Bless you guys Thank you, we always take everyones opinions in mind but at the end of the day we have to do what feels right, thank you so much for all the love and support ❤️❤️
Hi Becca and Chris, call me slow but it just occurred to me you have basically been camping for the last 3 years🤔. Hot water and a finished bathroom will end the camping and begin the boating. I have the dreaded Covid and your video made my day thank you ❤️.
haaaaa your spot on...weve just been camping really havent we. the hot water cant be long now...very very exciting, sending you anti covid hugs try and have a lovely week ❤️❤️
Personally I would put it horizontal if space allows under the bed as that will make bleeding of air easier. Also use compression fittings rather than the hose tails which are on tank at moment. It will probably work out cheaper and less likely to leak.
I think I'd mount the calorifier horizontally, with a bed or seating overtop. You'd get the benefit of some radiated heat to the bed, the piping would be easier to run and hide alongside or possibly under the floor without having to open all the wall panels, it would be a more secure mount with the weight kept lower down in the boat, and it would take up less usable space. Just my 2¢. The covers should be a great addition from a quality company.
there seems top be quite alot of people suggesting that, it is still an option but I do think were heading the vertical route.it would be more secure for sure. thanks James
It will be great to have new cratch covers. Titan looks like a great company. I have no idea about the calorifier but would definitely go for what would allow you the most space. HOT WATER!!!! YEAH! 😊 🤗 Kathy
Titan- that name alone should tell you just how awesome this will be. 😂They seems to make a quality product, with alot of attention to the details . With proper maintenance it will last a long time. I'm sure you'll be happy with your new cratch
You sure you understood all that Chris ??? lol the way you nodded your head and smiled wasn’t convincing ! Lol you always make me laugh. Can’t wait for the new covers made by Titan !!! How apt ! Love you guys see ya next week !!! Xxxx

We went with Titan, very impressed with the Quality and we went for black out covers as well as a couple of midge panels one at the front canopy and one at the back canopy. 👍🏼
I am very restricted for space, so opted for a Horizontal Tank. If you are going to have a bed also, a Vertical install may restrict you somewhat. I have used JG push fittings, and all looks good. Have fun. Love the Cratch cover by the way. Yes Chris, i did say 'Cratch'
Thanks for sharing. We are thinking now that horizontal may be the way forward if I can make it work in the space we have. Yes I've heard JG are good, as are Hep20 push fittings too. Thanks so much! Haha; 😂

Great to see how the cratch covers are made and that its a local company you are using. Cant wait to see them on the Wombat ❤ i wonder what colour you are going for .....and Chris got to say Wanky Tanky again 😂😂😂
Hi Becca, Chris, seems ages since your last Pocast. Great to see both again, and good to see your exciting updates. You made a comment about a mis-spelling on the Clarifier instruction paper, so I am not too sure if the following was deliberate. You spelt Analysis (on screen graphic) wrong (no N) !!!!!! Love the way it was decided that Becca would install the Clarifier. Liked that Becca was sat in her office (OK Box) working out her game plan. Becca looked really cosy in the box. The Titan factory was amazing. It's very clever how the cratch covers are made, and what a great product they look. Steve was fantastic explaining the process. Glad you got your Nobbly bits OK. Great that Chris assisted in mapping out the bed area size. Loving as always the editing and great sound effects. I was expecting to see the engine when you took the covers off the wall? Excellent Vlog as always. Take care. All the best Spoolbox.

I'm beginning to think that the Wombat may become the Titan. Or Titanic, maybe. Now there's a theme you can play on! You could even paint it in White Star Lines colours, complete with the classy gold hull stripe.
Great video guys. It's all starting to come together. Yay. Those covers are going to be gorgeous, proper quality gear. Excited to see them installed. PS It's Mick aka Shorey Life. Gone back to doing what I like best, fishing haha, but im still your number one stalker, I mean fan. Cheers guys

@@TheNomadicCrobot fair enough, it was difficult to see the pipe setup in the video. I’m sure you know, cold water is normally fed in from the bottom and hot water comes of the top. Also having the cold water inlet at the bottom allows you to drain it down easier, should the need arise. Another great video by the way, keep up the good work 👍
thats interesting, Bex thinks she has here head around it as we were going to get someone in to help, supposedly there not to hard to do, originally we wanted it in the engine back so opted for one we could mount ether way, but alot of people have said this...its a bit worrying ,fingers crossed
@@TheNomadicCrobot I’m sure Bex is all over it. I can only assume if the cold water inlet is on the top that the pipe extends down inside to the bottom of the tank, that would allow it to be mounted in either orientation. I’ve not seen one like that before, every day’s a school day, as they say 👍
The tank actually has insulation around it - the blue stuff is a layer of insulation, but we also have some insulation jackets which I was planning to pop round it once it's in place too to keep it nice and warm. The pipes should be ok internally in terms of freezing I think... Thanks for your comment 😊
Why wouldn’t you mount cylinder horizontally under the bed, as it would then give you space for a small wardrobe, and help keep the mattress dry in winter, I’ve also noticed my bed doesn’t feel as cold in winter as the other bedrooms on my boat that don’t have clarifier,
thats a very good idea, I think the idea of having it standing would be so that it would have its separate space and we could use the under bed for storing clothes
@@TheNomadicCrobot would it not be easier to access clothes in a wardrobe rather than having to lift mattress, plus you still have the option to mount draws under the bed as tank can be mounted under the bed under the window, you can adjust the ballast to allow for the weight of water in tank. Looking at your tank you still have 3/4 space under bed for storage, but then you’d have a wardrobe as well, which is always useful, even if it’s just for storing your coats in, or the occasional ball gown 🤔🤣😂

Have you thought about having a Murphy bed as it will save space and make you live in a tight space.
that would be a really great idea, wonder how hard they are to build
According to UA-cam it is straight forward, ideally you have your own height and your partner’s get a matteres to fit and you are nearly there.
