I think the thing is from my perspective at least is that I still utilize my mystery shards on the regular. I have somewhere in the 2-3k amount. Keep in mind the less you spend the more you will need to utilize your mystery shards for champ training and topping off summon events in game. Also, if you are using RSL to auto run stages at night, you are farming a lot more mystery shards than mobile players who only have a limited amount of auto battles.
Yeah that’s definitely true. Mobile only is rough. I do play a lot on my phone so I still understand that part.
@MtgJedi no shade at all towards you. I think people should be utilizing their mystery shards when it makes sense for them. 10k is a nice goal to have for a mystery shard nest egg so to speak, they just often end up spent before accumulating to that count in my own anecdotal experience.
fax to what this guy said. they come in pretty regularly if you farm the dungeons and play the game fairly often.
i think the biggest reason most of us dont have mystery shards is cause we use them for food. While most cc use ancients and voids that they used for shard pulls. Also to finish fusion summon rush or champ chase. i have taken to buying not just the mystery shards but the champs i get in the market to try to save the mystery shards i get.
When I didn't know what I was doing, I had thousands of mystery shards, once I started using them for basically all the sorts of things you suggest they go faster than you think. Once down they stay down. While I can stomach pulling less than 500 for a summon event (and as a low spender I need to pull a couple hundred every champion training event), there are summon rushes/championchases/decksoffate/path events roughly twice a week these days and there is no way mystery shards will ever accumulate on my account again.
This might be the answer that makes it all make sense
I think it would be cool if they let you convert a certain amount of mystery shards into ancient shards.
Maybe every 50 is 1 ancient

@@jahleelanderson5543I'm not sure where you came up with that math. 1 ancient shard is worth 200,000 silver. 1 mystery shard is 5,000 silver. 50 of which is 250,000 silver.

If people tell you, they don't have a ton of Mystery Shards I'm not sure why you felt it necessary to go out of your way to argue with them.

As FTP I use them to complete summoning events during fusions, when I am out of sacreds. Every two months I can pull them to complete this event completely without sacred and I can save sacreds for 2x or double legendary
Speaking g of mystery shards, I wish they would make it easier and faster to open mystery shards and feed the champions from them. I would like to see some way of assigning a champion to your mystery shard pulls so as soon as you pull them the champions automatically get fed to the assigned champion.
You know what's really odd is. We used to get ancients more often from doing farming. Now you might get one out of six hundred runs

7:40 .. when you clicked on the potion and it showed your current potion count it blew my mind. I never knew you could check that from the stages screen, and always thought we should be able to. I buy ALL market shards and go a step farther, most of the time i buy all the 2 star champs for food so i dont have to pop more than 3 singles per day. I use them in events when I need them. stocked up 5k greens on the FTP and 2k on the main.
Lack of mystery shards comes from low income (f2p only does 500 battles per month which is probably only 750 shards) and high demand of summoning events and often training events for lego books (they added lego books to training tournaments).
Mystery Shards are indeed getting rarer! And it's exaclty because of the thing with the guaranteed Michinaki event back in summer. You could get him for 10k points like you stated. This threshold was something easy to cheese with Mystery Shards and Plarium was fully aware of that aferwards. So they set the bar higher to 40k with Kaja and Gwyndolyn while also sneakily decreasing the drop rate for Mystery Shards in campaign. I can say that with confidence because I never use Mystery Shards for food generation and also do my food farming only in campaign. And the shard recovery from the Kaja event until the Gwyndolyn event was way lower than it should have been.
I have to thank you for sharing the Conspiracy Theory with Mystery shards for summing up higher rarity champions awhile back! I used it especially when I wasn’t close to mercy.
I have used it with summoning from Ancients, Voids, Sacreds and yes I have even used for Primal Shards (but I only pull the Primal’s are up for 2X Mythicals).
I have gotten Legendaries, Void Legendaries and Mythical champions from using the Mystery Shards system.
I have three Mythicals , I fused Lady Mikage (she’s a must do fusion), Frolni the mechanist, and Night Queen Krixia.
The only shard the Mystery System doesn’t predict for is the Prisms Shards because of the size of the pool.

