      Hello. So sorry that it took so long to respond. I am terrible at checking for comments on my videos. Thank you for your questions, you probably have already been able to find those wheels since its been 3 months since you asked. Just in case you don't know yet, if we remember correctly they are sold through invacare Canada and Then through our local vendor. This set were from Superior home Healthcare in Ontario. Hope you were able to get them. My husband really likes them. You do need the app however to get them to do all he needs.

    Hi Anita, thanks for getting back. Who told you the xtenders were not good anymore? also what year did they say it? I am a quad and tried a demo m25 but it was confusing and It did kind of jerk left-right when trying to control going downhill. Maybe it was on too high a speed. did your husband have these issues? one more thing, once you get your adjustments for speed programmed in, can you just get up and go without remotes etc? thanks for your help, truly helpful, shirley

      Hello. Sorry I just saw your message. It was actually the vendor who told us those wheels were no good. Meaning the newest model. Because Craig had them for five years and other than the spokes breaking all of the time, the wheels in cells had worked really well. The new model of the emotion M25 definitely take some time adjusting and figuring out what settings you need to use. Once you do Craig is finding them better than the extenders. For one thing the spokes are way better quality. And you do need the apps to make them work properly. You can set up the wheels through your app on the phone before you leave home or wherever you have your phone. And you don't need the phone to make the wheels work but you just could not change the settings without the app. They are definitely good quality and work in our very hilly area. If you don't need to go up hills then you might not need the settings that Craig uses. He pushes a grocery cart with one hand and wheels with the other in a specific setting, he says it's sensitive 2 and uses sensitive 1 inside. He said the wobbling from one side to the other if you're just using one arm it's just something you have to kind of figure out and get used to. Adopting does happen. But it definitely has a lot of settings. Cruise control is one of the app selections you can purchase separately, or the whole package for one price.

      Hi I ran out of room in my comment box. I forgot to tell you that two vendors told us the Yamaha extenders supplied by quickie, we're no good. That is the newest model. If I remember correctly, I believe it's all documented and are walking way overrated blog site on blog spot. Was 2020. Hopefully in the last year they were able to fix whatever was wrong with the new updates. Craig's issue with that particular wheel wasn't the power, they could handle heals wonderfully with pushing Motion of course. But the spokes broke from day one and the company never changed their quality. But a local bike shop helped him. Craig didn't really have any choices left regarding wheel selection. Because Alber's Twion model couldn't handle even a slight hill. And he couldn't handle the single wheel idea. He is definitely impressed with the cruise ability to go up a hill with one push. And we have serious hills in our neighborhood. We even live in the middle of a really big long hill. Hope that helps. Let us know what you decided are chosen. We definitely understand the challenge and trying to pick something you can trust and count on.

    It also makes a difference with the front casters too. The bigger, the better for some reason. The soft rubber ones Craig has are good too. That's an interesting wheelchair he's in...what kind is that? Albers are not for hills. BUT, you can go from one side to the other...or up backwards. Rolling with Cole and Charisma is a UA-cam channel in which Cole walks his dog up a steep hill and he has these same wheels, you may want to ask him how he does it. Actually, not sure if his chair went up the hill...now that I think about it.
    Just a tip...there is usually an info button viewers can click on to bring you to other videos. I never knew there was a second and third part...many people also include the links in the description.

      Yes, my husband definitely likes bigger casters. But I encourage them to switch out to firmer solid ones so he isn't battling soft tires. It isn't easy to pump up the little thin pneumatic casters. Thank you so much for your comments and insight.

      Thank you Morgan. I will look into how to share links and info. I am still learning how to do the videos and as you can tell my editing skills aren't that great either. Really appreciate your comments and feedback and ideas.
      Cole and charisma is a channel we watch too and Squirmy and Grubs. Craig had to buy the app in order to have the new model of wheels go up hills. I believe there's a video where we show our talk about the cruise control feature. It is really amazing, he has to have it turned on through his phone and he pushes and his chair actually went up the Hill by itself . That's definitely something new that the old model didn't have. They sell the apps individually or as a package. That was something he didn't know until he received them. But the company made up for it and he is able to do all his old Xtender by Yamaha did plus the cruise feature.
      Without the app the wheels wouldn't be of any use to him. They have excellent quality spokes. His first set of the other brand xtender (we have videos about all that at our blog walkingwayoverrated.blogspot.com ) connected through this channel.
      Take care!

