Handmade gold chevalier ring octagonal shape 18KT

Giving balanced proportions to the shapes, of a gold ring for pinkie finger, is often difficult given the measure to be respected of the often very small finger, in this video I made a chevalier ring with an octagonal head shape for a finger measuring number two, Italian , equal to an internal diameter of 13.3 mm.

Very interesting to see the technique for this. I was thinking of making the hex as a single piece first to place in a hex-shaped hole, but this seems a far better way to get a proper fit.😉👍

I wish I had the money to buy these tools and metals so I could get into the business, your videos and craftsmanship are very inspiring! I’ve made wood rings on a homemade lathe made from a drill, been thinking about buying a better lathe and making some better rings with different gems inlayed into the center. I need an apartment first lol I sleep in my car so it’s hard to do any of my hobbies without a workspace and electricity but maybe soon I’ll be capable