I gained about 2000 mystery shards during champ training tournament in 2 days. Granted I farmed the hell out of 12-3, but I got a ton in no time.
I'm a lvl 100 who used to pay to play but stopped spending last summer. I do top chest of CB for UN, N and B every single day. I have gotten exactly 4 sacreds, 9 Voids and 8 Ancients since December 1st. The 5 Ancients I used to get reliably from the Market every month? Last six months are 1,4,3,2,2,3. That's refreshing a dozen times a day as I find time to jump into the game. Throw in the absurd increase to fusion/event requirements since last year and suddenly my 25K Mystery shards dropped to 150. I'm up to 1,100 after I blew everything I had left getting Tormin and pulling during the 1+1(got a second UDK and my 1st Jintoro so happy there).
It's simply that people don't do campaign much anymore. I had 13k until I did the Michinaki fragment event almost entirely with mystery shards. Unfortunately, Plarium have now nerfed the hell out of them in summon events so they're building back up from a low of ~3k.

mystery shards have decreased. i had like 15k and used them to help with tatura and karato fusions. since then, while my count has gone back up slowly, i linger around 2-4k mystery shards.
they are great to help close the gap on summon events, so definitely something to hoard. buy them whenever i see them in the market
I have ~1000, but i know where mine went, i use them to suplement summon events, and during champ training, sometimes dipping both at the same time. Good way to "get" more of them, is to buy champs in the market, instead of opening mystery shards. it adds up
I buy every mystery shard from the shop, do campaign 12-3 brutal, still only have 1200-1400 mystery shards. I almost never farm potion keeps
F2P! F2P! F2P! As a f2p player, I always enjoy watching the content creators do the F2P challenge. And find it incredible to see how quickly they progress, because of their years of knowledge. Would love to see you join in on it.
I never seem to run short of mystery shards, but I generally don't use them other than in my daily 10 pulls. I also buy them when I see them in the shop. I try to keep a minimum of 100+ of the colored potions and 50+ of the gold ones at all times, and I run a lot of 12-3 to level up champs, so I get a lot of mystery shards that way.
i play for 2 years and few months... i always learn something from F2P series, and last F2P challenge wit CC's really helped me to progress. In these series CC's always show me few champs i have and I don't use but they can help me progress. So i hope that there will be few CC's who will go with F2P and HH challenge make it more fun.
I go between 500 and 2500 mystery shards. I do a single 10 pull daily to get my quest for 3 champions. and every few months I will pull 1000-1500 on a summon event weekend to get points.
I´ve had situations where I´ve been low on mystery shards, so I´ve thought "I´ll just level up 100 1 stars commons in campaign, surely it should give me a surplus", and I´ve ended up with less greens+uncommon drops than the number of champs spent for upgrading. Ofc, usually you´d get the surplus you sought, so this is never an issue over longer time.
Sometimes it just feels like the rng comes in waves that are bigger than they randomly would be if it´s not meant to be waves.
Yes to the F2P series. So main account I pulled like 3k+ for one of the fusions and rarely can get over 1000 since. Two F2P accounts and both over 5k mystery shards. So on the main I farmed campaign a lot to start but then built up over 5k brews of each type. I try and get the Legendary book on ever champ training, so that takes a lot of brews and mystery shards to level champs up but I'm rarely running campaign. Also I take 6-1* and farm masteries so not running to 6-60* in campaign. Plus I almost never spend on shards. The F2Ps are running campaign a lot more, thus more mystery shards. It really depends on a few things, if you spend and if so on shard packs or not, then the balance between farming gear or farming food. Also for food, are you leveling up through campaign or with brews. Lastly are you doing training events every time they pop up or not and are you going for max reward or just what you need from the event. Another factor is farming food in dungeons, leveling food in SD/Dragon/Spider/IG means I'm not running campaign, plus triple dipping is hard to resist, IG/CT/DD while just running 1 dungeon. It's a balance thing.
I open lots of Mystery shards and deplete them to about 300-500, then build them back up to 1000+ in about a week just by doing Champ Training. Running in 12-3 seems to give me lots of Mystery shards. I am always shocked at how many I build up just from Champ Training. I also open Mystery shards in Shard pulls because I pull Mystery shards in between like Sacred Shards. It might be entertainment for me, but anyways, I use up a lot of Mystery shards and they always seem to build up fast.
8:00 - i usually try to keep the superiors at 50-ish
The biggest problem is if you have 1 device you have to give up your phone for hours on end and the multi battles is limited
I farm mystery shards in campaign brutal at Brimstone Path. Get plenty at Stage 3 plus shields sell for more silver.