      @@ABergieCreation yeah, I'm impressed by the quality of spokes for the NaviONE wheels. They are super thick and rigid...almost like steel. I'd say at least twice as thick as a regular bicycle spokes...maybe even more. Editing skills come with practice, and you are doing great! Just keep on doing videos. I love to see them. Your videos are very down to earth and everyday things. If it makes any difference, most men are stubborn. I think they'd be lost without our mothering 😂. I also tend to go in the middle of the road where there is less of a crown...but I have a service dog tell me when there's a car coming. I also like little mirrors I can hold up to see what's behind me.
      On my chair, the NaviONE battery goes in a backpack type thing which is then tucked under the chair and there is no way I can see it. I didn't know there were apps. I'll have to check into that. I just bought an extra battery and swap them out. I'm glad you got it to work going up hill though. I don't bother with insurance..and the power assist wheels set me back 7 grand and the extra attery, 2 grand. But I go through Living Spinal where 3% to 5% goes towards spinal cord injury research. I think that's much better than giving money to the government. Be careful if you are going through Medicaid, there is an estate recovery thing after the age of 55. I know you're in ON, but if you know of anyone in the states.

      @@shirlbell9649 Hello. Thanks for watching. Just so you know my husband was going to buy the extender wheels again because he knew that the spokesbreaking were the real issue. And he was able to get a bicycle shop build him new much better quality smokes. But when its 5 years were up and the extender ones broke, we were told by the vendor and it was confirmed by another vendor that the distributor in our country for the extender wheels Said do not buy the newest model of the extenders because they were being returned. That was why he started looking into the Albert emotion wheels. So far the M25 model husband working really well for him. In fact doing things that the extenders didn't do like he has to use the cruise app and it enables him to go up hill all by himself without pushing. Just one big push at the beginning and apigos. It's pretty amazing He just has to steer. Sorry for any spelling mistakes I use voice to text to respond and sometimes I See it makes some silly mistakes. Hope you're able to get a set that works well for you. When he had the extenders other than the spokesbreaking all the time the motors were excellent and made going uphill very easy. Take care.

    NOOO...the E-Motions are NOT better than the Twions UNLESS you want to only use them indoors or on a flat sidewalk. I have the Yamaha NaviONE power assist wheels that go over grass, gravel, bumpy roads, and so on.

    • @ABergieCreation
      @ABergieCreation  3 роки тому +1

      Craig did get the twions in the beginning but they had no power, when it came to going up any hills at all. however, The emotion M25 can only go up the hills with the app. In the cruise setting he just gives it one push and he goes up some very big hills without moving his arms at all just steering. For sure if you were just on a flat surface that's why twions are adequate. In fact the twions aren't being made anymore. And based on the newest emotion M25 wheels it looks like they blended the two designs together. They are made by the same company.
      And they have very good spokes. Craig went through quite a time when he first got his xtender wheels, the spokes were breaking right from the beginning all the way through. Discovered taking them to a local bicycle shop. They custom-made spokes for him every time and trued the wheels for him. I don't know how he would've got through without that. Because the company he got them from offered nothing to help. And now the vendor was told by the supplier that the new models are of no use they're all being returned.

      @@ABergieCreationI was just thinking of you and how I hadn't heard from you...great minds think alike 😉. The local bike shop here won't work on my chair or my NaviONE power wheels because the owner freaked out because I have a spinal cord injury. I guess he is one of those friends who walked away 😟. Oh well. So do you have any of the power wheels...or were they all no good? Did you keep the M25's. I love my NaviONE wheels. They are designed to go on gravel and grass. I'd be pushing it with the beach...I don't want to ruin them.
