HIDDEN in plain Site! Huntingdon Boathaven Caravan park

- In this video we visit Huntingdon boat haven caravan park in Cambridgeshire , a small-ish site with around 20 or so pitches both grass and hardstanding , we paid £66 for 3 nights with dogs on a hardstanding (gravel) pitch , facilities were slightly dated but perfectly clean with hand sanitizers situated outside , (Elsan point behind toilet block) the site is ideally located by the side of a Marina , from where there is boat hire available & within easy reach (10 mins walk) of both Huntingdon and Godmanchester , with lovely views across the river great Ouse looking on to paddocks , there is a small dog walking area behind the facilities block.
Wifi good ✅
A 10 minute from walk from the site & over the footbridge will bring you to Huntingdon with plenty of shops and a few pubs , in the other direction brings you to Godmanchester, another smaller town with a couple of nice pubs and a beautiful park area with a lake and bird life , we were surprised at the amount of various bird species so if you’re a twitcher , great for that too !

Dog walk is the field the other side of the river Portholme. Come out of the site and either turn left or right and 4 to 500m there is access to the meadow. You walked along the old railway line to Cow Lane Nature reserve. BTW we are in Godmanchester.

I’m from Cambridge but had family who lived in Godmanchester and Huntingdon, cool site didn’t know it was there
Brought back some good memories, I live in the Midlands now fir my sins lol

Hi! Based upon your video, we booked this site this weekend and it was lovely. We had nice bright and sunny weather (Pimms O’clock) and it’s really nice in decent weather. Had to pack away in the rain though. All in all a great place to go. Thanks for your video - we’d have never found Broadhaven otherwise. Apparently after speaking to the owner ( well I think he was lol ) a lot of other people have visited thanks to this video. Cheers! Sara and Rob.

Nice site but I would imagine in the peak season it could get manic, it is a bit of a shame with the weather, take care and stay safe.