I was thinking just what you said I do a 10 pop to get my daily reward and I run 12-3 that between there and the market I can pick up more than 10 every day. I don't know exact amount but I know I have over 4k in mystery shards.
I use mystery shards in the fusions, never seem to have enough of the other shards, always use them in the summon rush
I have right at 5k mystery shards but the big difference now is I just do champ training in the tavern and don’t do much campaign. The higher level you get, the less you do campaign (unless you spend a lot and need to do traditional champ training bc lack of brews).
I have 10k+ mystery shards and I try to keep 30-50 superior affinity and around 80-100 arcane. I always buy the misery shards in the shop and only pull the 3 needed each day for the daily. I decided after Michinaki that I wanted to get 30-50k misery shards and collected ever since then from a base of a couple hundred. I do use 2-3 hundred of them to make food, or top up a summon rush occasionally but I don't see a lack of them anywhere. In fact, I wish they would stop giving them in potion keeps at stage 16 like in all other dungeons but definitely on the final stage. Nothing worse than spending 16 energy on 2/3 misery shards. I always use campaign to rank food, and Mino to rank champs/scrolls unless I buy the scrolls then I rank the champs in campaign instead. If you really want misery shards and don't care about energy/silver then farm normal campaign as the rates there is significantly higher.
I think all CC's should join in the new f2p and see some real competition amongst the big brains. I think 2 months is probably too short though to really get anywhere. 3/4 months would really show who is best at using what they pull. After 2 it's more likely who pulled a good one early will win with little chance to catch up.
I average around 3,000 because I use them when I can do champion chase for fusions, I don’t buy shards like creators so I have to use what I’m have

I have about 4k mysteries. I buy them in the market always and collect my playtime. I use them in every champ training to get champs to raise for food. As far as potions, since sintranos i have actually run out of superior green and arcane and need to farm more. The others i have over 30
I'm only down to about 2k from 5k from the Tormin fusion. Almost zero of the shards I pulled to get him gave me anything higher than a rare. I farm Brutal 6-7 for the campaign boss quest and 12-3 otherwise.
I got 1-2k of mysteries. I don't do potion keeps and have a compareable amount of potions. Running level 20 dungeons with food during tournaments and events. Now I can't reach the 500 monthly runs for the advanced quest. The lack of mysteries is on my. Not on any extraterrestial or plarium influence ;)

bro, if youre not a big spender, and you want leggo books/epic books. you have to pull mystery shards to attain the rewards in all the champ trainings. no possible way to have enough resources to do them all except to pull mystery
I'm over 14k mystery shards. Around 2 to 3k a month, from what I can tell. What I think they have reworked is cb shards. I track them and lately I seen total shards between my 4 keys 45 to 50 shards a month. Still true however the last 3 months my Sacred count has dropped to 2-4 a month compared to 9-12 for the previous 24 months. Voids staying the same at 9-14 and my ancient have increased from 28-33 to 36-42 . I know rng, but it was a cliff dive around the time they added primal shards to the other areas
I log clan boss drops too. I just finished my third year of logs. My worst month was 3 sacreds in a month, (June 2022) second worst was 4 sacreds (July 2023). My best month has been 14 sacreds, which I've had twice.
I assure you that the drop rates have not changed. It's just the nature of RNG, and the more results you have, the closer to the actual drop rates your results will be.
I have around 1k mystery shards on my account.
Checking the market is something I do whenever I see the red dot and I buy all the shards (mystery or ancient).
I rarely ever run for potions, unless I'm very low and in need of them at that moment. I actually have more potions than you, other than the arcane ones, which I tend to be hurting for. My potions I get from doing CB daily, 4 different difficulties. I'll post a screen shot of my potions in your Discord.
My Potions look the same as yours. I've been getting them from Doomtower and Clanboss. I don't know when I actually farmed the last time in the Potion Keeps.
I had to farm each potion keep for a couple thousand energy to get those numbers but I also upgrade lots of champs for videos too though.
In my experience, people that don't have mystery shards are the ones that don't run campaign to train champions - or they run nightmare, for the energy saving. I'm end game, I still run campaign because I know I'll need the shards for food. I sometimes run NM campaign, if I'm levelling 4* champions, as the energy saving is bigger than the lower ranks.
far bigger issue i have is where all the brews went... i havent been above 100 of any type in months. I used to skip 1-2 champ trainings and have 500 of each and now i cant even do champ trainings with brews... its awful
I keep 40 superior and restock them when i use them. I usually have around 1500 mystery shards on average. I buy them in the market and get my daily but I get the most from campaign for champ training. I can't waste time in campaign unless there's an event on. My time to play is limited and i need gear upgrades more than anything else. After that, masteries are most important for my account. I've got dozens of champs I need masteries and gear for.

