Tried the GT2, not thinking about replacing my TSR2. I picked up clubhead and ball speed and 11 total yards with the GT2. I went with the 60 g stiff Hzrdus Black shaft. I feel like i can really swing as hard as possible and not lose any accuracy. The GT2 had a tighter dispersion compared to my TSR2. very happy with it. On Saturday my 6th round with the GT2, I had drives of 301, 315, and 330, with the 301 and 330 in the fairway and my 315 yard drive in the first cut. Extremely happy with the gains of the GT2
Thank you for watching! We appreciate the support. Mitsubishi Golf make us our own line of golf shafts. For this we use a 60g stiff flex in what is considered a mid flight profile. It is the same shaft we use for every test.
With the tech of the last few years and the limitations of what can even be done these days, we aren’t gonna see a big difference in a club 2 years newer. If you have a TSR moving into a GT is just wasting money. Sure you may see slightly better numbers, but are they worth $700, absolutely not. It different with guys on your, they get them for free and they are so good that every yard or mph makes a difference, not so much for us. These days your paying for better forgiveness
So if I’m thinking of moving out of the TS3 to the ‘2’ range. It’s probably worth picking up a pre owned TS2 for 250 (head only) rather that spending 700 on the new GT2….. that was my take away?
I suggest getting into an environment where you can hit both. In real world fittings we have been seeing great results with the new GT line from miss struck ball speeds and consistency of spin on miss hits.
Went to a Titleist fitting yesterday. I'm laid up with a splint on my right hand so was interested how my playing partner (Titleist ONLY in his bag) would do. The GT2 driver did not impress - my friend is sticking with his TSR2. However the GT2 3 wood with the new Fujikura red TR shaft easily won him over. consistently 10 yds longer with tighter dispersion.
The fairways are a whole different thing all together.. launch, spin and carry much better than the TSR2 fairways which I am playing now. Am not convinced with the Drivers, though dispersion on the GT2 is much much tighter than my current TSR3. Ball speed and club head speed improves a fraction on the GT3 hence a little bit more distance. Not convinced on the change on the Driver but the Fairway yes.
I gained closed to 10 mph on my ball speed with the from TSR 2 to GT2 and roughly 5 mph from Callaway AI Max. I’ve been gaming the AI bc of the carbon face, the feel is much better, so I’ve been gaming the GT2 for about a week now and loving it.
No, as we did not have our robot in action on their embargo dates we have chose to hold on reviewing them until next month when we have our new robot and will test all of teh 2024 equipment again providing the best information possible.
@CoolClubs right on. Look forward to the data. It has certainly provided good input into my driver selections the last 2 years. If you can, test the triple diamond max with that ai smoke family. I'd love to see the numbers on it (since it firmly planted itself in my bag).
I had a TSR2 and it performedlike other makes low spin model for me. I never saw the whole high moi forgiveness thing, it was a missile launcher with really low spin in the 9* head. TSR3 felt like the more compact looking version.
We think all of the manufacturers are hitting their limits and club fitting to dial in the specifics of your swing characteristics will be where the larger gains are found.
I have just purchased mine and omg l love it ...wow and l hit it with easy ❤❤❤

That is awesome feedback! Thank you for sharing.
Best reviews. Cool Clubs is awesome. Thank you.
Thank you! We are in our growth phase, so much more to come.
Great video. What shaft were you using for this review?

Did you test at other swing speeds? Would love to know how it performed closer to 100-105mph
Not yet, but we will. Before the year is over we will have multiple speeds tested on these drivers.
@@CoolClubs Agreed. Would love to see something in the 105mph range as well. Love the robot testing!
After watching the video, I guess I’m not really clear on if the improvements over the TSR are significant?
From the robot alone we see small gains, but we believe with the aero added, most players should see a worthwhile gain from their TSR line
@@CoolClubs thank you very much for the reply!

What shaft was used ?
We use the same shaft in all of our testes. It is a Mitsubishi Cool Clubs Proprietary shaft with a BlueBoard profile. 60g STIFF.

Does your Gold Coast Australia Cool Clubs have this new range?
Yes, all of our Australian locations have the new Titleist products ready for demonstration. Thank you for watching.

Thank you for sharing your expereince with the channel!
Thank you for finally exposing the GT as Generational Technology 😊
We think it is going to be a powerhouse of a driver for its life cycle.
Thanks for watching.

@@CoolClubsin Your vid tsr2 the Numbers were better then GT2. Especially heel and Toe strikes. Please check and be amazed

Did you guys not post the individual reviews of the ai smoke and qi10 lines? I don't see videos for them...

We agree, the GT products may produce more separation this year!
The new drivers seem to be the benchmark

I’d like to see 110-125+ speed
Coming before the end of the year. Thanks for watching.
No comments yet???
I guess we have this out pretty quickly.
