Premiere for finishing touches.