My mystery shard count only goes up even as I use as many as I can without just summoning them like crazy
What is your opinion of gem buying of masteries vs farming? I personally feel that gems are better because of the energy cost to farm. I can spend the energy in content and earn gems plus all the other rewards, champion leveling, ect. Over almost 2k energy to master a champ is a lot of energy to spend.
It takes 600 gems worth of energy(assuming you are at the 130 cap) to get a champ fully mastered.
You would get more energy by using the 600 on energy and farming masteries. Then you would have 200 gems to do whatever you want with.
@ordinarystrawstraw555 how many runs at max level with a fully mastered team for one champ?...the time grinding, I am always multi battle broke, is my other concern. Time management is a big concern. Raid seems to think we should put in job level hour plus overtime to grind out everything. My run time is about 1:10 give or take rng.
For me I assumed it was because I stopped farming Brutal 12-3, once I was able to 2 turn spider 20. Last time I dipped into my Mystery shards was for Michinaki; Had 5k spent 3k I think? Now i'm left with 2.8k, haven't had close to 10k in over 3 years (5 year f2p account). If you don't do 12-3 anymore it certainly ruins your stockpile it seems.

The reason you have so many is you pull so many shards. Those of us who are ftp are pulling tons for champ training to get Lego books. The drop rates are fine. But books are so important many of us can't do that. Getting a guaranteed champ is worthless if you can't book them anyway. Gwyn is fine as a champ but being able to book other valuable champs is far more important to me

I think the fact is that most of the viewers don’t pull or Champion as often as you do, which is why we have to use mystery shards for Champion training, I am religious with the shop, I am religious with any way I can save mystery shards, I honestly only use three every day for dailies, but the fact is I have to use as many potions so I can to reduce the amount of this I use in Champion training, also I don’t have unlimited energy to spend on campaign farming, so that limits how many I can get there. The most I have ever had is 2000 shards in four years of playing.
I'm definitely doing the FTP challenge...still waiting to see if the rules call for a team or can do as a solo player. 20 superior potions is right, but I farm them the week before PR CvC to higher levels. I think it's waaaay easier to stockpile mysteries the more youspend on shards. I spent a lot the last couple of months and my number is as high as it's ever been (around 1k), but as soon as I start to buy more energy instead I'll be back down to normal 300-500
So far what I know is teams of 4. And then if you don’t have a team of 4, they’ll pair you with other people.
Please do the F2P series. I think you actually have a lot of great insight on management in both gear and resources.
Hey, in my case is because I don’t run campaign anymore. Brutal or NM. Whenever there is champ training I do it with brews tbh or on spider 20 or hard 10. I can do both with 2 food champs. I know it’s not the most efficient but the silver is way better than having green shards sitting around for nothing. I can one key all difficulties on CB so I get enough shards for fusions that I want to do.
I’m at level 97 rn and been playing for years now (before the rotos fusion) the most I’ve ever had was 5k greens
I also have around the same potions as u do; not as many of the middle ones tho.

Well seeing as each month the quest to do 500 campaign runs is always the thing keeping me from completing it. For me I know it's cuz I never do campaign anymore. Not that I need em tho
Since all the crazy champ training events going back to back. I went from like 10k mystery shards to now having to buy common, uncommon, & mystery shards every time they appear in the shop. It's even got so bad that I have to refresh the shop time after time just to get food to do the events smh. I no longer get mystery shards while grinding campaign like we used to get. It used to be while leveling food in campaign, I would get more than enough mystery shards to keep my count at a decent number, but recently (last 6 months or so) my mystery shards has become non existent. I'm even leveling the uncommon & common champs and still can't keep any shards. I haven't been able to get more than 100 total at all in the past 6 months smh. Something has definitely changed, because I'm a decent spender in the game and still not wasting any food champs I'm unable to get any kind of stock pile of mystery shards. Edit: I also have cut down to only pulling 3 mystery shards a day instead of the old quick 10 pull.
Additional edut: I have recently only been farming nightmare 12-6, but since watching this video i went back to farming brutal 12-6 & my mystery shards have begun to grow again. Up to 350 as of now. So the problem may have been where i had outgrown farming brutal campaign & was only farming nightmare to save time/runs.
I got 7k+ mysteryshards and I use them frequently to get food chars to lvl my 5 stars to 6 stars. 😀
Since you built my fk hard 6 team, next time we have a fk event for either savage or regen we should do a video on hard 6 vs 10 with 10k energy spent. See if there’s a big difference. It’s not a huge energy investment so the sample size isn’t massive but it would give a decent picture of the 2 dungeons side by side.
i sometimes farm dragon/spider on normal with food and i rarely farm ig with food
I have 18k mystery shards so no idea where the video idea came from. And I use them daily in making food.
Edit: I have around 400 each of the superior potions and I stopped farming for them.
I bought a 42 void pack and it glitched and said my credit card was expired but it charged my account and I opened a ticket and plarium refused to credit my account with the void shards….

