Everything looks nice in your high tunnel. Thanks for the fertilizer recommendations and the reminder! I need to get a cadence set up as a reminder on my calendar.
Thanks for the info on peppermint near eggplant. I’ll do that!
Please tell me more about paprika peppers. I'm growing them and hope you'll walk me through the process. First time grower.
Hey it is my first time growing them so we will learn together. My plan is to use them to make paprika powder.
Flowers 🌺 for you! You are great at responding and acknowledging the comments. I try to drop a flower when I’m running around or downloading to watch on a plane. I appreciate you and the information you share.
Thanks and you are welcome!
Love love love collius. You can propagate it also and yes they come in other colors like darker purple. Green and purple. Just a beautiful plant 🪴 Thank you for your time
Ok godo to know-thanks!
Don't worry if the comfrey doesn't look good. It has a tap root . As soon as it establishes the comfrey will look beautiful, and healthy. Remeber it's a perennial and it spreads. You can divide the root and plant in other places.
Ok good to know-thanks!
Yes I’m “Team Fox Farm” also. I used their planting soil in both of my GreenStalks and they love it.
Your excitement is so contagious 😊I just love your videos.Your tomatoes and peppers are fantastic.Im so excited about mine.Planting my tush off.😂Is anyone Not a flower person? I'm an everything person.😊❤Thank you.
Yes it is my favorite!
@@susanjacobs-nu4eg Thank you so. much!

Thank you!
Wow!!! Your tomatoes and bell peppers are stunning 👏👏👏 I’m a few weeks behind you in Central New York (but I’m from Tennessee!) and your videos keep me so excited for what’s coming in my garden!
Thank you and wishing you well!
Barbra the energy you have for your garden is infectous! Love your energy. You make me feel like I can grow anything. I cant but you seriously make me want to try! Thank you so much. I look so forward to your videos so much.
Aww thanks and you can grow whatever you want! Be encouraged!
Hey, Auntie Barbara, it's good to see you. I hope you had a good Memorial Day. I hope you got some rest question, Auntie. I'm in a small space on my patio. What pollinator do I need? I'm growing pineapple tomatoes lemon balm, basal, and green zebra it's a heirloom it growing okay, but do I need a pollution plant for my patio garden I'm curious 🤔
Try marigold, zinnia or sunflower.
Comfrey ain't only a lovely plant. It has medicinal uses, serves as a mulch and an organic fertilizer.
Yes I have heard that and look forward to reaping the benefits.
There are several different colors of Coleus and they’re all so pretty. Your space is beautiful and TFS
Thanks!
Wow, ☺☺ Your garden is so well-organized and inspiring. I can tell you put a lot of thought into it. Videos like this are incredibly helpful for people who want to learn more about gardening. 😍😍
Thank you! I am glad the information is helpful.
HEY BARBARA, TFS I APPRECIATE THE PRODUCTS YOU MENTIONED AND EVERYTHING IS LOOKING GOOD 👍🏽👍🏽😉😊
Thank you !
Coleus from seed is great! They charge $ for those annuals in the nursery. I'm surprised u struggle with dill. I'm in CA zone 9 It's called dill weed It even grows wild by the freeways. We use Rosemary as a deterrent here, strong scent, resilient, sprigs are good on meat on the grill. I heard the oil is great for hair! 🙏
Yes I have heard rosemary oil is good for hair-interesting!
Hi Barbara, your garden is looking good. I'm 7b in Maryland and I got my tomatoes pruned today also. Thanks for sharing, your videos helps me to get motivated. Thanks garden friend❤😊
Thank you~
Hi Barbara🙋🏾♀️. Your garden is looking great. I’ve started feeding my plants more often because I didn’t know that I needed to in the beginning💖
Yes that is good!
Hey Sista Barbara💁🏾your high tunnel tour had me at that herb bed and I was drooling at your Diil plant. I have not had any luck with my dill plants. I will
keep trying.
Yes keep trying! This is my 3rd time trying dill and 1st time with success.
@@AGardenersJourneyHomestead ok will do. Safe travels for you see ya when you get back.
