I discovered this video at the very beginning... Only 400000 viewers ... I'm French and I shared it with many friends and some of them didn't get the slightest Spanish culture. But La Pantoja won everybody s' heart singing this wonderful song written by the regretted Juan Gabriel. And such an orchestra! I do like the comments of this young gentleman.

Qué tan grande fue Juan Gabriel, que le prestó su concierto, su canción, su público, su orquesta, su coro, su mariachi, su escenario, su atmósfera musical, su atención y su tiempo a Isabel Pantoja, para que ella tuviera la qué quizás fue su presentación cumbre; porqué en ese momento ante el público y en aquél escenario, se dio un espectáculo que impresiona a cualquiera qué lo vea y que no podrá dejar de reconocer la calidad y magnitud de semejante show.
La canción la compuso Juan Gabriel pero era de ella, ella llevo ese tema a la gloria total, una magistral letra por supuesto pero con una interpretación no menos magistral. No sé si con otra cantante esa canción hubiera llegado dónde llego, esta mujer era una bestia de la interpretación dramática, demasiado poder.

Hola , Juan Gabriel compuso muchísimas canciones que canto el. Est que canta Isabel Pantoja que es española, nos encanta pero la mujer que interpreto por años sus canciones fue otra española Rocio Dúrcal, que se volvió parte de nuestra cultura en México. JUAN Gabriel icono en México. Te recomiendo la melodía Querida en bellas artes. Amor eterno la escribió a su madre a quien adoraba. Y los mexicanos no dejamos de cantarla a las personas que fallecen, es una canción irónica en México.

I am 3 years late to this reaction video but happy to see it and agree with you with everything. Thank you! A few notes of my own:
Why a song exists usually makes the whole thing a lot more interest. The singer tells how her former partner / lover suddenly disappears / abandons her and as she keeps waiting for his return, even while knowing nothing from him. After some time she finds new love and by then, the former lover returns out of the blue and wants her back. She tells him her new lover knows the story but she says that she's honest with both of them, she has no love for the old guy and the new love has shown her how to forget and forgive and that they can still be friends if he wants. The song ends with her saying do not cling to the impossible and do not harm me and yourself anymore. The poetry and the play on words.. Me he enamorado (I have fallen in love)... me enamoré (I am in love).. Kind of like, I have fallen in love and I AM in love. Another part goes: ¿Por qué? (why?) ¡No sé! (I don't know) Pero fué así. (but that's how it was) Así fué (That's how it is/was). (which is the name of the song) is amazing. Now, get this: Juan Gabriel asked Isabel Pantoja to marry him after her husband had suddenly died. She declined and that gave Juan Gabriel inspiration for this song.. WHAAAAAT?! Yes! This is why she sings to him at the end. ALSO.. while this show was going, Isabel was going through some tough stuff back in Spain and even served jail time because of money laundering. So Juan Gabriel is publicly telling her, COME to MEXICO, we will protect you. Sources say he was building a house for her to move in Cancun but then he sadly suddenly passed away.