12/3 brutal used to give 3 mystery hard gave 2 and easy 1 now 12/3 brutal gives 2 to 3 2 more often than not
Join HH. Let's make it as big as possible. I always buy mystery shards from the market. I do all rewards, I am an active player, but ftp. I run 3 of each of the two potion keeps a day, double on Sunday. I run 12-3 brutal and yet I am now down to 800 odd after going for Tormin's soul. I know if I just stopped using them for a month or two I would be up to a few thousand, but I seemingly always want the rewards from champion training tournaments. I don't gain enough rare champions to use them as 3* chickens very often so have to rely on the uncommon from mystery shards.

i dont farm a lot of campaign and i dont buy often from the market so there is no mystery :D Also, even if we can complete an event with mystery shards there is no way i am opening 20k mystery shards or something crazy to get a champion. That is time i prefer to spend with family and friends or at least play the game.
I don't know how you are so blown away by most of us not having mystery shards if I am being honest. I don't buy shards and so on multiple summoning events every year, I top off summoning events. So I don't spend too many sacreds or voids....and ancients are never worth much on non 2x events. So if its 500 or 3k points that will quickly drain your reserve.
Meanwhile, I'm sitting on 39k mystery shards....
I only open them to do my daily. Once you’re mid-endgame then they’re useless

Nah it's not the mystery shards. Many players don't have thousands of them is because they need more commons/uncommon to complete champion training tourneys/events. If you're a spender you don't use them because you pull alot of regular and void rares to complete your champion training.
One thing I do want to note however. I am pretty sure the rates for obtaining sacred shards in clan boss rewards have decreased over the last years. I play this game for almost 4 years and I really had many more sacred shards lets say 2 years ago.
I have heard this alot but I have never seen any evidence that the sacred shard amount has gone down. I know I still get them regularly

All the other free shards are gone. Mystery shards are not. Used to buy 5 x ancients from market now 1 a month. Yes F2P rely on that market but plarium does not think so.

I’ve played every single day for over a year, and go HARD. I hit every mission, no exceptions, I hit every daily and every fusion. I save my resources and watch a TON of videos.
I have just about 2K mystery shards, never have I ever had more than 3600.

You gave the only reason why you dont understand it. You buy shards, period. If you dont you have to use mystery shards to do champ training. I do al the tips that you gave in the video. Its really disappointing that you got overwhelmingly negative feedback about your free gwendolyn video, with all the reasons listed why people dont have mystery shards, but apparantly it didnt land at all
But here’s the thing though, I agree with you for my main account. But on my f2p I also had thousands though. So how can we explain it there?
Your mystery shard take is bad , you spend alot there's alot of people that use mystery shards to complete champ chase or summon rush .
What about the f2p side I was talking about also though.
@MtgJedi I'm sorry I'm not understanding what you're trying to say . I've played for 18 months and have been FTP for 1 year . I only have 5k mystery shards , and I've been saving since the Gnut fusion . I don't use good shards on champ chase or summon rush unless there's a champion I want . I'd rather pull 4000 mystery shards then waste my 8 sacreds . I don't have as many potions as you, no , but all my champions are fully ascended. I use a majority of energy farming gear so not many mystery shards come from that . Everyone has a bad take, still love the channel
You only have so many mystery shards because your math skills are so poor. If you would be able to do basic math, you would know that mystery shards are gold to carry FTP players through champion chase and summoning events while saving more valuable shards for x2 or guaranteed champ events. Recently, you misled your followers suggesting to pull mystery shards for gettipoints to open cards despite that event offered 6 times less value for mystery shards than regular champ chase and 9 times less than summoning events where ALL intelligent FTP use them
