Growing up, getting greeted with a "konnichiwa" or "nihao" never sat right with me - assumptions based on appearance felt so limiting.
But how accurate can we really be when guessing someone's background?
We put our perceptions to the test in the "Guess the Asian" challenge and what we discovered was eye-opening.

People always called me Mexican when I lived in Cali. Now I open my mouth internationally and they immediately just say "AMERICAN"

Safe guess! 😂 believe it or not some people in high school called me Mexican as well 🌮 these days, they just assume American
