This is an orchestral masterpiece. The way the instruments greatly convey the sound of battle and emotion of Azhdaha, and how the chorus is amazing. The fact they used an ancient language blows me away, and makes this peace so much cooler.

As Chinese who majorly speaks mandarin, the first time I hear this I was like “wait is there a lyric in the music?” As I did a little research afterwards, I was shocked. Instead of modern language, this is ancient Chinese and commonly used in the poems in the past. The each single word is not that hard to understand,put them together you don’t know what it’s saying, but if you do a little research you will discover that it’s telling a story. Can’t imagine how much effort and inspire the team put into this stunning poem, music, lyric,and rhythms. Don’t even mention the stunning performance of the Orchestras.Absolutely MASTERPIECE.
Whenever I repeatedly hearing the melody, so sad. Inevitable destiny for friendship to be broken (came from being misunderstood) and parting after conflict ended, wishing the next life able to meet again and drink wine while laughing remisnicing the joy from the past. (Listening while doing accounting work ended cry everytime is being repeated my work done before I realized, the melody behind has stories are beautiful.)
No offense but we only got to see azdaha in like 1 quest and then he dissapeared. There was not that much build up for their friendship to end. But if you enjoy it, good for you.

It does not amount much to understand the weight of relationship with that quest and dialogue, but this piece hinted me everytime I repeat. :) I enjoy the content except the vicious mechanic so called gambling for all ages 'gacha' system.

To me it seemed forced to make them have this sort of chemistry as friends. You can make 2 people have any chemistry you like in fiction. You can just make people seem like friends without telling much about them. To me, that is very boring, the character lacks depth so it seems like the character is just there to move the plot which is fine but azdaha seems like such an important character that i see it as a Mis oppurtnity. You can just make people seem like they are friends and you woudn’t care cause you don’t even know his or her background, and azdaha didn’t have time to develop his entire arc properly besides through 1 quest. Tbh, this is about zhongli more than azdaha and How zhongli is moving on.

You may find it is strange and different about the sound of Erhu when it appears first time because it actually not Erhu,it is Shaoqin.Shaoqin looks and sound like Erhu,and changed from Erhu.In this part,the player(Ma Jiajun) was afraid that Erhu is not loud enough,so he changed the instrument to get a loud music.And in his second play he played Erhu,that's the same instrument in game version.
No wonder on the first part it sounds much flat compared to the studio version .. and yeah on second part it sounds much similar .. combined with the Chinese flute thooo .. what an eargasm

I once fought azdaha with a random team, 2 dps, 1 support and 1 defender. I use zhongli as tanker, and 1 person as kokomi. 2 people who use dps characters easily die, remaining support and tankers. We both beat azdaha with half his remaining blood for 30 minutes.
Yes since this is with other orchestra instruments, the guitar isnt the same as ingame as to not be overwhelming and so that we can hear the other instruments (I think)
Quite sad raiden battle song were not as powerful as this. Hope yu peng chen sensei will make another epic song like this for future boss battles. Not to mention the story behind this song were really sad