TIP: Please hold what you are showing us very still, for a longer period of time. I know that it will probably seem to you as if you are holding it there for too long; but, it will be much better for us on our end. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your channel. LOVE the way you explain everything. Thank You loads. Love, Peace, and Blessings.
Ok will do! Let me know if there is something you did not catch and need the name. Thanks for being here.
Oh my gosh, I have to try that mint tip because I just planted my eggplants and they're getting eaten like crazy. My mint is already in a pot, so I'll just move it near my eggplants. Thank you, Barbara!!
Edited to add: I literally just moved my mint right next to my eggplants!
Awesome-I hope iy works!!
Note on the chamomile after they bloom the will end up in every pot in your garden. I have chamomile in every pot except the pot I first grew it in. I love the flowers
OK good to know. Mine is doing nothing right now.
the colius was the first thing i planted a few some yrz ago, it grew like crazy , i loved it! & no there is no other colors, but they are Beautiful... urs is absolutely Beautiful!
Thank you!
There are many, many colors of coleus. Most are multicolored, new varieties every year. There is one that the leaves are basically lime green but most are a rainbow-in-a-plant. Look at the seed packet, most that I see are Ferry-Morse brand. Also a plant that has a special meaning to me.
@@maryhasse7161 I am so glad I discovered it !
What variety of bell peppers and where you purchased them?
In the high tunnel, I have hybrid greenhouse varieties from Johnny's seeds. They are specifially for greenhouses because of the high heat and high humidity. They are Milena, Sprinter and Brocanto.
Hello sister Barbara great video as always do you have to something special to take care of eucalyptus plants
No I do not do anything special with them
Thanks 😊
How do you fertilize the greenstalks? Just liquid in the top then fill with water?
Yes or Iuse my backpack sprayer and do a foliar feed
Hello 😊
Hi! Thanks for stopping by!
None of my pepper plants are doing good once I planted them out😩😂🤣one evening looks like it dying, some seeds didn’t even bother to show up to the party 🤣gonna keep trying, why because I will not just give up🤣even if I gotta get a few starts from the nearest place with starts. Maybe I planted them out too early 🤷🏽♀️
Peppers are tempermental. They love heat, but our weather fluctuates so much in the spring. I just transplanted my peppers and they look so sad and tiny 😮. I agree, let’s not give up!
Remind me where you live and did you plant transplants and when?
@@AGardenersJourneyHomestead Dayton Ohio, Zone 6. I winter sowed my peppers in February and transplanted to the raised garden bed just last week, May 20 or so. The weather has fluctuated greatly, I think the soil is still too cool, but I wanted to get things done 🙄. I’m planning to start more pepper seeds this week to ensure that I have a harvest. I love to make cowboy candy.
@@slhemp3556 Has it been 50 degrees or less at night? If so, the temps may have stunted them but they will be fine when it warms up consistently. If they are not dead-just let them be and fertilize them. Peppers love high heat and tend to do better when the heat comes.
@@AGardenersJourneyHomestead Thank You. This week the overnight temperature is expected to reach the mid 40’s, so this is good to know. I’ll cover them too.
Be patient with me… I’m so frustrated…. Tired of pruning plants, feeding plants…. Reporting, putting stakes up.. trying to get enough to support my tomatoes and peppers. I havd mobility issues… and I’m pretty sure I’ve onions that need to be tossed. Sorry.. I’m just overwhelmed. It’s hard to do with little help. I want to be successful…. Forgive me for the attitude. I’ll get rest and pray. It will be better… I guess I just needed to vent.
Hey it is 100% ok and I know it is hard. Take a rest and clear your mind. Say a prayer and then make a list of all that needs to be done and just focus on the top 1-3 things for the rest of the week. Hope that helps and know we all have those moments.
Yes I wanna get some coleus as well I like how it looks and they do have more colors that are even prettier Barbara CHECK IT OUT😂I’ll get me some eventually
I know you will!
@@AGardenersJourneyHomestead went to work yesterday and what do know COLEUS seeds waiting for me from one of my coworkers❤️it🤗
@@erikacarter Wow unbelievable!
